What a mischievous headline?? If you can't think well, you might just assume GMB approved the largesse when in fact the fault lies with the RMFAC. The man hasn't even taken over yet Nigerian journalism |
IzonOwei:Of course he empowered Niger deltans abi tompolo, asari, ateke, boyloaf, Edwin Clark etc are no longer Niger deltans? Go show jona you can handle a gun and you'll be empowered. |
oneeast:Chai! if a self confessed TANoid can be this brutally candid, what remains for me to say??I'll simply repeat....chai!! ![]() As for this guy below, he isn't a fastguy because if he was, he'll know the difference between a private investment and a fully govt funded project. fastguy10:Nigeria isn't a big fraud my friend, Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is the big fraud ![]() |
tobtap:Obama attending an inauguration in Nigeria doesn't make us puppets..... We make ourselves puppets to the international community when we rely on loans to pay civil servants salaries and pray and beg for aid to lift our poor out of poverty. Based on this, I dare say we've been puppets for a very long time but we have a chance to start afresh now. South Korea, Japan and Saudi Arabia are countries that prove that you could be very close friends with america and still maintain your dignity while assuring your populace access to a very good life. We can get assistance from America without losing our identity or dignity. GMB by his victory has shown that Nigerians now have a say in who governs them while gej conceeding has shown that the Nigerian big man is also capable of listening to the voice of reason. These are the tenets of great democracies and we've shown that we've arrived and are ready to play like big men.....no more puppets. |
lexy2014:@bold, honestly I don't know ![]() |
Sibrah:I don't how much Abacha stole but if you read my post very well, you'll realise I never intended to belittle Abacha's sleaze. I still wonder what gave you that idea See the link below to see oil price progression. http://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&s=F000000__3&f=M |
socialmediaman: ![]() But of course ![]() |
socialmediaman:No I won't my friend.....you have a problem with my decision? |
If Abacha could steal all these with oil selling for $9/barrel and petrol @N3.25/ltr, I shudder to think about what has been stolen with oil selling @$115/barrel and petrol @N97/ltr I won't blame gej for this particular issue. The man is not a lawyer. Its the officials in the ministry of justice I blame for making it look like its impossible to prosecute crimes of this nature. Of course we all know why they do this: the kickbacks they are surely going to get from the deals. Mohammed Adoke must be a billionaire in dollar terms now. They make it very clear that the real crime in Nigeria isn't stealing.....ITS NOT STEALING ENOUGH |
Very very soon.....we won't need to prosecute armed robbery in Nigeria again. We'll simply ask the president and the victims to act like Mandela and move on. What is prejudicial about saying "we will not forgive and forget the killings in rivers state" is Mr Secondus admitting he knows those who carried out the act? Is the PDP admitting guilt and stylishly begging for closure? After all gej said his ambition wasn't worth the life of any Nigerian so why is PDP not celebrating GMB for trying to ensure those who didn't allow gej's promise to be kept are brought to book? Methinks GMB is only trying clear the stains on Jonathan's failed ambition and he should be applauded. Killings were done in rivers state under the banner of Jonathan's ambition. The killers should be brought to book. Simple |
doninno:My dear, do you have comprehension issues? Did you read my post AT ALL before rushing to comment? Can you point to any statement I made that remotely suggests I don't want her punished because she's female? |
![]() Bukola Saraki is a Fulani man ![]() Yes 'it' is ![]() |
Haba Kai....another promising life wasted |
The guy talk plenty hurtful things but he spoke truth on most of them. I think I'll like him to replace jega I pity the next guy to have a fit of orubebeism ![]() Also the guy couldn't hide his admiration of Tinubu and even Amaechi ![]() Imagine him saying for Tinubu pushing PDP out, he's sure God has absolved him of all sins ![]() Odimegwu na real crazy old man ![]() |
Muazu the game changer..... ![]() Sure he did change the venue of the game from aso rock to otuoke waterside ![]() |
drtwist:Cheers ![]() |
BlackTechnology:What is your view on the pro chancellor and chairman of council of university of Nigeria Nsukka? |
BlackTechnology:No problems....Igbo can have presidency and VP in 2019 if they wish and if they can..... The fact and reality for now is that GMB whom you despise is going to rule over all Nigeria including Igbo till 2019. The best you can do is pray for good governance and the worst you can do is choke on your hate, bitterness and sorrows. The choice is yours |
NewNigeriaMind:The clueless, hateful and bitter do not know this |
BlackTechnology:Awo losing is very inconsequential.....gej presidency with NOTHING for bayelsans to show as benefit is proof. 5 Igbo senate presidents in this fourth republic is ample proof that it matters not where the leader comes from.... Good governance is the indispensable thing |
BlackTechnology:Which is more valuable to you? A country where youths are employed and we don't have to drop dead queuing for fuel or a sick country with all problems but you having the consolation of an Igbo man preside over the mess? Of course the answer is yes for you otherwise you wouldn't have kept on supporting gej despite the fact he's been an unmitigated disaster and failure GMB should appoint igbo as finance, works, justice ministers if he so wishes (I even have good suggestions for the 3 offices)....its immaterial to me. A country where my children grow in plenty and security is INFINITELY MORE IMPORTANT to folks like me. GMB should bring a Ghanaian VP in 2019 if he likes, the realities of a failed Nigeria is more pertinent than stupid and childish tribal considerations |
BlackTechnology:Do the elite in igboland dictate what you believe and how you run your life? |
BlackTechnology:I guess Daniel KANU also spoke for you when he wanted Abacha to rule for life? I guess chief Obioha also spoke for all Igbo when he went begging GMB for appointments and other patronage? |
NewNigeriaMind:Thanks for this. That is what we all should work towards....only the NATIONAL INTEREST is what we all should work towards which sadly we've been denied for so long. That is the only thing that will ensure good for us all God bless you bro |
NewNigeriaMind:My bro, there's nothing for me to read in the article. The heading shows its an article that will not work for how we hope Nigeria is run. What does the Yoruba losing out in a GMB presidency have to do with Nigeria working again? If GMB likes, he should employ only shuwa Arabs in his govt. If they don't steal everything or allow criminals walk free in the land, I'm very OK. GMB wasn't created to.please Yoruba people |
BlackTechnology: why not my friend, why not??Even if we can get honest expatriates to help us run Nigeria to make it work again, why freaking not? Let GMB appoint only katsina indigenes if he likes, as long as the country wakes up again and gej remains in otuoke, he should go ahead |
BlackTechnology: finally a Yoruba man that doesn't make you choke on your hatred and bitternessI hope you've sent your words of 'wisdom' to GMB? |
businessline: Mogidi:Didn't they also lose out under gej after fighting to free him from the cage Turai put him? after OBJ, a Yoruba man installed him as PDP candidate, after Yoruba states voted overwhelmingly for him to clinch the presidency so what is the big deal if they also lose out under GMB? A Yoruba man is the VP and even if he doesn't even perform a single function, with respect to the way you clannish folks analyse politics, its still 100times better than whatever they got under gej so why can't you go cry in your closet over gej's monumental loss? Are the Yoruba the reason for your unending misery? GMB was voted to work for Nigeria, not to please the Yoruba. How difficult is this that you simply can't comprehend it? |
Frugality is the watchword now. No time for any rubbish 'omo baba olowo' behaviour. Good one there sylva |
![]() If the GMB govt doesn't get to the root of this fraud, I'll agree Nigeria can't be salvaged and in fact shouldn't be salvaged. |
