Jobs/Vacancies / Re: What Is Wrong With A Bearded Bears To A Job Interview by TheProfe: 8:54am On Dec 19, 2016
westlius:
notin is really wrong do as long as its neat I went to a job interview with beards luckily d GM has beards also and I got d job not cos of d beards do cos of my appearance and d way I answered questions
I had a similar experience when I was to move into the Oil and Gas sector.
I was very busy and couldn't shave my beards before the final interview. This made me very uncomfortable initially but I just tried to calm myself.
On getting there, I realised the GMD kept his beards full, just like mine. This was in contrast to his pictures online where he shaved clean... I felt comfortable and answered the questions...
In my opinion, just don't keep a funny looking beard or goatee

Why do I think it should be 1/4 ?
You guys are mixing up things here o.
I believe Zahra is on point.... She only typed a caption in line with her thoughts and our African beliefs againt polyandry .. She's free to air her mind..We therefore should let her be.
If that Indimi guy posts the same thing, we may then attack him cos we know that will be the LIE OF THE YEAR based on the antecedent of the Indimis.

Funny enough, you made a veeeery valid point about the guy not posting anything about her online.
If only she'll keep it low-key and work towards building a home that is different from the ones previously built by the Indimis which collapsed eventually

Guess people are commenting based on what we know about the Indimi family and the trend in their marriages

[quote author=Mimzyy post=51731417]It is really pathetic.

It is only in Nigerian churches that the pastor/G.O. will have numerous bodyguards and will tell his members to buy anointing water for protection over their lives.

How ironic.

It just seems like an unnecessary financial outlay to me though. What greater comfort would she really gain from the new car over her 2014 range rover sport to warrant spending 70 mill.

Well, it is her jare earned money and she can spend it anyhow she likes....I just hope she pays her employees well.

The quote above was EXACTLY what ran through my mind while I was reading the story.
I hope she's not one of those "happening" proprietors who pay peanuts as staff remuneration but lavish money on flamboyant lifestyle...

6. The residential area is very organised and residents enjoy the best public health care system and public schools.

From what you posted, you are referring to NLNG Industrial Area (IA) as well as it's Residential Area (RA).
Asides from the Shell facility as well as Mobil facility, the rest of Bonny and Finima are really not special.

In addition, you only get a temporary visitor's pass with touch of Yellow from NLNG's HRP unit and not Visa.

1. She's a Pharmacist and typicallty won't find it difficult getting a job.
2. Kano state government might offer her a job
3. To have spent such an amount on community project while serving, it's glaring she has some strong financial backbone.

pamelga:
It's not the main focus but it's important I start considering it...I'm a guy and based in Lagos.

Yes, you should be able to raise a small family with 70k provided certain conditions are in place:
1. You don't have extended family members to cater for.
2. Your transportation cost is fair, say 10% of your entire salary.
3. Your wife is able to support the family financially.

But above all, there's a place called HIGHER. As a result, believe God for great open doors.
He's a God that can change your story for good just within days before or after the wedding.

All the best Bro.

Many issues have overshadowed her matter. Issues like the prices of Dollar, Rice and Recession of our Economy.

Your comment is quite apt.

The economic situation of the country e.g. daily fall of the naira against other currencies, hike in cost of basic food items, hike in customs tarrif from N282 to N313 etc are more than enough to occupy our discourse.

As such, we'd rather discuss APC's propaganda than discuss our dear Jumoke.

Maybe after we've overcome the present challenges, we may want to beam our searchlight on what's been happening to her.

Pls pls pls can someone tell this dude and infact most Nigerians that ITS NOT ABOUT THE AGE AT WHICH YOU MARRY.
You can get married at sweet 22 and be stuck in a terrible marriage for life, and can marry at 50 be so happy and in love.

It aint about the age its about:
1) If you are psychologically mature for marriage
2) If you find the right compatible partner.

Gosh

Please correct me if I'm wrong, this is her second wedding/marriage.
If yes, then why the fuss??
She should just do it quietly, avoid undue attention and ask God for wisdom to build her home.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Should I Pay Him N500,000 For A Job? by TheProfe: 8:49am On Aug 20, 2016
judeibro:
I graduated since 2012 and have been searching for job since then. Though I stopped the search and I am gathering money from a small laundry business I am running to see if I could raise enough money to register to be a bet agent and start a bet shop this new football season, together with MMM hustle. On thursday last week precisely, I ran into an old course mate of mine who is now a customs officer, he was even on his uniform. I was surprised and inquired how he got into Nigeria customs knowing how difficult it is getting in there. He gave me detailed gist about an Hausa man who happens to be a top customs officer, he met three years ago in his business center, helped him got the job. We exchanged contact and he promised to contact the man to see if he could assist me to get one of the replacement slots.

The issue now is that he introduced me to the man as promised and I got to contact the man and he gave me his official email account and instructed I send my CV and photocopies of my credentials to him via email, which I did. Today he called me to tell me, he has 4 slots for replacement scheduled for October, (that some officers who are due for retirement will be leaving by the end of september) that I should pay him N500,000 (five hundred thousand naira),N50,000 (fifty thousand Naira) down payment and N450,000 when I get my appointment letter and start work. I contacted my friend and he told me I shouldn't worry, that he will loan me the N50,000 to pay him, but I should hustle the remind balance to pay him immediately I land the job.

My friend has sent the N50,000 into my account today to my greatest surprise, but I don't know where to get the balance N450,000 b4 the end of september and I don't want to go back to my friend that just assisted me with N50,000. I need advice if it is advisable to take a loan for such venture and where can one get such loan. Pls your opinion please, because I am kind of confused here. I need a job badly.

Chief.. if the Hausa man has asked you to pay the N450k balance after the deal has pulled through and the initial deposit of N50k could easily be taken care of by your friend... I'm wondering, what exactly is your concern

I expect that you'd receive monthly remuneration upon resumption and should be able to service the N450k at that point.

Given these assumptions, I could say you really have no course to fear.

Please let us know if there are other atttached "conditionalities".

What do you mean by "if she actually caused the fire"? Is she PHCN that supplied unregulated current, thereby causing power surge?

There is nothing like negligence here. If I decide to leave my appliances on, na me go pay the electricity bills. Blame the gaddem power company for supplying overcurrent or even the owner of the house for using substandard wiring cables.

Common sense requires us to put off certain electrical appliances in our absence especially if we are going to be away from the vicinity for hours.
