Kelvinj:Praise the Lord! I'm completely healed now. Many thanks to God and T.D. Jakes. Are you taking your medications as directed by your psychiatrist? Have you started behaving or at least close to normal? |
not sure I'm getting your point. Earlier on this thread, TheSeeker mentioned quite a number of negative habits asociated with different towns in the southwest, and no one considered that a personal vendetta with the townspeople. I simply dont believe there are no cultists in OAU, thats all. Thinking otherwise is only setting the stage for the cultists to stage a comeback which will be more brutal than what anyone saw before. They dont forgive and they dont forget. Nothing I stated about cultists that well known. They have connections in high places and they go scot free regardless what they do.
The OAU I know is resolute than that; if they so have the power to stage a comeback, why haven't they? It's not like they're going there to meet a fellow gang Dayo, spot on! I bet you participated in teasing people's girlfriends that came looking for them too ![]() |
Thank you ![]() |
Wrong information When was the last time you went for a psychiatric test? |
Wow! You're fire! I hate fire Shall we dissolve this union? |
Ok, we'll see. I'm gonna getcha ![]() |
Yes, I wish I had them then, it'd have been a good prep ahead of a marriage with you. ![]() |
No, she didn't. When are you trysting with your secret boyfriend? |
Nice game girl. If that's the technique Gators will adopt during the football season, be ready for an ass whooping lesson. Keep avoiding my question. Na2Day, I think I've seen a good sign. ![]() |
I would have had let me see, mmmm. . . . about errmmm. . . . 24 girlfriends per semester ![]() |
No, I don't, I heard you raped his wife, is that false? |
Where and when did we discuss that? See, I always had the premonition you're seeing someone else. You had better tell me the truth ![]() |
See you!!! The position of a Social Director will definitely bring me towards ladies; don't y'all like shows? If you need to book, see your social director directly. My personal number will be the hotline, not the SUG's. ![]() |
Yes, tentatively your husband. |
FL Gators:No reason really. AWO boys like to be crazy. Not discuss politically though. We simply have been there to talk matters that had to do with students' welfare; OAU specifically. But most times, I've been on the welfare team. I left the school when I was about contesting for "Social Director". From all indications, that'd have made me a ladies' man. ![]() |
nah bro! u dont let her dump u, u dump her first that way u hold the upper hand. if she dumps u first she will think she achieved something.
You don't want to know what I'd do if she shows me any sign; I'll start looking out for her most beautiful friend ![]() |
FL Gators:The university is, Obafemi Awolowo University. So he's definitely got to have a hall in his name there. No, I didn't. I was in the school for two years or so, and I never liked living in Awo hall. But I always went there to argue and talk politics. That was how I got into the political scene; but trust me, it was a good time. I was able to have meetings with some governors when we went for table talks or financial talks. ![]() |
FL Gators:Why? It's for ARO's sake -- a state of intentional craziness. AWO stands for Awolowo. So the hall's called AWO because it's Awolowo Hall |
FL Gators:In the name of bet in AWO, a guy will wear boxer short, underwear, walk to the lecture room with a big pot of soup |
FL Gators:Do you want to laugh? I can give you more details ![]() |
Ife peops are not razz. . . . . .I disagree with that. UNILAG students tend to look down on OAU students but when the debate starts, LAG students go beyond pale. . . They are not as intelligent as their OAU counterparts. . . .Besides 70% of OAU students reside in Lagos. AWO HALL is crazy. . . . . . .Heard u guys eat BEANS every hour of the clock. Did u ever munch "risky burger"?
Once again, you've got your facts right. Yes, AWO is a crazy hall. When you cook on the corridors, someone from another room comes to steal your food on the stove - the whole pot - in the name of ARO!
look at this Students of Obafemi Awolowo University (oau), Ile-Ife, Osun State have expressed palpable fear of possible attack by cultists on both students and lecturers on the campus. Some of the students who spoke with OSUN DEFENDER disclosed that some leaders of the students union as well as lecturers in the university have received death threat messages via their cell phones from supposed cultist groups, who had sent cold shivers down their spines. Speaking with OSUN DEFENDER, a students’ leader who preferred anonymity told the medium that the lingering division within the students’ union leaders, especially the face-off between the chairman of security committee of the students’ union, God Dey, and the union president, Davidson Adejuwon (aka Daviano) is an indicator that the event that led to the gruesome death of Iwilade, and other student leaders in the institution in 1999 is about to repeat itself. The source supported his postulation with the fact that the cultists have sent a message such as: “You should leave the campus or be dealt with” to some of the union leaders on the campus, which must not be discarded with a mere wave of the hand, he said. In a similar development, the leaders of the joint professional unions in the university, Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU), Non-Academic Staff Union of Nigeria Universities (NASU) and Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SANU) have also confirmed to have received numerous threats to their lives for dragging the university authorities to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). One of such messages to the concerned leaders of the union stated: “We learnt you’ve taking the university management to some agencies, the university authority will deal ruthlessly with you, be warned and desist. To reinforce their facts, the students and lecturers of the institution, who spoke with the medium added that the uncut lawns, bushy pathways and dark spots on the campus could aid the dastard mission of the supposed cult members, since the authority did not take any action to correct these anomalies on the campus. The respondents therefore called on the appropriate authorities to beef up the security situation on the campus and ensure that the episode of July 10, 1999 did not repeat itself in the institution http://www.osundefender.org/?p=4982
Well, what I had wanted not to say had been said by Dayo. As a member of the Student Representative Council (SRC) I have witnessed lots of cult guys beaten to death; they don't intentionally do it, but OAU lost some of its most brilliant and promising students to the fangs of cultism. That anger will forever ling in the mind of Great Ife. Are you saying all every cult member must be in school? A lot even join cult groups before they ever get admitted and when they choose to go to OAU, what happens? You either lay low or make one threat and lose your life; it's as simple as that. Besides, this is just Osun Defender, a minor newspaper only limited to Osun State. The OAU I know doesn't engage in such bargains, they have too much pride for that. They believe in dialogue. OAU is one of the most stubborn schools and that speaks volume in the number of lecture boycotts, and staging of protests. Aluta is what Ife is known for. When I was in the SRC, we mobilized a lot of students from other schools for ALUTA. In Ife, a cultist should pray that when he's discovered, he should be fished out by the authorities and not the SUG, or he's gone gone gone too soon. Call it pride or whatever it is, OAU is the safest school in Nigeria. There's nothing like indigene versus non indigenes and the environment is friendly with the students. Even during the Ife-Modakeke crisis, you're free to go anywhere as long as you have your ID card. You can pass through to anywhere and not be touched even in Modakeke. Cultist can threaten to hit Ife but believe is much stronger than that especially politically. We from down there are intelligent, super intelligent. I can't say of now that Nigeria has turned to something else but whatever it is, I'm proud to have at one time been associated with OAU and more so participated actively in her politics. |
No, never been there Have you met Jay Z before? |
This is very correct. . . . . My sister went to OAU and i have been there several times. They have a zero tolerance for cultism and the biggest cult in that school is their students' union aka AWO BOYS. If anyone threatens any female student. . . . .all she has to do is to go report to the AWO BOYS and such dude will be publicly flogged or marched nude to female hostels. The students have their court rooms and they punish other students accordingly.
Thanks very much. She doesn't know OAU is very different from any other school. I can't say what's done to suspected cult members who are caught, but all I can say is in addition to that, such are expelled from the school. Anyone who's gone to that school, will surely be proud to have ever been associated with such respected educational institute; I am. |
and like I said, cultists are more active on some campuses than others, but it doesnt mean they're not there. Neither do cultists always go around advertising themselves- their meetings are usually held in secret unless they decide otherwise. For whatever reason and on specific campuses. Uniben isnt a good example to go by because the fact that cultists are very rampant and visible there doesnt mean other campuses are the same way. Unless the cultists decide they want to "take over" a particular one. what makes Dayo a reliable witness? Just curious.
Dayo is a reliable witness because he finished from Ife and everyone from there will know what I'm talking about. I can boldly tell you that OAU is about the only major school I now that's never experienced cultists' brawls. Trust me, no active cultist will like to study in OAU, because if you're suspected to be a cult member, you're gone. I beg to differ that cultists don't advertise themselves. Who told you that? 99.99% of schools in Nigeria (universities, polytechnics & CEs) boast of their cultist background and that's what you'll never find in OAU. That school is too uniquely different from any school ever. Let me start from Osun alone; Esa Oke, Iree (both polytechnics), Ilesa college of education, Universal College of Technology, all boast of their occult superiority, well, Federal Poly Ede is as well similar to OAU. |
Cultists have a presence on every major campus in Nigeria, if not all campuses. They may be more active and visible in some places than in others, but that doesnt mean they're not there. Its like saying somewhere has no homosexuals because of zero tolerance. They're just underground, thats all.
You've not been following my posts correctly.
OAU has a high intolerance for cultism. It's the one school in Nigeria I can guarantee anyone to go to if they want a cult-free school. However, there may be the existence of cultists, but never seen or heard them make a statement on campus. Dayo can bear me witness on that one
|
so what are the signs u look out for?
I don't worry myself about looking for signs. When she's ready to leave, she'll let me know and I'll be more than ready to show her the door and leave her with a warning that as from then on, my number should be a wrong number on her phone ![]() |
nope! she will always be a part of the condom not me
Yes, if both of ya didn't pull off your clothes before you did it. |
I dont know any older school in Nigerian without cultists. They have branches on all the campuses and there's nothing like intolerance of cultism. Your denial makes me wonder if you're one?
There's no questioning the fact that you've not been to OAU let alone knowing anything about the school. Ask anyone, OAU has zero tolerance for cultism. There was the '99 killings where some cult members from UNIBEN and other schools came and killed some executive members of the SUG. The date was July 10, 1999 and that day is still being remembered every year in OAU. What was done to suspected cult members is what I won't say here on this forum, but OAU has zero tolerance for cultism. I never heard any fraternity group having their gathering anywhere, but they sure are in town(off campus) |
