A man has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife to death over her refusal to have sex with him, Reports.

The niece of the dead woman narrated the incident to On Facebook, while calling for justice for her mother's twin sister.

According to the niece, the suspect waa in the habit of beating his wife. On June 27, the woman, Mrs Ugieki Asemota returned home from a wedding to find her husband drunk, so she had a bath and locked herself in a room to avoid getting beaten which is allegedly her husband's habit when he's drunk.

However, late at night, the husband is said to have banged on her door, demanding sex but she told him to go to his room and leave her alone, Learnt.

When he wouldn't leave and she could sense him becoming violent, afraid of what would happen if he eventually enters the room, the wife is said to have jumped out of her room through a window.

However, the husband allegedly went after her and attacked her, hitting her with wood and a block until she bled and fainted.

She was rushed to the hospital but died last week, Reports.

The husband has been arrested.

Imo state police say they have re-arrested four suspects in connection with kidnapping and robbery in the state, stating that two of the suspects are fleeing inmates of Nigeria Correctional Centre, Imo state who escaped in the jailbreak that occurred earlier in the year in Owerri Imo state, ABN TV reports.

The arrest of one of the fleeing inmates, Eze kelvin "M" age 30 native of Uga in Aguata LGA of Anambra State but resident in Orji in Owerri North LGA of Imo State followed a reported case of kidnap against him.

CSP Michael Abattam SA Media to the Commissioner of Police in the state in a statement says the suspect confessed to belonging to a kidnapping syndicate that has been terrorising Imo state and its environs.

He said the suspect later led the Tactical teams of the command, after a diligent and robust technical intelligence gathering, to their hideout in Enugu State where three members of his gang namely, Raphael Nnamdi "M" an ex-convict, age 28 years of Ozu Okizu in Oyi LGA of Anambra, Johnson Ahanonu "M" another escapee of Imo correctional Home, age 36 years of Obilibi Mbeiri Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, were all arrested in D and D BOSPORUS HOTEL AND SUITES Enugu.

"On interrogation, the three suspects confessed to have been kidnappers and are responsible for most of the kidnapping cases in the state including, the recent kidnapping of one Ozuzu Ekelezie "M", Osuji Gladjoan "F " and Onwuauaka Ugonna " F" all resident in Owerri, lmo state. When the three suspects were further interrogated they admitted having firearms and led the Tactical teams to their Armoury in the house of one Monday surname unknown, who is presently, on the run, at Izombe in Oguta LGA Imo State where two (2) Pump Action Guns with twenty (20) rounds of live cartridges were recovered. The tactical teams are on the trail of the fleeing members of the gang.

"The Commissioner of Police, Cp Abutu Yaro, fdc , commended the officers and men of the command for their efforts in combating violent crimes in the state and warn all jailbreakers to return back to the Imo correctional Home forthwith or face unforeseen consequences. Meanwhile, he commended the good people of Imo State for their undaunting support and solicit for an all society approach to sustain the already improved security situation in the state" the statement added.

I am in dire need of support from people who have travel experience.
When I say travel experience, I mean people who has relocated from Nigeria completely.

I will be 30 next month, single (have always hated the idea of marrying any lady in Nigeria because I have been unlucky with most of them i met as they seem complicated, inconsequential, dishonest and inexposed).

To make this short, I spent a lot of my youth working so hard to save enough money with the mindset to relocate from Nigeria as Nigeria depresses me alot.

I have been able to save nearly 20 million naira, excluding investments running in millions i wish to put on cargo to ship wherever I wish to relocate to.

Now, my problem is finding a suitable location or environment where i can relocate to without stress and problems.

Note that, I do not intend to work for anyone as I have my own skills.

United States, United Kingdom are out of my plans as I have realised their system are not built to favour me or my type of person and seem more like stress and a slavery environment to me.

I applied for Canada visa with hope to get work permit but has been on hold for months as they have been on lockdown since.

Having lived in South Africa before for a short while and felt like home there, I had it as an option but I am at crossroads, if I can have better suggestions from experienced people here.

Also, if anywhere in Europe is advisable (remember I do not wish to work for anyone except part time, in my field or if must require me to get a work visa)

Please I need advice.

I met a man here on nairaland that nearly or should I say took advantage of me and made me nearly commit an abomination which I nearly did. I wanted to keep this to my self till he sent me a message this last night again

I'm 29 and a very handsome man. I have a young family with a beautiful wife that I don't even think I deserve because she is an Angel and I have 2 beautiful girls that means everything to me.

I lost my Job during the pandemic last year and it has been hard getting another Job and it's even harder watching my kids starve and my beautiful wife cry at night

I know my responsibility as a man and top most is me providing for my girl's and their Mom.

My wife have been shouldering the feeding responsibility at home since March because after i paid my girls school fee in February my account became empty

Even though my wife does everything she has never been rude to me or shown me the normal "Nigerian" women attitude

She has never denied me sex or spoke to me rudely since August of last year. She meets men, richer men that wants a relationship with her but this lovely woman tells me all, she even gives me her phone to chat with them

In all of this I kept on looking for a job because I feel like I'm failing my girls

On Monday I was in a thread here on nairaland and I made a post that I needed a job so badly and I got an email from here and I replied the email and I and the person started talking and he invited me to his office in the island

I was excited, baby was excited and the girl's were excited as well and I got to his office the next day which was on Tuesday and I submitted my CV to him and he went through it and was impressed and we spoke even more and he said something to me 'what can you do to get this job' and I said anything because I need to start providing for my wife and the girl's as I was feeling the pressure from home and he said something again. 'You are very handsome and I would want us to be closer and if you agree to this you would get even more than a job

Then he told me his office would get back to me and he gave me #15k as transportation and while I was heading home he texted me and said if I'm free tomorrow he would like to see me

My mind told me something was off , I knew but I just couldn't imagine or believe something of that nature could happen to me, I replied his text and told him I would be free and he told me he would get back to me and Wednesday morning he sent me a text that we should meet in one of the biggest hotels in lekki

I asked him why an hotel and he said he has an appointment with a client and he would want me to see the client with him so he accesses my ability In convincing a client to partner with us

Then I got to the hotel by 10am and I called him I was there and he invited me to his room and when I got in it seemed odd

There were 2 glass and a bottle of wine and we started talking and we spoke a lot while we drank and I actually felt comfortable around him and we started talking family and he told me his wife and kids are in America

Then when it got to my turn I told him about Nike and my girls and I got very emotional and started shedding some tears because I'm failing my family even tho it's not my fault, even though I look for job everywhere and every day both on jobberman and LinkedIn and Twitter and Facebook

Then he told me how much I want the job and I said so badly and he said what can I do to get the job I said anything and he said what can I do to get a job of #150k per month gosh that broke me and I said anything at all and right there he called his personal assistant to draft an employment letter in my name and add a salary of #150k

We continued talking and he told me how much I had left in my account I told him just 3k because I gave wifey the rest of the money he gave to me to prepare something for the kids

Some few minutes later he brought out a bundle of cash and told me it's mine and the employment letter in his email which he showed me if only he has sex with me

I was stunned and astonished and didn't no what to do
