I read and understood what you are implying. The rich got richer even here in Nigeria.
But your focus was on labour demands amidst inflation. The government had opportunity to tame the inflation but they were arrogant to criticism. Not only were they arrogant, they were also not telling the people the whole truth which makes it appear the government were mocking it citizens because they have access to our national resources.

Many people were crying here on the cost of production and the high level of insecurity against farmers mostly but those were regarded as dirty opposition politics.
I was crying for the government to take the dollar off the street but the CBN decided to flood the street with more and more dollar hoping that it will become excess in circulation resulting to it crash but that has failed too. Government has lost the dollars and it is not in the productive economy.

They are now raising banks capitalization to cripple struggling banks creating more pain to customers and giving fraudulent people in government the opportunity to offload their stolen wealth into acquisition of failing institutions making them appear genuine while they oppress the labourers who have worked all their lives to build those institutions.

I was against labour demands hoping the government could have done the needful but it is selfish to continue to endure the governments failure to address the easiest of it challenges by telling the truth to it citizens. Now the Finance minister has come out to say that subsidy is being faced out.

The unnecessarily money printed during the COVID by the government is what's causing inflation globally. The over excess money printed went to the rich people hence the world rich people made extra $6tr as profits during COVID.

Labour demanding for anything above N100k is just a way of increasing the country inflation. With the above N100k minimum wage, the business people won't have choice than to sack most of their workers as they would no longer be able to afford their basic salary.

The little increased in the minimum wage, the workers would use all to by consumable products as they would have been out of job.

And then the situation would become worse than before.

The cash in circulation is not up to 10% of all the funds in people's accounts in the bank. That means if CBN with it corrupt act is to print money so that Nigerians can have their funds as physical cash, the nations budget of 2 years won't be enough.
So Nigerias inflation is not caused by too much cash in circulation as we are having shortage of cash in circulation.
The inflation is caused by over dependent on foreign products and excessive health and leisure tourism to foreign countries that depletes the national foreign exchange, castigation of the Nigerian youth and calling them unemployable which makes they to seek out of country without minding the risk, government not attempting to be productive but seek to sell off it productive industries for temporary revenues. The worst of it is insecurity that has kept farmers out of their farms while bandits are tolerated to roam free and carry out their menance.

One of our key ministry partners, Ron, shared how he had a dear friend named Tyler, who was from a good Christian family, was great at sports, and was living the “American Dream.”

After college, however, Tyler started hanging out with the wrong crowd and developed a severe drug and drinking problem, which in turn led to a series of devastating mistakes.

Within a twenty-four-month period, Tyler lost everything he held dear in his life. Ashamed and miserable, Tyler dropped out of church and almost gave up on life, God, and grace.

One night, while jogging at a park and listening to a message by Pastor Prince, I felt God prompting me to send Tyler a text message. I felt that God wanted me to ask Tyler, “What does God see when He look s at you?” So while running, I texted him exactly those words. After a long time, I received his text reply:

Tyler: “Are you serious?”

Ron: “Yes.”

Tyler: “Well… I’m sure it’s not good.”

Ron: “Jesus.”

Tyler: “What do you mean?”

Ron: “I mean, when God look s at you, He sees Jesus!”

Thirty minutes later, I got this message:

Tyler: “Thank s, man, you don’t k now how badly I needed to hear that!”

Would it bless your heart to know that this is the very message God wants you to receive today? If you are like Tyler, then you believe God’s love for you depends on your actions.

You honestly believe God is ashamed of you because of your mistakes and failures. Well, you may have either not heard or have forgotten that the payment for your sins has already been made in full upon the body of Jesus at the cross. Therefore, when God looks at you today, He doesn’t judge, esteem, and measure you according to your imperfections. He sees you in the Beloved—He sees you in Christ, and He sees the blood that has been shed for you by His dear Son.

When God looks at you today, He sees Jesus. Because of this, His thoughts toward you are thoughts of loving-kindness, forgiveness, blessings, and favor. Jesus paid an immensely heavy price on the cross so that you can live life completely accepted and unconditionally loved by God. Knowing and believing this will make all the difference in how you live your life—no matter what is staring you in the face.

Today’s Thought
When God look s at me today, He sees me in Christ. He does not see my imperfections, but sees His Son’s blood, and therefore accepts me completely and loves me unconditionally.

Father, thank You that on the cross Jesus paid the heavy price for my sins, failures, and shame. You need the truth of God’s Word to uproot any wrong belief. This is why it’s so important to get into His Word and take time to meditate upon verses that reveal God’s unwavering and unfailing love for you.

For instance, if you find your mind drifting into anxious thoughts over the smallest things, I encourage you to memorize and quote today’s scripture: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isa. 26:3).

Whenever I feel stressed or worried about something, I pull away from life’s hustle and bustle and simply meditate on God’s promises. Sometimes I like to drive to a quiet park, and as gentle anointed music plays in my car, I feed on and speak His Word, allowing it to permeate my spirit: “God’s Word declares, ‘You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.’ ” And I tell the Lord, “Yes, Lord, it is You who will keep me in perfect peace. Perfect peace comes from You. I just need to rest in Your grace and keep my mind on You. I don’t need to think about what to do about this challenge. As I trust in You and keep my mind stayed on You, You will lead me and guide me. My trust is not in my own strength, but in You and You alone, Jesus.”

What am I doing here? Instead of allowing stress and worry to get to me, I’m training my heart to see how God sees my challenges. The bigger God becomes in my heart, the smaller my challenges become. In fact, many times when I just relax and keep my mind on the Lord, His peace and wisdom begin to flow in me, and the challenge that I was previously so worried about becomes minute and inconsequential in the presence of Almighty God.

Are you faced with an insurmountable circumstance today? Learn to see what God sees by meditating on His Word, and let His peace drive out your anxiety. Let His wisdom direct your paths.

Today’s Thought

The bigger God becomes in my heart, the smaller my challenges become. When I keep my mind on the Lord, His peace and wisdom will begin to flow in me and direct me to victory.

How can someone talk about progress in Nigeria without mentioning the president and elections?

People are making progress without the president. If you want collective progress as a nation, I can assure you the nation is making huge progress. Priorities of leaders differs. If the president doesn't take you as his priority, that doesn't stop the nation from progressing. Before now, subsidized transport only existed in the FCT and Lagos. Now, many states have adopted it. That is progress. The president was not involved.
The pain of Nigerians is hunger. But this was caused by insecurities in most agrarian communities. Most of us believe it is a foreign conspiracy to hijack our farming while there is another school of thought that it is caused by greedy Nigerians who prefer the mineral resources in those farm lands that fetch them hard currency.

HOW MUCH HAS GOD FORGIVEN YOU?

The main clause of the new covenant is found in Hebrews 8:12—“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Some people hear me teach this and immediately ask me, “If believers know that all their sins have already been forgiven and forgotten, won’t they go ahead and sin?”

Well, I have yet to encounter anyone who, after knowing the truth of Hebrews 8:12 and the Lord’s grace, says to himself, “Yippee! Now I can go out and sin!” However, I have encountered sincere people who have given up and walked away from God because they didn’t know or believe the truth of Hebrews 8:12.

To earn God’s forgiveness, they tried to keep the laws of the old covenant, only to fail consistently and end up feeling like hypocrites. In contrast, those who have received and believed the truth of Hebrews 8:12 and other new covenant truths have had their lives, marriages, and families gloriously transformed by the grace of our Lord Jesus.

I had a couple come up to me once and tell me they would like to be married in our church. They told me that they had in fact been married to each other before and had kids but that they had been separated for many years.

Somehow, separately, they both started attending our church and after listening to the teaching on forgiveness and God’s grace, God began to restore their relationship and they wanted to be remarried. Isn’t that wonderful? How many kids have the privilege of witnessing their parents’ wedding ceremony!

That’s the power of the gospel of Christ. It is able to mend broken lives and restore broken relationships!

My friend, knowing you are completely forgiven destroys the power of sin in your life. I know how this revelation has transformed my life just as it did the woman in today’s scripture. She brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil into the house of Simon, a Pharisee, and anointed Jesus’ feet.

And Jesus Himself said to Simon that those who are forgiven much will love Him much. So the more you realize that you have been forgiven much, actually, of all your sins, the more you will love the Lord Jesus. Receiving God’s forgiveness does not lead to a life of sin, but a life of loving and glorifying the Lord Jesus.

What do you think the woman’s response would have been after she had departed from Jesus? Would she have desired to continue living a life of sin, or would she, knowing that she has been forgiven much by God’s grace, be strengthened to live a life that honored and glorified Jesus?

Come on, folks! All of us, including myself, have been forgiven much. All of us have broken the Ten Commandments many times over. If we have not done so in action, we have done so in our hearts and minds.

So when you understand how much you have been forgiven, because that is how much God loves you, you can’t help but love Him much. This is the key to loving the Lord and enjoying your relationship with Him.

Beloved, when you fail, come to Jesus with the boldness and confidence that this woman had. Come and pour out everything that is on your heart to Him.

Don’t worry, He won’t dump more guilt and condemnation on you. He will remind you of the cross and say, “Your sins are already forgiven. I have already paid the price for your sins at Calvary. Rest in My forgiveness and love for you.”

Elisha received double portions of Elijah's anointing according to the scripture. But when Elisha commanded soldiers that came up against Israel to go blind, he spared their lives and even provided them with food to the extent that the nation of Israel became short of food. He declined calls for the soldiers to be killed by his servants. Does that make the God of Elijah different from the God of Elisha? certainly not. Everything that had happened in the scripture are for our instructions and guidance. It is for the believers to know what they have and make their decisions. That is called free will.

You are sure right. The discussion of heaven had made a lot of people to deviate from following God. They always describe heaven as a place without fun and activities. But when they focus on who dwells in heaven, the owner of heaven, the one who made everything bright and beautiful, they will begin to understand what Paul meant when he said "that I might know him and the power of his resurrection".
When people begin to treasure meeting with God like they do meeting with influential and wealthy society people, their view of God will begin to change and their idea of heaven will begin to become of something of great importance.

You and one or two if your persons should go to your bank. You should go and wail and cry in the bank (no damage anything o), while you do this, the person(s) that followed you should make a video of the episode. I used to think that among Jesus’ 12 disciples, John was the Lord’s favorite disciple and the one who was the closest to Him because the Bible calls John “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” I was under the impression that John had a special favor with Jesus, and always wondered what made him so special that he stood apart from the other disciples. Don’t you want to be known as the disciple whom Jesus loves? I do!

Then one day, when I was reading God’s Word, the secret of John’s favor dawned on me. The Lord opened my eyes and showed me that the phrase “the disciple whom Jesus loved” is actually found only in John’s own book! Check it out for yourself. You will not find this phrase being used in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. It is found only in the Gospel of John. It is a phrase that John used to describe himself!

Now, what was John doing? He was practicing and personalizing the love that Jesus had for him. We are all God’s favorites, but John knew the secret of accessing Jesus’ unmerited favor for himself. It is your prerogative to see yourself as the disciple whom Jesus loves, and to call yourself that!

When I started to teach that the secret of John’s favor lay in his personalization of God’s love, the people in my church literally stepped into a new dimension of experiencing God’s unmerited favor in their lives. I have seen how some of them really took this revelation and ran with it. Some of them customized the wallpapers of their cell phones to say “The disciple whom Jesus loves,” while others signed off their text messages and emails with the phrase.

As they kept reminding themselves that they are the disciple whom Jesus loves, they began to grow in the consciousness of the Lord’s love for them. At the same time, they began to grow in being favor-conscious! I have piles of praise reports on how our congregation members have been so blessed just by being conscious of Jesus’ favor in their lives. Some of them have been promoted, some have received spectacular increments to their paychecks, and many have won various prizes at company functions and in other contests, including all-expense-paid vacations.

A brother from my church signed up for a certain credit card during a special promotion in which new applicants stood to win a range of prizes. There were probably hundreds of thousands of people who participated in this promotion, but this young man just believed that he was highly favored, and because of that, he would win the top prize.

The day of the draw came and true enough, this young man won the top prize—a stunning black Lamborghini Gallardo! When he wrote to the church to share his testimony, he enclosed a picture of himself smiling from ear to ear, posing with his brand-new Lamborghini.

He said that he knew that he had won the car by the unmerited favor of God, and after he had sold off the car, he brought his tithe to the church, giving all glory and honor to Jesus. The world calls this “luck,” but for the believer, there is no such thing as luck. There is only the unmerited favor of Jesus!
