Jokerman:Even Ronaldo in his first spell at Man utd never play wetin Messi play for Barca at 19-21 years. Oya nau, 2 can play that game. |
Dem boot you off the team, your replacement come score hat-trick! Definition of being rendered useless. This disrespect for Ronaldo is just too much Piers must hear this! |
Gangster1ms:Better a contributor and win the world cup than a spectator and still crash out. By the way, I don't do personal insults, I'll advise you desist from that. |
One Pendu mosquito is whining by my ear seeking my attention, If I apply penducide now he go off. Portugal is better off without Ronaldo. Al Nassr will soon be as well. |
Gangster1ms:Lol GOAT of the bench so I agree with you. For some reason, I'm sympathetic towards your plight. Portugal is winning yet you can't be truly happy. My bad bro. |
Pendu is now a specialist in analyzing different bench types. How pendulums want to spin being considered a waste of pitch space as a positive development is mentally ridiculous. I can only imagine if it was Messi considered surplus to requirements, how their fangs will come out baring!
|
There is really no other way to say it. Same thing ETH has been trying to say for months... Portugal is better off without Ronaldo. Heck, all his teams are... |
ogbe88:Marca is fake news? You, an oldie, should have known the difference between fake and speculative news. But mbanu.. |
Gwan2:You mean bench-induced blisters lol. Whether at Man utd or Portugal, bench na bench. He will soon start dragging touchline coaching duties with Santos to counter that ![]() |
OJEEMAH:Hahahahaha, you mean those Pendu mods. No shaking, as e dey pain dem e dey sweet us. You see how they completely ignored Messi's scintillating performances this World Cup on FP. If their favorite had half of Messi's performance level we would not hear word. Chai, a whole Pendu don see finish; dragged at home, dragged by opponents and "disrespected" by the coach. Where will he find succour? |
Jokerman:I want him united with his new clubmates asap!
|
Jokerman:Nah. Behind the big old Shaq I stand. |
Jokerman:You know I used to support Portugal before...Thing is even if Portugal wins and Ronaldo does not have any impact after coming on, una go still dey make noise. Make noise pollution over nothing reduce small. |
Jokerman:How e no go dey bench, when they've been roasting him back home in Portugal for his poor performances. You think Santos will allow him cost him his job again? Let him go and report to Piers Morgan nau like he did over Bruno's goal vs Uruguay. |
Bimmarlykay:Lol you were right. Spain was disappointing in the shoot-out with Morocco. The thing is they always have to win in regulation time as they are too soft in approach for penalties. Since 2012, they've lost that ruthlessness in front of goal. It always comes back to haunt them. |
Bimmarlykay:Fair enough. The thing is sometimes you don't need to be better to win. England can defend well and they have a chance of an upset if they adopt a park bus counter-attacking approach vs France. Another potential finalist is Spain. If they beat Morocco and Portugal, they also stand a good chance vs France or England. |
Serves the Journalist right. How would you make such career damaging accusation just because you want to get under Eto'os skin? Eto was obviously incensed at the embarassing question in front of other fans which is why he reacted that way. Though he shouldnt have gone that far, but I can understand his righteous indignation especially when he feels innocent. |
tesppidd:You are right. Brazil and France look the strongest in all departments. That Upamecano guy is a beast. But England also look strong across board and can actually upset France unless it goes to penalties. But dont write Argentina off yet. They have the capacity to step up according to their opponent. See the way they completely dominated Poland meanwhile the same Poland troubled France defence on multiple occasions while they didnt get a sniff vs the Argies. |
FirstbornWds:Lol I thought I had responded earlier. I understand the initial comparisons cos Fati too burst out explosively. But I don't agree that he's a very likeable player as he tends to slander teammates e.g Neymar, Vitinha & his Coaches. Maybe if he improves on his attitude, I might become fond of him. There have been strong rivals that I genuinely admire and respect e.g Zidane, Modric, Benzema, Lewy (before he came), Ramos, Van Dijk, Salah, Mane, Lampard, Drogba (he always seemed to be supercharged vs Barca) and the common endearment factor is that despite their strong personalities, they are humble and dont belittle teammates. |
Bimmarlykay:Lol Mbappe has now trademarked the R2 curling far corner goal I dare say almost even better than Henry that he learnt it from. He also has a near corner shot equivalent which he used to score against Bayern Munich, R Madrid and most recently yesterday vs Poland. The frightening thing is he may not yet even be at his peak which is usually 24 - 28 years for most elite footballers. |
Bimmarlykay:Mbappe is too explosive way more than Fati. He's like a Dembele with the IQ of De Lima R9. But I've never really liked him and I dont think that can change anytime soon. |
HBB1:It looks like he'll end up being one of the all-time GOATs at this rate. His X-factor is what puts him above Haaland. |
Messi is GOAT. But K. Mbappe is currently the most fearsome and in-form player in the world. He is giving off Ronaldo De Lima vibes. Very ruthless player. |
jpmoriarti:I share the same sentiment. But mehn, Mbappe is inevitable. |
Lewandowski or Dembele? Who would you as a Cule prefer to go through? |
sterlingD:Nothing. They simply changed his set after they feel the impact has worn off. Even Okocha will not be in their studio forever. He is currently there to keep the attraction from the Nigerian segment of Multichoice. There also used to be 2 old white guys who were former English nationals; Terry Payne and Gary Bailey but they left as well. |
creolehunt:Okocha and Gyan were brought into the studio for their star power as African footballing Icons. Remember they didn't train to be good orators from their young age and were probably school dropouts. The Coach and the other guys though technically sound in speech cannot provide the charisma and history that those 2 exude. You saw how Gyan's presence during the Ghana vs Uruguay match was very iconic, how the event of Andre Ayew's penalty misery automatically created an emotional plot linked to Gyan's own experience 12 years earlier and with him watching the same thing unfold and to hear his take on it. You wouldn't get that with Coach Thumalo, Thomas Mlambo and the other SA pundit or even our very own Moses Praiz. By the way, it seems almost all English players can do punditry well maybe because of their educated technical background. So it'll be a mismatch to compare the Owens and an Okocha. |
I dont like how Argentina literally gassed out in the last 4 minutes which allowed the Aussies to almost snatch a last minute equaliser. They should have managed the game better but couldn't due to Lautaro's Higuainous wastefulness. Apa lomo yen. Although I know it's probably because they just played 3 days ago. At least they now have 5 days to recover for the game against Holland. The GOAT was unbelievable tonight. |
stillme231:In Argentina game against Poland had the highest world cup attendance since Italia 90. Most fans came to see Messi. |
Jokerman:Bro this is the wrongest timing to troll the GOAT. Just acknowledge greatestness when you see one as you are currently witnessing. I know Ronaldo has starved you of mesmeric football for the past 4 years so I dash you small part of Messi to enjoy what you've been missing ![]() |
Smashspesh:I wonder o. Dont blame him. He does not have the capacity to relate to the significance of being in a World cup final. |
