In the bible, particularly in the old testament where tithe was mentioned, only farmers and those that owned animals paid tithes. Other workers like carpenters, builders, etc never paid tithe. If they are now saying these requests are outrageous, why did they sign it? (note that the 2009 strike lasted for three months, this is already more than 3 months and we've had far longer strikes so it couldnt have been pressure, besides it wasnt election time).
On cost cutting, I'm happy u know its half hearted, if indeed the country is broke, dont you think its an indictment on the govt if they are doing the cost reduction half heartedly because of politics? If indeed they are cutting costs, kudos to the govt but we need to see more.
Imagine this, the president comes out to say they are putting up half the presidential fleet for sale (I stand to be corrected, I think they are more than 5), the sale is done publicly and the money realised is put into a project with a short life cycle say 3 to 6 months. Also imagine if gej stays in the country for 3 months without travelling. I know governance is not so straight forward but I believe these two things are doable. He would have played 'politics' with cost cutting and it will be to his advantage.

Which useless agreement? Have you ever seen the 2009 agreement? Do you know what it contains? Is it the same as the 2003 agreement they are demanding from the FG? ASUU will be disgraced soon.
