Although these activities has had little effect to curb the increasing population of the LGBT community here in Nigeria, today we have Nigerians who have come out openly and declared their sexual status or preferences without fear of consequences.

Nigeria has and will always be the cradle of black civilization. Our cultural norms and values runs deep and far like the two rivers that transverse the length o the country. The African tradition frowns (this is even a mild term to describe it) upon homosexual activities. It sees it as barbaric and a taboo. Nigeria being largely religious also condemns the act on the premise of it being a sacrilege (a major sin) in the sight of God in all factions and ramification.
