Kudos to you. I noticed that you were the first person to openly stan Laycon on that fateful first day. I started stanning him after he made the now famous "have sense" statement that same night.

I have never voted on BBNaija before even though I had favorites in previous seasons. But there is just something about Laycon I can't put my finger around that drew my vehement support. Ordinarily, I am a very busy person as I work in the professional services/consulting industry, yet I 've found time to vote for Laycon on different platforms again and again and also talk to people within my network about him. I never believed I could do this cos I'm usually passive about these sort of things. I believe there are a lot of Laycon stans like me this year (the so called miscreants) and that has made a whole world of difference.

Lewandoski's time was the just concluded season, unfortunately, there's no Ballon D'or for that. If you watch Bayern very well, Lewy is more of the finisher of the attacking moves. But Gnabry is one of the key drivers of the team with the exciting way he plays. He scores and creates chances as well. If both him and Lewy score a similar number of goals, more credit will go to Gnabry.

It's like people have not noticed that Serge Gnabry has gradually become a force in football. He's now one of the best players in the world. The guy has successfully taken on the Robben role and made Bayern not to miss Robben at all. If he continues at this rate and Bayern clears a treble once more, he might win the Ballon D'or next year.

I'm really struggling to understand where your hate for Laycon is coming from.

I somehow stumbled on pages 48 - 70 of this thread on the opening day of the show, and surprisingly saw that you were one of the first two persons to start rooting for Laycon while he was being massively ridiculed by others. You said people should watch out for him and rightly predicted many positive things for him that same night. You could have passed for a Laycon stan that same night.

So how come you lost sight of your own initial foresight only to subsequently toe the losers' path? Where did the unfortunate about-turn stem from?

Well let's say for instance your main SIM is one the Sims you used to create an Africa Magic account to vote.

Now when you sign into the myDSTV account with your smartcard/IUC number all you need do is go to vote now select contestant and click vote it will load a page asking you to login or sign-up, all you need do is put in the details of the account you used to vote on web.

That's the issue. Immediately I sign into the Mydstv account and I click vote now, it brings up a message that they are currently retrieving my account data and continues to load forever until it times out. I've been experiencing this issue for over a month now.

Phew! That was close, In the final few minutes before voting closed, I was able to hustle 2 lines and gave Laycon my widow's mite: another 400 online votes plus 32 sms votes all just before 10pm.

In total, 1200 online votes and 60 SMS votes for Laycon this week. I'll double that next week.

It's a pity I've been unable to activate Mydstv app for my compact plus subscription all month. See free 1500votes being laid to waste.

There'd also be other fans gained due to several other factors, but that does not nullify my first statement.

During the most recent US elections, you'd see analysts make reference to the probable impact of the black population in the US either voting for Obama/Democrats or voting against Trump. You don't see them tag it as racism in these contexts. It's simply a demographic evaluation.

When I said that Prince's 20% was at risk of being transferred to Ozo, I didn't mean ALL of the 20% were Igbos. My point was mainly about the majority of the 20% which I think might be induced by tribal affiliations since Prince has left. I also get the sense that most of Prince's core voters are Igbos due to his royal ties. I may be wrong, but it's a calculated guess.

To the extent that what I previously stated remains a possibility (unless you can tell me it cannot happen), then you cannot tell me I am wrong, in a mere bid to avoid any tribal references.

And for other housemates, I'll say the same if the dynamics are the same. I didn't refer to Nengi, cos Trikytee is still there. If Trikytee leaves, a portion of his fans might switch to Nengi, e.g Ben-Bruce had previously asked people to vote for his Bayelsan children (Nengi & TT). Same might also favour Laycon if there had been any strong Yoruba HM that had recently left, but there isn't.

For fans stanning Prince due to his ethnic background (e.g Cubana and CMC for instance), there is a likelihood that they may shift to Ozo in the finals (This is an objective possibility and not criticism). This will obviously push Ozo beyond the 27% band currently associated with him, if this happens. So I'm simply saying ICONS should prepare to respond in kind by voting much more beyond what they did last time to counter the potential effect of such alliances that Ozo may gather.

Surely, you know that there's demographic analysis involved in these kinds of voting at a national scale. You can't be that naïve.
