See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! 1 John 3:1 NLT - APRIL 20 - ALREADY BELOVED, ALREADY QUALIFIED I received an awesome testimony from twenty-five-year-old Nathan from New York, who grew up with no father figure in his life except a man whom his mother married and who beat him regularly from the time he was three. Nathan struggled with his identity, his addictions, and his anger. But his turning point came when he learned that his Daddy God loves him. He wrote: I heard a sermon of yours about being God’s beloved. I had never heard someone speak about Jesus as someone who died for my sins because He loved me so much. I thought there was no way anyone would die for me if they knew what I’d done. But the love I felt as I listened was something I’d never experienced before. I had to know more, so I bought your book Destined To Reign, and the Lord’s words through your book changed my life . . . I’ve dropped every bad habit—everything—in my past and have given myself to the Lord Jesus Christ. Every day seems new to me, and I see life in a different light now. I know that I have a Father in heaven who loves and accepts me. I know that He hears my prayers and won’t be slow to answer them. In the same way, I pray you will have a revelation that you are right now loved by the Father and close to His heart. That your Daddy God always hears your prayers and is more than able and willing to lift you out of every dark pit and set you in His love and light. Right now, I want you to do something: close your eyes and just say, “Daddy.” That’s a prayer right there. In fact, that’s the deepest, most intimate prayer you can pray. Call upon your Daddy God because He loves you and cares for you. You never did anything to make Him fall in love with you. And beloved, there is nothing you can do, nothing you could have done, that will ever take away His love for you. I want you to know today that as a child of God, you don’t need to qualify for His love in any way. You are already His beloved. You may feel that you are far away from Him, but your Father sees you. He has been watching and waiting for you to come home, ready to sprint toward you to embrace you. He wants to lavish His love and kisses on you, over and over again. You don’t need to earn your Daddy’s love. ALL that He has is already yours. He’s not asking you to serve Him in order to earn His blessings. ALL that He has, He has already freely and unconditionally given to you. He gave up His only Son to die an agonizing death on the cross for the chance that you might one day accept His love. So come. Come to the Father. Come with all your failings, with all your brokenness, with all your inadequacies. Come as you are. As you realize that you are the object of His love, I pray that whatever is negative or destructive will be flushed out from your life and you will experience breakthrough after breakthrough like never before. triplechoice:You are funny with your assertive statement about the law. The law doesn't pay you. Government does. And as long as this administration is concerned, government is the law. What hasn't the government done for the civil servants. They provided subsidized transport and housing to them, the law didn't make them do it. The government promise suffering allowance to civil servants, the law didn't make them do it. They government has promised palliative to civil servants, the law didn't make them do it. Bunch of selfish lots. The law belongs to the government. It is used to control the people and not for the people to use it to control government. If government yields to increase minimum wage after the ungrateful ranting of labor, then the government is weak. The time to stand for the economy is now. |
The governor had already provided subsidized transport vehicles in the state. These are only additions to the fleets of buses. Tetfund buses, old PTF buses and many other buses belonging to different commissions were repaired and putted on the road before the arrival of these new fleets. He is not a media jamboree kind of governor. |
triplechoice:you must have published several books. First, that something has to be reviewed does not mean it has to be increased. It can be reduced based on available reality. Government won't continue to borrow just to pay unproductive sector salaries. The minimum wage is not binding on the private sector. What tax are you referring to. It is more profitable for the government to invest in productive private sector that not only drives the economy but also generate revenue to the government. Any attempt to impose minimum wage on private sector will not only crumble the economy, it will be the end of this administration. Businesses makes profits and pay salaries from profits. They are not government that will borrow money to pay salaries to unproductive civil servants and then turn to oppress the private sector with taxes. Pension in the private sector is a fraud by private pension management institutions to deny private sector employees of their wholesome salaries. If they put that percentage they are corcerd to save with pension managers in a stock, the dividend will be better than the pension. If the government has to increase minimum wage, it means they will need to mint more money incurring both more expenses and creating more inflation. But if they invest in reducing cost of production and distribution of goods, they will both save the economy from inflation and extra expenses on minting money. This is time to stand strong. |

ibdavidson:You are obviously a civil servant and it is difficult to reason with you on needs to stabilize the economy by being more productive. If you civil servants don't believe in Nigeria, why should government pay attention to your needs. If government is to incurring 2 trillion as salary increase cost, I will advise they rather use it to subsidize diesel to factories running production of feeds, fertilizers, cold rooms and other major industries in house hold goods production for 4 months and see how the economy will fare. Don't be selfish. You want government to take care of less than 5 percent of it citizens and left over 95 percent to continue the suffering. It will not work. |
They said FCT, you are saying Abuja. Where was it written Abuja. Are you this dull? Maybe you don't know the differences between the two
Chai. Pity me now. I did not go to nursery school. I have forgotten they are two different places FCT is federal capital territory Abuja is em em wikes territory. I have to go back to nursery school. I don't want to disgrace my ancestors in public again. |
na2016:As long as you don't realize that increase in minimum wage equals increase in money in circulation and also increase in inflation and demand for dollar, you will not understand that this press for salary increase is selfish. If Labour press for subsidy on Diesel instead of salary increase you will see that inflation will be curtailed, naira will appreciate and those running to foreign countries to do menial jobs just because of the rate of dollar will see no such needs again. Those pressing for salary increase are selfish. Well, Labour only cares for it members and members of Nigerian labour under government pay are less than 5 percent. I see no need government should give them such attention. They should rather create opportunities to onboard more of the citizens productively. Industrial revolution Agricultural revolution |
So there are public schools in Abuja? They must be in the outskirts of the city. |
What we need is not increasing minimum wage but reducing cost of production and improving farmers output as well as curbing security challenges. Even if states are able to pay minimum wage of N200,000, it is same as saying inflation can go ahead and destroy the economy. A work in progress needs no distractions. Anyways, no one cares about workers in the private sector. No salary increase, no pension, no gratuities, no bonus package. All from hand to mount work. And they do real work and not file and paper kind of work done by most civil servants. |

Spiritual gifts can be imparted if one spiritual being submit to another. But the spirit of a man can not be transferred to another person unless such a one has power to displace a person off his spirit and possess the persons body. Not possible. The challenges of people who had received gifts from renowned prophet is understanding the use of those gifts. Some understands their gift to function in healing, others in deliverance, some in financial breakthrough, some in prophecy, some in words of faith and many more divers functions of gifts. While this is true scripturally, these gifts came from one spirit. So one can possess more gifts for the kingdom use. The parable of the talents has explain the blessedness of gaining more gifts but most people are comfortable with their talents and try to dismiss the parable to refer to physical talents and not spiritual gifts. |

EreluRoz:Police is your friend. Have you not heard about that before. Try to understand what that statement means. If she is ready for case, she should go to any high court and open a case file because the police will side with a trouble maker as long as they know the victim will drop something. In my own case, a police officer was begging the DPO to hand over a case reported against me to him because he has found something to hold on to make me drop something even when it was obvious the complainant had fraudulent intentions. |
I wanted to pray for the God that did it for you to do it for me too so that this will be my sapa level too but had to change my mind. It is obvious you had kissed the staff. KOK staff. I no follow you do ![]() |

Trendy247:Opay like other banks has option for virtual card creation. They use the generated card details to make online payment. To track this thief should be easy if physical goods was purchased with the virtual card. Just contact the store to provide details of the culprit and location. But Nigerias case is something I am not understanding. You have to go to police and also secure court order before banks can provide details of fraudulent transactions perpetrators. |
Diesel is 1,650 here. Irregular prices continues. |

Langtang people will never publicly agree that they are Hausas or know how to speak it. It was an attempted media coup against Gowon and the people of langtang in plateau state. They have ditched Hausa language long ago. They are Tarok people. Not Hausa. |
DeLaRue:The subsidy on Diesel should not be about importation of diesel but making our local refineries to focus more on Diesel. The government keep looking for foreign currency to import what we can produce in the country and then subsidize it while incurring deficit in forex. This is cluelessness. If we are producing Diesel from our refinery, no one will notice that the product is subsidized because the subsidy will be in payment of workers from government coffers which is in naira. The only time people will understand that the product is subsidized is when the price is compared with it prices in other countries. |
kettykin:This is part and most important of the solutions to our economic woes. Localization of industries is key to food security and economic recovery. But this is going to be too much capital intensive and requires much time to achieve this. Again, security challenges needs to be addressed. The industries already in the north like NASCO for instance has not been innovative in creating quality that will make demand for products from factories located in Lagos to have less demands. No breweries in the north because of religious oppositions. So some of these things needs to be addressed. But for a quick fix, for visible results, diesel has to be addressed. |
Nigerians will begin to smuggle this too out of the country but if governor is proactive, it can see the thought of those having that mindset before they actually commit the crime and find ways to control it. |
The quickest way to fix the economy is controlling the price of diesel. It is as simple as that. If the price of diesel is subsidized today everything will be fixed automatically. Let me give you some example. Golden penny factory is in Lagos. They will need maize to produce semovita. But the bulk of this comes from the north. Due to the bulkiness and quantity needed by the factory, Diesel powered trucks are used to transport the raw materials from the north to Lagos. Each of this trip costs gonden penny close to 2 million naira to convey the raw maize to Lagos when calculated based on current price. Mind you the price of the maize has not been factored in which is also relatively high because of high cost of production resulting from high cost of fertilizers and chemicals which also has high production cost. Everything is relative. The raw maize is now processed by golden penny factory using equipments that runs on Diesel powered generators. This is another reason why pure water seem to be beyond the reach of people on the streets as cost of production is high owing to equipment that runs on Diesel, and cost of production of packaging nylons of which the equipments runs on Diesel. The processed product is ready for distribution. Now it has to be transported again back to places they are needed using the same Diesel powered vehicles. The price of this product is set while factoring in the cost of production, transportation and storage of the products. This is the reason things are on a constant rise and as long as the price of diesel has not been rectified, every thing will continue in this upward trend. Dangote is going to control the economy of this country when his Diesel is ready. But if the government is having any will to handle the economy and make it follow the directions it dictate, the federal government needs to start Diesel production in every working refinery and push it to the market at a very subsidized amount. This is not to discourage Dangote but to let him know that the economy is the responsibility of the government. While dollar is dictating the price of diesel imported, it is not dollar that is pushing our local foods up. It is diesel. |
This question is the reason the world fears Nigeria. We can not be honest about anything. |
