Shelumiel:Wow, is it so bad that you have to resort to this? Anyway, you can go ahead and degenerate to trading invectives. I thought could engage in intellectual argument, and learn from each other. But I have found out that you are beneath that tier. Whether you like it or not, nothing will happen to Israel from Russia. Just accept it. |
Whyem15:Tell that to Syria Whyem15:Those were cold war era intrigues. Russia supplied the S-300 to Syria and Iran, knowing fully well that Israel can still outmanoeuvre those defences. Even, Isreal can still hit targets in areas surrounded by the S-400, let alone the S-300. The relationship between Isreal and Russia is just beyond the comprehension of haters of Israel. |
Shelumiel:Action against Isreal by Russia is a pipe dream that is usually anticipated by those who hate Israel. The bitter truth for those who don't like Israel is that such pipe dream will never come to reality. Russia and Israel have great ties that's beyond the comprehension of those who don't like Israel. |
Shelumiel:Iran and Syria are artificial allies of Russia. Isreal and Russia have more commonalities. There are millions of Jews in Russia today - Jewish Russians |
Shelumiel:It was in response to your declaration that it seems Trump is pushing for war with Russia. Mark my words, this will not bring about any war between Russia and the US. |
Shelumiel:Sir, nothing will happen |
WASHINGTON) — President Donald Trump signed a proclamation on Monday recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, reversing more than a half-century of U.S. policy. Standing alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, Trump made formal a move he announced in a tweet last week. The president said it was time for the U.S. to take the step after 52 years of Israeli control of the strategic highlands on the border with Syria. Netanyahu had pressed for such recognition for months. Trump’s action gives him a political boost weeks before what’s expected to be a close Israeli election. Israel captured the Golan from Syria in the 1967 Mideast war but its sovereignty over the territory is not recognized by the international community. “Today, aggressive action by Iran and terrorist groups in southern Syria, including Hezbollah, continue to make the Golan Heights a potential launching ground for attacks against Israel — very violent attacks,” Trump said. “This should have been done numerous presidents ago,” Trump said. The two leaders met as the Israeli military was striking Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket that hit a house north of Tel Aviv and wounded seven people. “Israel is responding forcefully to this wanton aggression,” said Netanyahu, who planned to return to Israel to manage the attack following his meeting with Trump and other U.S. officials, including Vice President Mike Pence. He added: “Israel will not tolerate this. I will not tolerate it.” In a speech earlier Monday, Pence said the rocket attack “proves that Hamas is not a partner for peace.” Pence told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee that “Hamas is a terrorist organization that seeks the destruction of Israel, and the United States will never negotiate with terrorist Hamas.” The rocket destroyed a residential home in the farming community of Mishmeret, north of the city of Kfar Saba. The sounds of air raid sirens jolted residents of the Sharon area, northeast of Tel Aviv, from their sleep shortly after 5 a.m., sending them scurrying to bomb shelters. A strong sound of an explosion followed. The Israeli military quickly mobilized troops and called up reserves, setting the stage for a potential major conflagration shortly before Israel’s upcoming elections. Netanyahu arrived in Washington on Sunday for what was to have been a three-day visit. In his remarks, Pence also took issue with comments by Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., that he said were anti-Semitic. Omar, a first-term lawmaker who is one of two Muslim women in Congress, has alleged that congressional support for Israel reflected “allegiance to a foreign country” and that Israel “has hypnotized the world.” She also has accused Americans who support Israel of being bought off by campaign donations. “Anti-Semitism has no place in the Congress of the United States, and any member who slanders those who support the historic alliance between the United States and Israel with such rhetoric should not have a seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee,” Pence said. Venerable612:I also believed that the Court of Appeal is the last court for governorship elections in Nigeria. But I don't understand how and why Wike's own got to the Supreme Court? |
Goodplace:Abuja airport is easier. I think most of the issues people complain about are encountered in Lagos |
StarUp:Don't forget that PDP's candidate in Ogun state, Buruji Kashamu and Obasanjo are implacable enemies. So, Obasanjo has no interest in this. Obasanjo wanted Adebutu to be PDP's candidate, but the court gave it to his enemy, Buruji Kashamu |
VirginFinder:These ones are not Fulanis. They are Yorubas with strong Islamic orientation |
DavidEsq:Alright |
DavidEsq:It's well |
DavidEsq:Okay, business experience |
DavidEsq:Sir, could you please educate us more on the fashion home you mentioned. What is it all about. How can one begin, especially when one has no fashion experience at all? How propitious is it to start it in Abuja? Thanks |
kingemzy5:I still don't understand this word now being used in our political lexicon: deliver. Everyone including journalists and those even confessing themselves to be democrats have been talking about individuals delivering or failing to deliver a state or a local government. This is absurd to me. One individual doesn't 'deliver' a state or local government. The voters there do that. They vote in whom they want and vote out whom they don't want. It is democracy. The people decide. Not an individual. |
frankmoney:People were just being far from the bitter reality. Kwankwaso is just one human being and has only one vote |
xogagunuy:Where is the venue of the graphics training in Abuja. You posted the advert without listing the venue. Then how can those interested visit You? |
GoTV:El-rufai threatening people who have the technology to bomb Kaduna state into the abyss of perdition and wipe Kaduna state off the map is suicidal. |
rotvick:That picture was taken on the day Solomon Arase went to present him to Buhari after his appointment was announced. He was still AIG on that day. |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, i think we southern Christians are blowing El-rufai's statement out of proportion. What is the big deal in warning off intruders to stay away from your home or face death? Many of us hire security guards and wild dogs to guard against and possibly kill thieves in our various homes yet we Christians hypocritically condemned El-rufai for trying to protect our country and democracy from foreign interference. No Muslim leaders or groups have chastised El-rufai cos they saw through his undivided patriotism in defending his country's government but we southerners especially the igbos are crying wolf where there is none. Can a Nigerian diplomats in America dictate how they elect their leaders during elections? We Christians have a lot to learn from our Muslim counterparts instead of heating up the polity with nonsense statements
