Family / Re: Witnessing A Loved One Die In Your Presence by ThaOwerriMan(m): 7:27pm On Feb 18
DaddyRochie1642:
It's over one year I lost my mother to stage 4 breast cancer, the breast cancer was not detected early,

- I remember that day very clearly like it was yesterday,
- It was on a Sunday morning, she was responsive their on her hospital bed, she was even smiling with the doctor attending to her,
- I was there, my younger brother was there, my older cousin was there, we were there by her side, the doctor attending to her left,
- Few minutes after the doctor left, mummy closed her eyes,
- We immediately rushed and called the doctors to the situation, the brought their machine for CPR, the machine couldn't detect her pulse/vitals,
- She was pronounced dead after several efforts.
- I couldn't believe I just saw mummy die before my eyes,
- My younger brother went nuts right there in the hospital, my older cousin shed tears, his eyes were red, I was too shocked, I just sat down beside her body and held her hand for over an hour, she was 52years old.
- This memory plays in my head each day.

- My younger brother was never himself After mummy's passing,
- He developed some kind of mental health issues, it was so bad for him,
- My younger brother became a complete shadow of himself, this is someone that is full of Life and energy when mummy was alive.
- Doctor said it was schizophrenia which was triggered due to the loss of a loved one as he was very close to her.

- With combined efforts, my younger brother slowly overcame the mental health issue,
- Each time I look at him, I'm so glad we rallied around for him, I am so glad I played my role and stood by him at that low point in his life, I'm filled with happiness each time I see him.

- Witnessing a loved one die in your presence is a scar for life, it can damage a person for Life.

You can share your experience if you wish, it is not an easy thing to talk about.

I was with my mom when she passed on that fateful day 2nd January 2002 when I was ust 18. It was not a good experience but it hardened my heart and made me a stronger man that I am today and ever since then I see death as a normal that's why till date no matter who it is that pass away, I see it as something normal.

As of the time of filing this report at 06:13am, none of the other candidates have won any local government.
It is expected. There's is serious hunger in the land and the present day govt are using the opportunity to impose themselves more and more on the people because the resources that comes from the govt coffers is unlimited and people really need stomach infrastructure to live. None of the other candidates could match the financial power of hopeless and this is why it will be difficult to have a credible and transparent election because a sitting gov is always ready to share taxpayers money to win reelection once you are in tandem with the oga at the top at so rock. 9ja still has a very long way to go because everybody is a suspect at this time unless there is a quick supreme intervention from the creator. Moh-Bad simply mean: I AM BAD.
That is the kind of person that more than 60% of Naija (yoots) seem to be giong haywire for.

Then suspecting & accusing one Naira Marley like that for his death who might even be innocent, when bad governance that has made life difficult for everybody stare at them in the eyes.
Lazy, stupid and useless youths everywhere.
That's my problem with the youths of 9ja, channeling their strength and energy to meaningless ventures. That's why buhari proudly referred to them as lazy because many are lazy in mind and spirit.

Gunmen you said.

They should go after the gunmen and not the unarmed. Otherwise the gunmen will continue to increase.
Free MNK as stated by a competent court of law they said no, advocate for his release unanimously by the so called state actors of the south east no way. Everybody is running to Lagos and Abuja even the governors thinking it's a safe haven no way. It's high time they all put their insatiable greed for national cake and come together to chat a way forward that will return the south east as the zone of peace and tranquility. We can't continue this way as this war brought upon the south east by their enemies will continue to breed more and more hardened fellows. If anyone have seen the amount of military presence, harassment and extortion in the south east particularly Imo state you will know the nation is in for doom.

Just imagine
A revolution is needed in this country to set things right
But you know the funny thing a revolution can not happen in Nigeria because tribalism is still very in our head

Ya all should fasten your seat belt...Nigeria is gonna get worse
We can no longer deceive ourselves..
Okay you all should imagine..fuel price increase and we heard it is gonna be increased to 700
Tertiary institution fee hike...elected officers salary to be increased by 114, 1k yearly car ownership certificate to be introduced..what about our normal car registration documents is that not enough evidence we own the car
Electricity hike is on its way
Nlc is a toothless bulldog and no protest anywhere
The people can not protest because it will be seen as fighting against a particular region because their son is the president
Same thing happened during end sars protest...the north did not participate because their son was the president
Maybe we should wait until a south south son becomes the president again then a protest can happen just like the way it happened during Jonathan subsidy removal
We should stop deceiving ourselves tribalism is ruining us in Nigeria
I concur with you serious revolution is needed to reset the brains of every being in this country.

Gov Hope uzodimma may not be a much loved Governor among vast majority of Imolites, owing to the situation associated to his emergence, but he has brased all odds to walk himself into the hearts of Imolites.

Undertaking federal projects like Owerri -Orlu road and Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia federal highways.

This will surely open up Imo and bring more developments to the state

He has won the hearts of many. If not that criminal Rochas who damaged Imo, by now more developmental projects would have been undertaken

Igbos are the Endangered Species in Nigeria. They are Naturally hated. They are benefitting Less from the Federal Government but they built the most Magnificent structures in Nigeria. Go to their Villages and see structures you can't see in some towns in Nigeria. I always envy their Charisma for Development. They are the Most Civilized among the 3 Major ethnic groups in Nigeria. They cook and Eat quality Food even though they produce low quantities of food Crops.

Don't give up on if you love her. Go after her and let her know you are sorry if she feels what you guys did are wrong, you know they opposite sex want to hear you say 'I am sorry' and that settles it but next time get prepared and don't let the opportunity slip. It's high time Nigerians focus their minds on things that will benefit their future. Cooking for 200 hours would not add any benefits to my being or add extra money to my bank account so let's not exaggerate the matter as as their are many hidden and unknown talents that can do better than that. Nigeria and it's citizens are facing stiffer challenges than the talk of who holds the record for the longest cooking hours
