@all4naija, what makes u think that Israel will not use their nukes sometimes in the future. The only just thing to do is declare and enforce a nuclear free zone.

Imagine ur pastor bringing a whor.e to church on one sunday morning , steps to the pulpit preaching againt fornication whilst bleeping the hell out the wh.ore.

Thats exactly what israel is doing. why attack another nation cos of (Suspicion) of making nuclear weapons while u have illegal un-declared stock piles of nukes.

Iran only intends building civilian nuclear capacity, presently they are yrs behind nuclear weapons capacity, with no evidence of a weaponization program.
Foreign Affairs › Israel Iran Nuclear Double Standard by TheOP1(op): 7:11pm On Nov 10, 2012
n a recent article, Tom Anderson
argued that Israeli fears of a nuclear Iran
are not, contrary to what I had previously
written, based on the possible direct
existential threat Iran poses but rather on
the fact that it would trigger a nuclear arms
race in the region. Although I disagree that
the first factor plays no role in Israeli fears
(simply check the Israeli rhetoric and the
amount of times the Holocaust and Nazism
are mentioned), I do concede that the
second factor is prominent as well. But then
I ask: why do we criticise one country’’s
nuclear program and not another
country’’s actual possession of nuclear
weapons? And why do we think that one
country’’s nuclear program will lead to a
nuclear arms race and while another’s will
not? I am of course referring to Israel’’s
nuclear arsenal.
The double standards through which we
judge Iran and Israel’’s respective cases
take three distinct shapes. Firstly, Iran’’s
nuclear program is judged illegal since it
violates the International Atomic Energy
Agency’’s (IAEA) treaty which enables
inspectors to examine any premises
deemed suspect. It is quickly forgotten that
Israel also refused to open all of its facilities
to such inspections. This resulted not only
in the violation of IAEA regulations but also
of US domestic law. According to the 1976
Symington clause of the Foreign Assistance
Act, any US administration must cut off
economic and military aid to any country
which imports uranium enrichment
technology or materials without accepting
the safeguards of IAEA on its nuclear
facilities. Needless to say, all the US
administrations since the Act was passed
have continued to support Israel.
Furthermore, in 1985 an American was
indicted by the Los Angeles court for
transporting 800 high-speed electron
switches (known as krytons) used in
triggering mechanisms in atomic
weapons to Israel. Perhaps the most
famous case of illegal acquisition of nuclear
material was “Operation Plumbat” where
the Mossad, Israel’s secret service, hijacked
a German ship directed to the Italian port of
Genoa stealing 200 tons of yellowcake.
Secondly, Israel’’s nuclear program which
ultimately led to the acquisition of a nuclear
arsenal was undemocratic. Decisions were
undertaken by selected ministers behind
closed doors without the approval of the
whole Knesset which was kept in the dark.
In 1950, 310,000 Israelis, or 40% of the
population at the time, signed the
Stockholm Appeal initiated by the World
Peace Council demanding the outlawing of
nuclear weapons. Their appeal fell on deaf
ears. More interestingly, when Ben Gurion
was asked by the Eisenhower
administration about the Dimona nuclear
reactor, where the nuclear weapons
program was secretly being carried out, he
replied that it was a textile plant, effectively
lying to the US President and the
international community just like
Ahmadinejad is suspected of doing now.
Thirdly, Israel is reportedly the only country
in the Middle East to have ever officially
considered using nuclear weapons against
another country within the region, twice. In
1973, Golda Meir, the then Prime Minister,
gave Moshe Dayan permission to activate
nuclear weapons in case Egypt invaded
Israel. Her command was tainted with
religious talk since she expressed her fear
that Egypt might have ended “The Third
Temple”. Use of nuclear weapons justified
through religious analogies: sounds like
religious fundamentalism as defined by the
contemporary Israeli administration and its
supporters. The second time Israeli political
leaders thought of using their nuclear
arsenal against a country in the region was
in 1982 when Sharon proposed to attack
Syria using nuclear weapons.
Some argue that Israel is not violating any
international agreement by detaining a
nuclear arsenal because it did not sign the
Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). This
is an immoral and unjust argument since by
the same standards we should also not be
allowed to hold accountable governments
committing crimes against humanity simply
because they have not signed treatises
where they explicitly promise not to do so.
Let alone that the mere fact of not being a
signatory of the NPT rouses serious
questions about Israel’’s ethical credibility
on international affairs.
The fact of the matter is that Western
governments and anyone who is
committed to their view of an
imminent “Iranian threat” is judging Iran
using double standards: Israel having a
nuclear arsenal is legitimate while Iran
trying to acquire one is not. More
importantly, what this view fails to
appreciate is that it is not Iran which is
going to spark the desire for nuclear
weapons within the Middle East. This desire
has already been sparked by Israel’s
acquisition of a nuclear arsenal, by its
repeatedly manifested belligerence and by
the warranted perception of Israel as a
country above the law. Indeed, in a
poll conducted in the first half of 2011 by
the Arab Centre for Research and Policy
Studies (ACRPS) where 16,731 individuals
from 12 Arab countries were interviewed,
55% of the respondents stated that Israel’s
possession of WMD justifies the possession
of WMD by other countries in the region
and 73% see Israel and the US as the
biggest threats. If Israel is seriously worried
about a nuclear arms race then it should
initiate open negotiations with other Middle
Eastern governments and aim for an
agreement promising the dismantlement of
its nuclear arsenal in return for nuclear
non-proliferation
Foreign Affairs › Re: Iranian Jets Fire On US Drone by TheOP1(m): 6:30pm On Nov 10, 2012
Nuclear weapons are so easy to make that
no determined nation can be forcibly
prevented from making them short of
regime change imposed by invasion and
military occupation. That, apparently, is one
of the options the Pentagon still has on the
table for dealing with Iran, and the only one
that would work.
Short of that, Israel may have to learn to live
with the threat of nuclear annihilation by
Iran, just as every Middle East nation has had
to live with the threat of nuclear annihilation
by Israel for the past four decades. It is hard
to imagine a bombing campaign that would
eliminate Iran's ability to produce nuclear
weapons. If Israel bombs Iran it will be
merely an attempt to drag the U.S. into an
all-out war with Iran.
It is worth noting that Iran is still a ratified
member of the Treaty on the Non-
Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and claims
that all its nuclear activities are peaceful and
are allowed under the Treaty, accusations
that Iran is cheating notwithstanding.
Meanwhile, Israel openly defies the Treaty by
refusing to sign it.
An even-handed approach, with a better
chance of success than the current saber
rattling, is for the U.S. to remove its nuclear
weapons from Turkey and tell Israel to lose
its nukes and sign the Treaty.
In that case, pressure on Iran will be aimed
at preserving a nuclear-weapons-free Middle
East, not preserving a U.S.-Israeli nuclear
weapons monopoly in the region, as it is
today.

As the face of the TV station and part of his deal, Pawpaw had to shoot this

@cyrexx

Exactly my thoughts. There are billoins of people on earth who do not believe in God let alone Follow the "True Religion" but are none the less Intelligent enough to see the truth If any.

Why Does God have to be a mystery , why does he want us to believe in him.

Why cant we know him like many other Universal truths Like the earth revolves round the sun?

Why cant it be common knowledge instead of a mystery?

Does he really want evryone to believe in him?
Why doesnt he minister to us all by hi,self instead of sending Men some of whom are liers?
Christianity Etc › Re: Dilemma : Is GOD a Trinity by TheOP1(m): 1:16am On Oct 09, 2012
I did like answers to the following questions:

1. Can God die?
2. Did jesus die?
3. Did jesus raise himself up?
4. Who were the jews expecting; a prophet like unto moses or Jehovah himself?
5. Why werent the Jews aware of the coming of the almighty Jehovah to the earth.
6. Before the advent of Christ were the Men of God or Prophets aware of the Triune nature of Jehovah, I mean If God doesnt change why wud the First fundermental belief change?
7. What is the meaning of the word Begotten and its implication on the nature of christ (N.B the bible also refers to him as the First born of all creation).
8. On the cross when he said " Father forgive them for they know not what they do" why didnt he say instead " I forgive You for Ye do not know what Ye are doing", If he had the authority?

9. Was the Devil aware that the man Jesus was one and the same God that banished him from heaven, If so can the devil attempt to tempt God?

frosbel: Indeed , and this prophet was referring to Christ Jesus.
If the almighty was coming to earth himself this would have made an excellent opportunity to describe The Coming Being As Himself , rather he says - "and he will tell them everything I command him" .

My question is if the Prophet in this prophecy is God, can God recieve command from Himself?
Christianity Etc › Re: Do You Think Jesus Is God? If Yes Then Answer These Questions by TheOP1(m): 11:31pm On Oct 05, 2012
Also the old testament abound with lots of fulfilled and unfulfilled prophecies.

A visitation as great as Yahwah the creator himself coming to the earth in form of a man to die for three days should have been clearly prophecized and eagerly awaited by the Jews the people God had sent many a prophet to.
But we all know they were expecting No God, they expecting a Man anoited by God to lead them aright.

For example:
God approves of Moses (as),and promises
to send another prophet like him:
Deuteronomy 18:18
I will raise up for them a prophet like you
from among their brothers; I will put my
words in his mouth, and he will tell them
everything I command him.

2. Did Jesus die?
Islam › Re: Muslims Fight To Defend Their Prophet And Christians Dont? by TheOP1(m): 6:57pm On Oct 03, 2012
Ochek: And then, you are missing the point again and again.
The word "christian" or christianity as we are refering to was first used in the new testament. That was after Jesus had come and gone. Your instants all pre-date Jesus's existance.
Then I will ask you the following questions:

1. Do christians worship the God of old testament?
2. Did the God of the old testament fight his own battles or used Humans?

3. Did the God of the old testament give Kill orders on the unbelievers at any point in time?

4. If you agree that Moses was a prophet of God , If you were born during the time of Moses would you have accepted the blasphemy law to kill.

5. Do you worship the same God that gave an order to kill the Amalekite women children and cattle.
Is he the same God of the new testament?
Islam › Re: Holy Amnesia - A Solution To Islamic Relgious Violence. by TheOP1(op): 5:59pm On Oct 03, 2012
Another example of "Religious Evolution" is when the christians make statement as " Our God is a consuming fire he can fight for himself" , "God doesnt need humans to fight his battles" e.t.c

Ask the people ( Amalekite women, children and cattle) who were killed on the order of Jehovah whether their killers were humans or angels?

God fights his battle my foot.

When david killed goliath, why didnt he just sit down and do nothing; waiting for the hosts of heaven to do the killing.
Islam › Re: Holy Amnesia - A Solution To Islamic Relgious Violence. by TheOP1(op): 5:46pm On Oct 03, 2012
The idea behind my post is this :-
Judaism and christianity have both had their "Very Bloody Past" and have now settled for "Religious moderation".

Islam is however still in it's bloody era , with time they will also embrace religious moderation and turn a blind eye to it's violent past and injuctions (like the present jews and christians).
This I call "Holy Amnesia".

For example - The jews ,who do not believe in the less violent new testament do not practice the blasphemy laws as espoused in old testement, this injuction hasnt change since they do not believe in the more recent Gospel of christ, but they will be quick to point accusing finger at the muslims blasphemy law calling their Allah blood thirsty (Turning a blind eye to the similar blasphemy law in the torah ) which they no more practice.

Given this violent legacy in religion lets compare the
brutality quotient of the Quran and the Bible.

Defense Vs. Total Annihilation
Much to my surprise, the Islamic
scriptures in the Quran were actually far less bloody
and less violent than those in the Bible.

Violence in the Quran, is
largely a defense against attack.
"By the standards of the time, which is the
7th century A.D., the laws of war that are
laid
down by the Quran are actually
reasonably humane.

Then we turn to the
Bible, and we actually find something that is for many people a real surprise.
There is a specific kind of warfare laid down in the
Bible which we can only call genocide.

It is called herem, and it means total annihilation. Consider the Book of 1
Samuel,
when God instructs King Saul to attack the
Amalekites: "And utterly destroy all that
they
have, and do not spare them," God says
through the prophet Samuel. "But kill both
man and woman, infant and nursing
child,
ox and sheep, camel and donkey."
When Saul failed to do that, God took
away
his kingdom.
"In other words, Saul has
committed a dreadful sin by failing to
complete genocide. And that passage
echoes through Christian history. It is
often
used, for example, in American stories of
the
confrontation with Indians — not just is it
legitimate to kill Indians, but you are
violating God's law if you do not."
The history of Christianity
is strewn with herem. During the
Crusades
in the Middle Ages, the Catholic popes
declared the Muslims Amalekites. In the
great religious wars in the 16th, 17th and
19th centuries, Protestants and Catholics
each believed the other side were the
Amalekites and should be utterly
destroyed.

'Holy Amnesia'
But even though the Bible is
violent, Christianity and Judaism today are
not for the most part.
"What happens in all religions as they
grow
and mature and expand, they go through
a
process of forgetting of the original
violence, and I call this a process of holy
amnesia.

Its only a matter of time before Islam loses its violent side.

Judek2: Many differences there are, deleting the link between Muslim god and Christian God...

Yahweh has a son, while Allah doesn't. (expurgated trails reveals he has three daughters anyway).

Yahweh's book is the Bible while Allah's book is the Koran.

Yahweh's house is the Church, while Allah's house is the mosque.

Following Yahweh, there is nothing like marriage or canal knowledge in Paradise, while with Allah, you're entitled to not less than 72 wives in Al Janah.

Yahweh does not commission killing, no matter what provocation, while Allah does, provided its when necessary (archaistic), or on self defense (modernized)..

Anything you can think makes a huge difference. So, the world are mainly in belief of Two different gods and doctrines..
I keep saying it , the best thing christians is to totally diisown the old testament. You suffer from selective amnesia when you say Yahwah did not commision Killing. On whose orders then did moses an pips kill?

Cheaters: An infamous reality series , on the prowl to catch adulterous individuals
red-handed. Hosted by relationship
psychologist Joey Greco, this outrageous
show captures all the rage and passion of
two-timing partners as they try to deny their
betrayal or blame their other halves for their
actions.
A team of private
investigators follow sneaky individuals and
fit secret cameras around their homes to
keep a beady eye on what goes on when their partners are out.

Discretion and tact
are never allowed to get in the way of a good cat-fight on this show, and the
suspicious partners are shown the steamy
evidence against their naughtier halves
before being led by the crew to confront
them.
People who think their significant other is
cheating on them hire a hidden camera
crew to investigate their suspicions.

With the rate of infidelity in relationships and marriages in Nigeria; a situation where a man fathers four children 3 of which were ser'ed by his gateman.

How effective will the above arrangement be in Nigeria and what will be the reaction of a cheating Nigerian spouse with all the cameras and eyes when caught red-handed?
