tesppidd:Makes sense. But it is whichever team that Argentina will beat that will go through shikena. |
To be honest, when Saudi beat Argentina in that first game, my belief that the team could go all the way was massively shaken based on the weak manner Argentina capitulated in that defeat. But then after the Mexico game in which Messi gave the dream a flicker of hope, I started to think the Saudi loss might be a Dr Strange vs Thanos moment; to stoop first and then rise to conquer. The hardest way the only way. Maybe that was indeed the only way by which Argentina could generate the extra force of will and experience required to push them past more difficult opposition until the ultimate victory; while at the same time fate throws up the choice of their would-be opponents at each stage to be the one that would be beaten regardless of strength. And so far, that has proven to be the case. On Sunday, the Endgame will unravel. May the GOAT and Argentina be its beneficiaries.

tesppidd:Bro I don't even know who at this point. I just feel whoever goes through is the one Argentina would beat. |
Numerouno94:Happy birthday bro!! May your years be lit as Messi lit up this World Cup so far. May God grant you several GOATed milestones in your life. Many happy returns. |
Kilishihunter:Lol Kilishi noted. I thought he had genuinely seen the light. If it's just a fickle statement designed to engineer some soft landing as you stated, then their misery at Messi's success will be unending. I've noted that they've suddenly become mature in their comments trying to use the longstanding rivalry to cover up Ronaldo's failure. Suddenly, it's both of them that are now goats. The emotional delusion is mind-boggling. They are not even smart enough to realize that with Messi's outstanding performance at this WC, he's already outside of CR's reach in the GOAT debate. Now, the issue of winning the actual trophy is to purely to certify him as the ultimate Goat above Pele and Maradona. |
Bacteria8:A sensible Madridista u are. You know Mourinho once said: "Messi is like porn that everyone enjoys in the cover of the night at home but denies in public" Some of your comrades are still in the denial phase ![]() |
Jokerman:Lol he and Messi both had 6 MOTM before this tournament. I think De Lima also had 6 at the time. |
EgusiShankly: |
Messi is the first player to score and assist in 3 World cup knockout games since 1966. GOAT. |
Yes, we made it! Shout out to Luka Modric, a legend and one of the greatest midfielders of all time. You came you saw and conquered. Kudos. Vamos Argentina to the cup. |
That 3rd goal is giving me Gareth Bale vs Maicon vibes in 2010. In less than 10 seconds, Messi just brought down the market value of World cup best defender Gvardiol by 50million pounds. GOAT things. |
Magnoliaa:Milady I'm aligned all the wayyyyyyyyy ![]() More pepper to the Pendulums. |
See how Messi turned the supposed best defender of the tournament inside out like fufu. GOAT things. It's incredible he does this at 35! |
Messssssiiiìiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii |
I need Di Maria in this game. I love his directness and energy. |
Jokerman:Lol, penalties are still rated lower than open goals. But at this stage of Messi's career I would not complain that he is enjoying the same thing Ronaldo had enjoyed for so many years e.g he scored 3 penalties last Euros and u people were exalting him. Let Argentuna win 4 more penalties from now till final I would gladly accept it and pepper you pendulums ![]() |
Jokerman:Well there was definitely more contact on Alvarez than Pendu vs Ghana. So yes he scored a banging penalty under pressure for someone accused of crumbling under the weight of the situation from 12 yards. Dont forget Harry Kane scored 4 penalties in Russia 4 years ago. Did you remove it from his tally. |
OhBritannia:Let's dare to believe bro. Imagine the odds against Portugal vs France in Euro 2016 final. Portugal had not faced any traditionally strong team in the run up to the final (faced Hungary, Poland and Wales), while France had just come out from blasting Germany 4-0 in the semi-final. 15 minutes into the final, Portugal lost their most high profile player, yet the unthinkable at that point happened. If Argentina can keep Mbappe relatively quiet like England did, they have a chance, because the French defence seems to concede chances and have not kept a clean sheet in this tournament. I also hope Dembele continues with his erratic decision making if the match up happens. Again, what if Morocco does the unthinkable? |
jpmoriarti:I thought as much. There are only four games left and with over 20 referees that started the tournament, it's obvious majority of the refs would have to be sent home. The Media just like to sensationalize things. I saw a foreign tabloid with an headliner: "Messi sacks World cup referee". That's just way over the top. |
What's the big deal if he masturbates? Something that I'm sure all the other players must have done in their rooms including CR too. Billions of people masturbate everyday. Tyson Fury openly bragged about masturbating multiple times before a crucial bout to help him relax and be in the right frame of mind. It's all these Pendulums looking for a scapegoat when their oga is the main culprit. Leave the young 21 year old guy alone, it's not a crime to score a hattrick, get picked for 2 games and masturbate afterwards. Maybe it was Pendu that even leaked the video |

Jokerman:Why do u summon me here? Your supposed peppering was more like spraying ketchup. With all what Messi GOAT has done and still doing, it was always going to be a tall order for Wasiuuu and yourselves to catch up. You gassed out in the end. Enjoy the oblivion phase. |
Jokerman:Leave Pessi alone, he's above you and your fave's reach now. Focus on fasting and praying for your rejected sacrifice to get a job cos he really needs it :
|
MJBOLT:Imagine, I didn't even include that era cos of the time span. Premium vawulence bro. May God grant that wish. Amen. |
Jokerman:Oga, they've been in the same whatsapp group since Figo's era in 1999. Since that time Portugal has always been a top footballing nation just like Netherlands of same era. Yes, there may be times when Argentina looked a bit better e.g in 2010 and 2014 but also times where Portugal seemed to have more quality e.g in 2006, 2018 and even 2022. In 2002, both were considered very strong and world cup favorites. In 2004, Portugal should have won the Euros against Greece after eliminating England and Holland, but a certain Cristiano spurned 2 glorious one on one chances and Portugal went on to lose and he started crying copiously just like against Morocco. Look for another excuse abeg. |
This ref has always been showing Messi and Barca shege in La liga since forever. That's why Messi was very wary of his officiating in that match. |
robosky02:This eerily looks Squid-game-ish. Like they have to be wary of one another. |
OJEEMAH:It's the funny way all of them have gone philosophical for me, including conjuring outright lies just to achieve some sympathy for Pendu. Imagine them saying Portugal was an average footballing nation before Ronaldo came. Was he part of Portugal's golden generation of 1999 - 2002? I watched Euro 2000 and Portugal was already a powerhouse in that tournament with Ballon D'or winner Figo. It took Henry and Zidane's ingenuity to dispatch them in the semi-final after Nuno Gomes had put them up with a lovely goal. In 2002, they were one of the pre-tournament favorites though they crashed out at Group stage like France and Argentina. These guys are ridiculous. Their tears of lies is sweeting me bro. |
Numerouno94:Even I am surprised he put this up. I think there are many undercover Messi fans who know Messi is superior but they famz Ronaldo because of likes and social media leverage. Mourinho is right to say Messi is like porn who everybody likes in the cover of their homes at night but deny in public. Or maybe Robosky has just seen the light that we have been preaching to Pendulums since time immemorial. |
