Zoharariel: ![]() i tell you |
Ayus34:not all Igbos think like that my friend. we've seen some disagree with the idiocy even on this thread |
This is very nice ![]() Ogun state is really moving fast ![]() I pray the country experiences a rebirth of our moribund manufacturing sector and wish those who left e.g Dunlop and Michelin will bring their businesses back God bless Nigeria |
nonaira:No...the company WON'T BE USING crude from ND because it's not a refinery, petrochemical plant or gas plant. It's unfortunate and hilarious that you don't know yet you've been hyperventilating since morning. If no, fine build it in lagos. If yes, then they either should build it in ND or go and dig oil in lagos and build it there.Of course they've built it in lagos and even if you wish, your angry strokes on your keyboard won't interfere with the progress they're making in lagos. The worst you can do is rant......which is what you're doing now the rest of your ranting, I don't care much about itYou can't care even if you tried since you have no single idea about what is being discussed. Imagine you asking if they'll be using crude from the ND ![]() Next time you wish to come rant on a public forum, the least you can do is use Google to update yourself so you don't come display gross ignorance in public. |
![]() i don't want to believe a sane person said the below In the case of Chukwuemeka Ezeuko (Rev. King), the group argued that he is being persecuted in Nigeria because he is an Igboman. “His trial was quickly rushed without fair hearing just to maintain a groups’ interest of Yoruba Pentecostal Christian leadership who saw Rev. king as an obstacle to their domination of Pentecostal Churches in Nigeria”, MASSOB insisted Is the Ann he killed not also Igbo? |
this is serious |
soludo93:An you have a statement from GMB where he affirmed the job of picking members of his cabinet will be the sole prerogative of the party? |
I thought she was 9 years old when he married her?? TANoids and beer parlour gossips ![]() |
The important thing is that he's going...... Every other tale na wash ![]() |
lyntiffany:I won't quarell with what they decide to do henceforth as long as they don't try to go the boko haram way. We all saw what that resulted into for the north east and remember.....nothing burns like crude..... |
Chiaka:So Asari etc are free to be prodigal with what they made because its not upto what others made? What kind of logic is this? I believe you're a Christian sis? Jesus said he who is unfaithful in little will not be faithful in much. Even if you hand Asari and his friends the keys to the Nigerian vault, they won't do better. |
onatisi:God bless you for your candour and honesty. No sensible person will wish the ND not to get all they can from the oil in their backyard but how do you explain a situation where an ND son who claims he didn't have shoes got promoted to the highest office in the land by acts of fate only to get there and get preoccupied solely with working towards getting a 2nd term? If he had spent the resources, goodwill and energy he expended on his 2nd term bid on developing the ND, the ND would have been Dubai now. Gej was simply interested in feathering his own nest. Those who regard him a hero should go ask him for the goodies he brought back from his 5 year adventure. |
Chukwugekwu: No my friend. He isn't right and I'm glad the courts told him so. No one is intimidating the ND.....let them agitate for such to be replicated in the ND by the ND sons who have made billions from gej patronage |
Reference:No. What should cause sensible agitation is what Asari dokubo did and is still doing: making billions in the name of the Niger delta struggle and using it to go create jobs in a foreign country. Even if he had sited his investment in Lagos like LADOL, ND youths would have been employed but he obviously doesn't think so much of his kith and kin, why then do you blame a stranger for neglecting your region when you can't caution your own son? If gej was remotely interested in breaking a vicious cycle, he would have encouraged this project to be relocated to bayelsa since 5 years ago. If he was interested in breaking the vicious cycle, he would have mandated Asari, Tompolo, Boyloaf etc to utilise the billions he's giving them to do something similar in the ND, not using executive fiat to push a private investor into debt in a bid to soften the hostile reception he deserves from his people for sleeping for 5 years on the seat of authority. Or you think its beans to relocate such a gigantic project? Who will bear the cost? But of course he's simply the ND version of the Kaduna mafia we all accuse of selfish born to rule mentality |
rummmy:Me too dey dance sekem and I even join galala to the dance parole you initiate ![]() |
Chiaka:You're right it is tight thinking to put it there but why did it take gej 5 years to realise he could encourage an investment project in his home state? Also do you know how many Julius Berger workers were kidnapped before they abandoned the east west road? These are issues that a right thinking investor puts into consideration before committing millions of dollars to a project |
modath: ![]() Exactly. I'm yet to see where anybody threatened or remotely suggested he's that important to warrant being arrested. I guess it's his own way of getting some much needed attention ![]() |
Goddex:In the release Reuben Abati gave, Jonathan was actually competing against himself. See the progression under Jonathan 2010-------------134 2011-------------143 2012-------------139 2013-------------144 2014-------------136 under Yaradua, see the results 2007-------------147 2008-------------121 2009-------------130 Yar'adua reduced it from what he met it at under OBJ govt and brought it down to 121 and GEJ government took it to 144 before dropping it at 136. I dare say the ranking for 2009 dropped because Yar'adua fell ill and had to leave govt to the hawks. If fashola bought such, then he did worse than Oduah and he has no excuse. We expect the GMB govt to change the perception just like Yar'adua did. The fact that a corrupt election even brought him in didn't stop him from trying to chart a new course before the cold hands of death took him. |
^^^ Don't tag everyone who points out wrongs in Jonathan's govt as APC. Google up Prof Niyi Osundare and you'll see the guy isn't just another talker. Chinua Achebe wasn't tagged APGA or PPA when he castigated OBJ and his government |
lyntiffany:@the bold, don't you think it's also Mr Jadesinmi's prerogative to site his investment in an environment where he feels it's safe and better for his operations? remember he's a private citizen and the FG didn't give him a dime to establish it. before LADOL was set up, Oil companies used to send these projects outside Nigeria. Is Lagos not closer to you in the ND than taking the project to say a place like Aberdeen or Florence? What i expected GEJ to do is encourage the young ND guys he's empowered financially to set up something similar in bayelsa then get the oil majors to give them some of the contracts that emanate from the industry from time to time. I'll be very surprised if no ND youth works at LADOL which is 1000 times better than the Asari example i used. Not asking a man to move his life's work at a whim just to tell your people you remember them when he was on sleeping and dulling mood for the 5 years of his presidency. Asari like a lot of other Nigerians have businesses abroad like you said which is why we shouldn't frustrate a Nigerian who sites his investment in Nigeria even if it's not in the ND Thanks for your civility by the way ![]() |
lyntiffany:Some folks claim they fought for the liberation of the ND e.g Asari Dokubo. How much has he expended to free the region from poverty utilizing the billions he makes from the mega deal he got from the FG in the process? Charity begins at home you know? how many youths has he empowered? what businesses has he created in the ND to facilitate employment? or is Benin republic a part of the ND that he has his businesses there? If folks like him don't invest in the ND, who should? |
nonaira:Everything the company is fabricating isn't coming FROM the ND, rather they are coming TO the ND. The company isn't even created only for projects in the ND.....it's meant to serve the african market as the continent lacks ready availability of such a project. Also, it's nobody's fault that Asari sees Benin republic as a better destination for the money he gets paid from the ND. If a son of the soil who claims to fight for the region doesn't think his businesses are safe in the region, why blame the non indigene of the ND who refuses to bring his investment down there? The project is for profit, not for charity or decoration. Tell Asari, Tompolo, Ateke, Boyloaf etc to show the way by starting the investment boom with the money they're making daily from the region. If they don't love their region enough, who should? |
EMANY01:Of course, why not?? what's the big deal about buying oil from outside to refine?? what is the big deal? are we alien to importation? even Oshiomhole had to import a wife as recently as last friday so why can't Dangote import the crude his refinery needs?after all we've been using imported fuel to run Nigeria for plenty years now and even getting defrauded by the gej government created cabal in the process so why can't we get a step further by importing the crude to refine here? Dangote refinery will even buy the crude off the militants that steal it everyday....400,000 barrels of stolen crude will be enough to feed the plant. GEJ decides to force a PRIVATE project conceived in 2003 to bayelsa 2 weeks to the end of his tenure and you want the promoters to keep quiet? was he on Valium 5 overdose for the past 5 years of his kindergarten presidency? (apologies to Prof David-West) why didn't he do it earlier? why the last minute desperation? to show his people he didn't forget them? To buy himself a hero's welcome? |
This sounds nice |
Bobbysworld28:ewwww...don't be too harsh on him pls... Supporting gej dumbly and getting beat black and blue in the process has a debilitating effect on the psyche.. Our friend needs our empathy and understanding pls.... ![]() |
LasoulMacuby:That is exactly why i am very afraid for them.....It won't be nice seeing young men die of hate because Nigerians decided we wanted a change ![]() God bless you my man |
soludo93: ![]() Can you pls point to one issue your compatriot brought to the table in his childish display of tantrums? Just one so you and i can trash it out? ![]() |
Mogidi: there can't be a bigger olodo than Jonathan....even his kith and kin now know ![]() I won't stop telling you my friend.....I see it as a social responsibility: stopping your descent into depression. If you want to criticise, do it responsibly and on issues...not on beer parlour gists and road side gossip ![]() Let GMB announce the lists first before getting hyperactive. |
Mogidi: ![]() Who will help this guy's case of bitterness, hatred and sadness over Jonathan's loss? So you knew GMB should pick his ministers? Yet you've been salivating over lists coming from APC govs, lists from Arewa council and every other lists that makes it look like the hawks in the north have hijacked GMB and have sidelined the SW? ![]() Who do you this thing is very wicked ![]() Take heart.....gej will be back like the Terminator to lead the charge himself.....he promised you that ![]() |
Of course truth will always prevail.... If they wish to make Nigeria ungovernable for GMB by pitting the north against the SW, they should at least buy some brains... Like Gbawe said, how can you fabricate such stupid news and then attach the highly esteemed Dr Shamsudeen Usman to it? Why not Tanko Yakassai? A well known ethnic jingoist to make it more believable. If I call them slowpoke now like Soyinka did, some will start vexing like slowpokes indeed ![]() Rubbish |
Mogidi:What about vanguard, thisday, sun, nta, AIT etc...did they carry it as well? Or have they stopped being sympathetic to the cause of the TANoids? To show how dark your mind is, the man has denied the rubbish in very strong terms yet you're silently praying and wishing it remains 'true'.... What do you gain from allowing your mind a hotbed of hate, bitterness, sadness, vengeance and all manner of evil? |
IzonOwei:I hope. Direction has always been lacking in the ND struggle. Asari got his share and travelled to Cotonou to empower a foreign economy. If he was fighting for folks like you, why didn't he site it in Izon land? He and the kaduna Mafia have the same goal: personal enrichment and aggrandizement. |
