Ebuka / Biggie actually caused this and this is evident by Ebuka's feeling of guilt this evening. You noticed he didn't shake any tables tonight. He just asked general questions.

Why will Ebuka bring up an issue of 4 weeks ago making it look fresh? Erica and Laycon have talked about it and settled it then Ebuka brought it up again last week.

To Erica, it's as if laycon was gossiping about her round the house, lying that she's been trying to kiss him. She even asked to clear the issue up with laycon, but the latter has been evasive all week. He would later explain to biggie today why he refused to discuss the issue with her all week.

Ebuka caused this and its unfair to the girl.

Ever since rejecting laycon, Erica has been trying to ensure that he doesn't feel too hurt or pained by her decision. When laycon was giving her distance, she called laycon and told him her concern, even asking laycon if he hates her.

She has been cool with laycon in the house before Ebuka's madness. Remember when she first won the HoH, she went to laycon as a true friend to let him know why she might not pick him as DHoH, not that she owes him any explanation, but she was only trying to be a good friend ,eventually making him the second choice after Kidd. Before you say she's just being manipulative, remember she didn't choose laycon the second time not even as a guest, even nominating him for eviction because she now saw him as an enemy.

I feel so sorry for her and in a way she reminds me of zinedine zidane in 2006 and how temper can undo you just at the edge of breakthrough .

I loved her competitive spirit and I'm sure even her greatest critics will not but admire her as a formidable member of the house. She produced some of the major talking points in BBN lockdown.

And for those who will say that she should have controlled her temper , remember William congreve's immortal words about hell having no fury like a woman scorned is a truism for all time.

I feel so sorry for elites now, but I do admire their doggedness and how they stood by their fav despite the many controversies and pls this is not the time to start taunting them, lets give them the decency to mourn their loss. Nobody flogs a dead horse by the way and it's just a game.

Erica's last moment in the house is a scene i wish I can unsee. The look on her face as biggie was reading the verdict still burns my soul to this moment .

There's a saying is that success in life is basically 10% of what life throws at you and 90% of how you react to it.

While Erica might have appeared a tad remorseful in the wake of her imminent disqualification, it does not absolve her of the responsibility to have acted much better than she did. The fact remains that she was never the victim, but the aggressor.

As much as she might be feeling regretful now, you also need to realize that all what she said to Laycon were so demeaning that it would most likely have pushed someone else who does not have Laycon's healthy self-esteem into depression. I mean if the roles were reversed, how do you think Erica would feel if Laycon were to tell her repeatedly that she was going to die miserably, amidst a barrage of other very hurtful words that people have been known to commit suicide for? That's a really big issue and you can't just dismiss the severity of that outburst on mental health.

And it's not like Laycon ever even wished her bad. The guy had been true to his feelings about her. His offence was just a kiss and tell issue which doesn't mean he did not like her. Is the next reaction to then wish him death and other unimaginable horrors? Over 80% of guys globally have kissed (not even f*cked o) and told at one point or the other in their life. Should the appropriate punishment for them then be for the ladies involved to wish them death and other grotesque expletives publicly? Yes I know she has been punished accordingly, and I hope she finds restitution and closure about her emotional instability. But what she did to Laycon is almost at par with Nollywood drama-esque evils.

The only thing I can acknowledge is that she is not an intrinsically toxic/troublesome person like a Tacha/CeeCi. Her meltdown was a reaction to perceived offences by Laycon/Kidd/Nengi. However, her inability to emotionally handle those events well is no fault of any of the other housemates.

She'll be fine.

I feel like I'm watching a classic movie of good triumphing over evil. The guy that likened it to the story of Esther, Mordecai and Hamann might have some real good points, when I reasoned it through.

Erica was acting like a mean persecutor. She first said Laycon and Vee were her enemies and that she doesn't play with her enemies.

It was during this same time that Laycon and Vee won the highly rewarding Johnnywalker task. Infact, it was her, Laycon's sworn enemy, that announced Laycon's victory and rewards for this task. Again Laycon won the Amatem task and yet another task. This was a warning to Erica to stop fighting against whom God has not cursed. Yet she did not take heed.

Then she graduated to playing God. Said she will make Laycon suffer for life, that she hates him. Laycon is nothing in the house without her. Laycon is worthless. Viewers will see through Laycon's evil nature and not vote for him. He will Die. He will leave the house on Sunday. More and more unprintable curses.

Then she got disqualified for her numerous infractions.

The final humiliation will be when she now sees that Laycon had always had greater public support than her right from inception. When she beholds Laycon being announced as the winner of BBNaija. When she sees that the viewers massively love Laycon just as he is, drumstick, mopstick and all.

In the end, it was Erica herself that got hung to dry, just like Hamann.

The similarity with Esther's story is indeed striking!

Multi choice have already made their money, whatever they are getting now is return on investment. Do you know how many money spinning shows multi choice currently run? Do you know how much super sports channels alone bring into their bank accounts?

Okay I hear you, as you've made reasonable points. But this can only mean one thing though, Erica will be disqualified as she deserves at least a strike for those infractions.

But if she isn't disqualified but merely punished, then that would puncture big holes into your theory that no financial considerations were entertained in arriving at such a decision.

For the organizers, it's a balance between revenue and in-house discipline. True, Biggie might be giving them strikes, but the reason for three strikes equaling a disqualification is because 3 strikes, coupled with the possibility of strike forgiveness is expected to be a long rope to pull for any sensible housemate. However Erica was too fast for Biggie in accumulating strikes, especially when she was expected to be pardoned of her prior strikes today.

I am sure it is the organizers that asked him to do that! But the timing was wrong. She had just been given the final warning why trigger her emotions again? I think the organizers wanted her disqualified but used her weakness against her! Why continue to take alcohol when you know you can't control your self once you are intoxicated?

Her disqualification is of no financial benefit to the organizers. In fact it's revenue lost. If it were in the penultimate week, maybe it'd have been more bearable for them.

I'm sure that by next year, Biggie might include a psychiatric evaluation as part of the qualification requirements for candidates.

I know that everything Ebuka does would have been sanctioned by the BBN management. My comment was that the events of yesterday and a potential disqualification was a fallout of that interrogation by Ebuka. So my point was that if Erica gets DQed, Ebuka and by extension the organizers would probably have wished they had handled things a bit differently with the benefit of hindsight, cos Erica's disqualification gives them no benefit. They never knew she was a loose screw.

As it is, the integrity of the show is at stake, cos from all available precedence, all previous housemates that committed multiple infractions like Erica were issued strikes whether under the influence of alcohol or not. So on what legitimate basis will they let Erica go scotfree?

Las Las, Ebuka might have cost the BBN franchise huge money from Erica's voting fans for the final three weeks with his unnecessary table shaking last weekend. In hindsight, he'd probably wish he didn't resurrect a dead matter especially when Laycon and Erica had made up and were now cool just a day earlier.

But I heard it was Erica's fans that pressured Ebuka to put Laycon under scrutiny with that question. It has now backfired Kaboom!

I'm sure Ebuka sef will be doing permutation and combination of the potential consequences of any table shaking he wants to do again tonight.
