And dare I tell you that not a lot of people are concerned with the looks, yes, different strokes for different folks - some might be attracted to looks while some aren't, some have particular things they fall for in women.

Dating  a woman from different race even if she's fat and ugly depends on what you see or what possibly triggers your fancy but I'm sure they have their reasons and that's not because they hold any sort of power. Most times it's due to the fact that you think you want to try something new and find out what you can come up with

Picture this: My friend went to Lagos and on his way back, he saw this girl who was supposedly 'stranded' at a gas station. He actually went there to refill and buy some refreshments, and here was standing this beautiful chic (as he described her and he doesn't fail assessments). He helped her by picking her up, fortunately for her, they were heading in the same direction to the same city. She said she was going to visit a friend around there and doesn't know her way around.

My friend kindly dropped her off at the exact place she was going; they exchanged numbers and they kept in touch for that day. The next day, she called him that she needs to be shown around town and needed him to do that, he obliged and went there to pick her up. Some hours later she said she wants to buy some stuff at the boutique. They both went there. She picked what she wants and do you know she was expecting my friend to pay? He didn't bulge an eye - acted completely as if he was naive of what she's doing - the girl then came up to him to actually ask him to pay. How ridiculous He told me and I gave him a solution and that's not going to be pretty if I tell it on NL

Yes, that's true with the evolution of intellectual prowess in the western world. Well, as I suppose, there are lots of better things to emulate from which is what I'm trying to point out. You see, in every generation, the newer looks up to the older for directions - maybe not directly but they somehow copycat the older and follow ditto what they do with a few modifications which they nowadays call civilization.

You want to talk about campus girls engaged in 'aristo' business - well, you need to ask their older sisters how they have carefully demonstrated their predilection for fancy things they can't afford in ten years; they should explain to you how they were able to afford the fancy apartment they live in school where they invite their younger sisters to visit with them at.

This is where the problem starts: they want to have what they can't afford that they see on TV. They want to live Hollywood in Nollywood.
