mrdharkchild: It shows how this tenure will be, u never spend 2 seconds as president, u just announce subsidy removal.
What is the plan to cushion the effect on the common man? No plan. His friends, the rich were already prepared. It you(not me) that'll suffer it.
Emilokan!! Lol how long do you think your Messiah will wait before removing it?

Gbogbowa: Obi removing it imediately did not mean that he will not discus with stakeholders and see how to cushing the effect first then face it out. Tinubu mistake is just that he did not meet with stakeholder and that can cause problem for the masses just like the money policy How do you know he will meet stakeholders first? He said he won't allow it a day longer.

Bfly: Looks like Tinubu is yet to understand Nigerians. He should be aware of what his casual comment about subsidy removal has caused and also be aware how his subordinates will syphon the subsidy funds.
We would come to realise that Nigerians is the problem of Nigeria.
Tinubu has accrued more enemies who are ready to undermine his governance even more than Buhari had. More than 6m obedients are ready to overturn every policy he makes just for the sake of expressing their dissatisfaction.
Nigeria cannot be tamed.
May we be saved from the hands of hopeless opportunists. Let the six million Obidients do their worse. Their Messiah will never be President of United Nigeria. Let Nigeria break first so he can rule Biafra and the few brainwashed non igbo Obidients can relocate there with him. |

Fujiyama:

You still don't get it do you?
It is time for BAT to govern. Pardon me for being blunt but speculation about the capabilities of other candidates is nothing but idle nonsense at this point. We have passed that stage.
This is a terrible start and one that was completely avoidable. What exactly has been achieved with that reference to fuel subsidy in his speech? He did the right thing by announcing it in his inaugural speech. It was anticipated and the price would have still gone up in the coming days even if he didn't. Oil marketers are already aware that there is no provision for subsidy from June. |

We have passed that stage. Nobody is talking about elections anymore. The courts will decide the aspects that are being litigated. Full stop.
Day 1 and the man has already started misfiring. He has not constituted a cabinet, does not have a team etc. and he decided to run his mouth without thinking of the implications for an industry over which he does not have full control.
Day 1 and we already have fuel queues.
Day 1. Thank you. Other candidates would have been worse. |

Filling stations in areas where Tinubu is hated will really profit a lot this period. They can even decide to sell it at 2k per litre and their people will be screaming Tinubu. I envy them. Price of fuel has only added by #7 where I stay. |

NaMe4: The average price range in most States is N180 - N250 , why is it hiked up to N700 in some areas? Lol they hike it up in places like Benin and most Eastern states because they know their people will quickly put all the blame on Tinubu. They kukuma hate am before. Some filling stations still sell less than #200 per litre in Lagos this evening. |

Yugoslavia247: Bro go an listen to bala on arise tv page on twitter.
Will dangote sell to Nigeria at dollar rate or naira rate? The loan he will pay were they gotten in naira rate or dollar rate?
Is dangote going to sell cheaper to Nigeria and sell more to abroad customers?
The workforce especially those from overseas, will they be paid in dollar or naira? If it is dollar then it will be uniform. you can not segregate payment
CBN says they will buy forex from dangote. Now will he sell in CBN rate or parallel or black market rate?
If he sells the parallel rate or black market then dollar will not reduce but increase.
If dangote sells cheaper to naija customer that means Nigeria is paying dangote subsidy. Answer the question and tell me your answer Lol so you get your wisdom from Arise TV guys? Lmaooo |

Bobloco: He shouldn't have made that announcement right there at the podium knowing fully well the repercussions it will have on it's citizens across the country immediately
But come to think of it, Tinubu and his ilks opposed subsidy removal during Goodluck Jonathan regime, so what changed. That podium right there is even the right place to announce it. Whether he announce it or not, oil marketers knew he will definitely remove it as it is not in the budget from June. Some filling stations have stopped selling since Saturday. The price of fuel was set to rise in the next few days in anticipation of the subsidy removal so formal announcement by the President is the right thing to do. Scarcity will disappear when Dangote refinery start operations in July. |
