@TheSeeker or anybody. look at the above you posted earlier. How can I quote someone like that ?

Usually I just copy and paste the text then insert Quote. if you get what I mean.

check my previous response and see what i mean. thanks
Yeah, just as Lexi has rightly said. If it doesn't work let me know so I show you a screen shot. cool

whitelexi:
Bro, you took that right out of the top drawer!!!

I decided not to take it to that level for obvious reasons, but i'm glad to know that i am not alone in that understanding.

The problem with Naija men is we often place looks ahead of other attributes of a woman, and when we see certain things, we feel "Thats the shit!", but the shit is usually in the brain and mind so we often end up quite defrauded in the end grin grin grin
I have said it several times, if you got something to say go ahead and say it. What's not taking it to what level for some obvious reasons? Abeg angry grin

I'd like to admit that look is somewhat important, but not very. I don't suppose you'll choose to date a lady with protruded incisors, instead you'd rather date someone sexier that you 'think' you can refine later into what is most likely close to who you want, given that she's a nasty girl that is - and when you want to say she's nasty, you gotta be sure or she'll be crying you're trying to change her.

Some (very few) Nigerian girls are very smart, and as it seems the younger generations are beginning to overtake the older generations in terms of intelligence, but it appears the latter are influence the former which is very pathetically saddening.

If i talk, dem go kill me grin grin grin

But i go talk am!!! cool

Nairaland chicks are mostly small girls, so as u would expect, the vast majority of them are childish with their thinking and their actions.
The others are very interesting and nice. However, the level of sarcasm levels are still very high, and sometimes border on the frenetic. . . You have to still give it up to the few who make the majority look good. grin grin grin
I couldn't have said it better, and let me quickly add, there are some supposed old girls who act like they are 15; but don't be surprised that some of these very young teenagers are actually very intelligent that you'd think they are in their almost late 20's, while some of them are still acting within the precinct of their intellectual capacity, sadly, some older females border in this region sad

A couple of them are cool, very intelligent and endearing personalities. Some are fun, some aren't, but somewhat the ones I've been able to speak with are very interesting people. . . . as for some, I reserve my comments until the stage gets hotter.

dakkylove:
I just want to clear up one major issue, she did not marry him for his wealth.
they met when he was serving and he was driving a blue bird(or whatever they call it) and staying in his brother's 3 bedroom apartment.
he is her first love and she refused to let him go when he turned into a monster after he started making small money from clearing and forwarding at the port and carrying chicks.

he comes from a wealthy home true, but honestly i did not see the effect of this, his father is quite stingy, maybe he gives him some money but honestly apart from the fact that they live in their own Duplex , the so called money does not show.

she just fell stupidly in love(i don't really understand this first love nonsense) but if a man treats you like dirt when you are dating he will not change when you get married.

i told her this for several years and to her credit she left him at some point, but later he came back and said he wanted to marry her and he was now a changed person, the poor girl actually believed him.

so goes her story i don't want to keep on rationalizing her behaviour, i fully appreciate the blogger who said i should involve the Church.
that is what i intend to do.
maybe ladies can learn from this, the monster you meet when you are dating will not turn to a saint because you are married.
I don't want to discredit God's existence, eminence or power, but I think he's given us brain to think properly. There's no church matter in all these, I see a mad man who will kill his wife very soon. Go to to the churches today and see how enormous the number of abused women is, and how many of them are still 'waiting' on the Lord to change their husbands. Truth be told, there's nothing that God has to do with this. Some people need be taken care of and shown that the sun doesn't rise and set on them.

Don't give me that 'first love' crap!!! No woman wants discomfort and unless she's under some kind of influence no sane woman in this 21st century will stay with a man who abuses her, not when she has a lot of options. So tell me, if you go to church, what happens? God comes down and touch his heart because He didn't see that before? The pastor will come and talk to him? What will happen? I just need to know where you're coming from with the church solution because it doesn't make sense. It's often said that, "Heaven help those who help themselves,"

It's a normal thing to beat women in their family, and what kind of family is that? First of all, her mom is a blind fool. Where and how the heck in this new world will a mom ask her daughter to go back to where she's beaten all the time? Poor and stupid parenting. Because of the kids? Why can't he consider the kids before beating his wife? How sure are we that he's not doing it in the presence of these kids? This is violation at every ramification.

As her friend, I think you have a little bit of say on this issue but that depends on how close you are; you know each other a lot better, and I think you're one of those should know a little bit of her private life especially where matters like these are involved. First of all, a dog will always be a dog, and so is a pig. There's no point waiting for the man to change, of course, if he doesn't like I sure hope he won't, there are other steps that could be taken. Stealthily - without the knowledge of anyone (including your friend) - hire two soldiers and tell them the story, give them some money and I'm sure they will help sort him out, but do remember to tell them not to kill him but put him in his place or probably give him an everlasting damage.

On the other side, a more civil manner, I think she has to leave. She can leave the other grown (or not grown) kids with him to cater for; she has the obligation, only for right now, to look after the 3-month old baby. But she can't do this alone. She needs someone to make her see that she's going to be killed soon, and when it is all over, the kids she's trying to get killed for will be maltreated by another woman - or worse, the kids will be street kids hawking pure water. Her mom - unapologetically - is a first class graded fool, and who knows maybe she's getting something from the man's family or they are being intimidated by their wealth, influence or whatnot. Because, I don't see why a parent, especially a mom, will watch her daughter on the brim of being killed. . . . . Nigeria with their caveman mentality of marriage being a union of enduring perseverance. Ile oko, ile eko ni my black ass! angry

That one would never let anyone come to harm when he can help it tongue grin
Yes, just as I don't want you to harm your reputation; telling her now will put you in a bad shape with her thinking you want to wreck her marriage, and to be honest, do you have a marriage going? No!! This is not what I'm saying, it's what she's going to think or tell her friends after you have finished your ranting.

What happens if you tell her, and she's like, "Thank you so very much, but he already told me and we've sorted it out. You see, he loves me and I love him so dearly; and nothing in the world will make me leave him."? I bet you'll walk away in shame wishing you never did talk.

type in System restore if prompted

the computer can turn back the hand of time

if date is not available should display

show restore older than 5 days days

click continue and wait for the system to turn back

the hand of clock. alternatively we can manually delete the

update but the above option is much simpler.

Good luck however
Deji is right on this one, this is exactly the situation. And until you know what else is wrong with your hard drive, deactivate the automatic updates download. It's happened to my laptop just a few days ago, I switched off the automatic download and installation of updates and did them manually today.
