ECOTERRORS: The igbo man needs to wake up and become more politically active, we need to start being very active on social media, try to own media houses, be proactive in their votes, participate actively in census and electoral exercise, being igbocentric before a Nigerian. The contraption called Nigeria was built to fail and to keep the Hausas in the mAjority.
During the last census exercise, I worked as a supervisor in Adamawa state, the pressure from govt officials to inflate the figures was so enormous that I had to throw in the towel for my own safety. The inhabitants of the place my enumerators covered wasn't up to 1000 but the figures were inflated to 8000. I shook my head when I called my friends in the east and I was told that figures were not inflated because the northern supervisors posted there didn't allow for it. There was an redeployment of supervisors to diffrent states of the federation I believe the govt in power in Adamawa state and Abuja is PDP led. Thank God for this info so when any confused person brings up inanities and revisionism next time......they will do well to absorb this revelation. Thank God for the SE then but same can't be said for the SS. |

What is provocative in this list?
Only a mischievous and evil minded person will have a problem with these terms of reference. What exactly does Jonathan want?
His minions have nominated him already for a Nobel peace 'price' for conceding defeat.....isn't that enough? Must we stop governance to keep on celebrating his 'heroism'? Isn't it very glaring now that his supposed readiness to quit is a lie and a facade?
Abeg he should handover and proceed to Norway for his Nobel laureate investure ceremony. |

Gombs: well, your opinion, but judging from the number of followership i have on NL (i cant follow a handful back for reasons best known to me), mails i get from my signature box and ROR thread, me thinks you're on the far side of hilarious assumptions. If you don't think i have the capacity, then i must laugh. Ever wondered why we don't have tithe threads of late as before? The issue is someone is busy praying, teaching and preaching winning others to Christ here on NL, the other is busy looking for Pastor Chris, WoF, fake miracle etc.

TRADELYN: The truth is that most of them (if not all) do not like him.
They're just after their own interest! They don't have to like him.......as long as the interest of Nigeria is protected, no problems DSTV know I don't like them too but it didn't stop their customer care from giving me a call to solicit my continued patronage of their expensive bouquets. Its all about interests my friend, not romance and its very legit |
Politics › Re: Is Any Infrasrtucture; Institution Etc In Nigeria Named After Buhari by theV0ice: 8:35pm On Apr 30, 2015 |
@OP, it shows the kind of reserved and humble person GMB is. He isn't given to inanities, frivolities neither does he go seeking vain glory or false adulations. He spent 20months as head of state and didn't name even a street after himself while even LGA chairmen name hordes of things after themselves. IBB that took over from him should have named something after him but he greatly despised him and didn't. GMB could have lobbied Abacha who even made him PTF chairman to name something after him but he didn't because the man isn't a vain person. Like someone above said, the man is hated by majority of the elite ITbomb: The power brokers just courted him to use his cult followership among the almajiris to take power from Jonathan. Once Jonathan is out of the way, you will see the intrigues and bickering that will tear down his administration. This time there will be no Idiagbon to hold the nation for him. How does this rant of yours answer the question the OP asked?? Your childishness and pettiness should have started irritating even you already......your man lost the election and he has grudgingly 'accepted' defeat. Now is your time to Learn to get over it otherwise bitterness will kill u It shouldn't be too difficult |

phlemzy: Is PWC now making public all these because of fear that it may be sanctioned by the incoming administration? That's not good enough. If GEJ had won,so all of this will go unnoticed. We will need to evacuate the prisons by freeing petty thief's. The many high profile thieves should be the occupants. The money they looted altogether is enough to generate enough power to meet the demands of Nigeria, enough to construct good roads, standardise Nigerian universities, etc. Thank Jah we never had to go thru GEJ for another 4years. It will be more than a suicidal mission. PWC already made these observations since they concluded the report. Its the fg that kept it hidden till now. |

agabaI23: You should watch the impunity in the north. You were only speculating that because there was violence result shouldn't have been. The violence was not all over. Tell me about the North East with widespread violence and the figures from there with all the violence. Should we have such numbers? Talk about the number of PVCs collected there. Bro fear God oo I'm not speculating my friend. I know chief Adube personally. an APC stalwart in obrikom, Onelga of Rivers state who was murdered with his 4 children and brother. The violence was everywhere in rivers state. Tai, Eleme, emohua, obio akpor etc Can you mention the violence in the northeast and whom it was directed at? Also the figures in the NE show that people were still scared of BH. GMB had 446000 in Borno, 425000 in yobe, 300,000 plus in Adamawa despite the huge number of registered voters and PVC collected. Those were fertile grounds for rigging if APC wanted to. On number of PVC collected, until we southerners realise the importance of voting, the north will always hold the ace. An average northerner no matter how illiterate or poor gets serious about voting while the southerner is more concerned with making a headway economically and would rather be at his business than 'waste' time queuing to collect PVC or voting so don't begrudge them. We make the money, they get the PVC to dictate the political trajectory of the country. |

agabaI23: But you will accept the ones from the north? My friend, when I remember that a whole prof lost his ability to read numbers when it came to results from rivers state, then I'll trust the results from the north more. When I remember that no single result from a single PU was known or released by INEC for almost 3 days from most of the SS and SE states, then I'm inclined to believe the results were being cooked. When I remember the extreme violence in the SS yet rivets state having 75% voter turnout, then I an obligated to disbelieve that result |
