sonmvayina:My brother, the sin of Nineveh is a sin that is possible because of the original sin. Nineveh signed albeit to a great degree like many people do sin daily, even righteous people of bible time. The original sin, that as made everyone weak in flesh, and that has everlasting damnation as it consequence is what made Christ come. Everyone both the righteous and the unrighteous will die. But no one would have had the hope of resurrection if Christ didn't give is life. May God bless u |
HomoDroid:My brother I am responding to ur reply not to win argument, but because of the love of God. First, I had pointed out that KGV of the bible needscserious work on it, still when you read it with logic and open mind, you will still understand it, especially if you compare a topic with other part of the bible that speak on a similar topic. An example of a part of the bible that can help to explain the "I and my father are one" is john 17 from vers e 11. Here Jesus was praying and asking God to make his disciples one, just like him and God are one. Logic will tell you here that Jesus prayer isnt to make is 12 disciples morph into one single entity, but his prayer is for them to be united just-and now note Jesus used "just" like him and God her united. This exactly is what Jesus mean in that john 10:30, 38. Me and my father are in union (instead of my father is in me)will be a more appropriate translation now, which is exactly the way other modern translations render it. Jesus further clarify his relationship with God in that same john 10: 36; he told those who wanted to stone him that "do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said I am Gods Son?" Lastly you suprised me the way you morphed Abraham, Isaac and Jecob together. Don't we pray now "the God of Babalola, Kumuyi and Adeboye? Yes you can say this people are united in their believe about and worship of God, but does it mean they are one entity? People that like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob leaved in different time and are definitely going to die differently? KAI my brother, be careful!!!, |
HomoDroid:My brother for your sake and others, pls stop propagating the teaching of the Devil unwittingly. The bible clearly teaches that God and Jesus are two different being God his the FATHER, while Jesus is the SON. To further understand this, the story of Abraham and Isaac was a pointer to the sacrifial death of Christ. Was Isaac the same as Abraham? Did they have the same authority? The king James version as some shortcomings about its translation. Its an old translation, written in an old English language and at a time when ability to research as not improve to the level we have now. Mind you the original word of God is unchangeable and it influence never wane. I love you. |
sonmvayina:Universal justice demands to correct a wrong, you have to give back what was taken. Mankind had failed, and they were doomed for destruction. But Gods love couldn't just allow him leave the work of his hand to this terrible fate. And his sense of justice couldn't let him act like a totalitarian and just close his eyes and reset everything. Remember, there are "clouds of witnesses" including angels and demons around. If he just cancel man sin, angels maybe could have been having doubts in their mind that God doesn't stick to his laid down rule. Demons might have felt justified about their revolt and maybe even think their sin as well wouldn't be punished. Jesus knowing the mind of God,willingly gave his perfect and everlasting life as a ransom so Mankind can get the perfect and everlasting life they lost back. You see the wisdom and love of God. |
Kano kingdom is an important kingdom amongst the kingdoms in Africa. It is also an important and strategic institution in the history of Nigeria. The occupants of the seat before HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II played a significant and dignified role in making Nigeria what it is today. They respected themselves. HRH should emulate his predecessors and not play to the gallery in a manner that ridicules his own heritage. http://ogashub.com.ng/emir-sanusi-is-an-enemy-of-islam-who-only-wants-to-ride-in-a-rolls-royce-gov-yari/[/quote]If its this former rulers "significant and dignified role" that have made Nigeria what is is today? Then they where a failure. I support Sanusi on most of the diagnosis and prognosis he has been given about the north. The truth is just bitter for this people to swallow. How can you try to implicate God for ur shortcomings. Na only una, other regions no dey. One love. One Nigeria. |

rifasenate11:Don't let the haggard look of this villagers deceive you, its mostly due to malnutrition. 2) if you are counting the generation of people they have brought about? Remember this people marry early, like from the age of 13 to 16. 3) and if you hear them tell stories of 1914, they may have unconsciously adopted the experience from stories they themselves have heard from before now. |

The world's oldest person has died in Italy at the age of 117, reports say. Emma Morano was born on 29 November 1899 in the Piedmont region of Italy. She was officially the last person born in the 1800s still living. She had attributed her longevity to her genetics and a diet of three eggs a day, two of them raw. Ms Morano was the oldest of eight siblings, all of whom she has outlived. She died at her home in the northern city of Verbania. Her life not only spanned three centuries but also survived an abusive marriage, the loss of her only son, two World Wars and more than 90 Italian governments. 'Good genes and eggs' Ms Morano had admitted that her longevity was partly down to genetics: her mother reached 91 and several sisters reached their centenary. But it was also down to a rather unusual diet of three eggs - two raw - each day for more than 90 years. It was a regime she took up as a young woman, after the doctor diagnosed her with anaemia shortly after World War One. She had cut down to just two eggs a day, and a few biscuits recently. Her doctor of 27 years, Carlo Bava, had told AFP news agency that she rarely ate vegetables or fruit. "When I met her, she ate three eggs per day, two raw in the morning and then an omelette at noon, and chicken at dinner." 'I didn't want to be dominated' Ms Morano also credited her longevity to her decision, in 1938, to kick out her husband - a year after her baby boy died at just six months old. The marriage had never been healthy, she said. She had been in love with a boy who was killed during World War One, and had no interest in marrying someone else. But, she told La Stampa newspaper in an interview when she was a spritely 112 that she was left with little choice. "He told me: 'If you're lucky you marry me, or I'll kill you'. I was 26 years old. I got married." Eventually, it became too much. Though they separated in 1938, they remained married until he died in 1978. Ms Morano, who worked until she was 75, chose never to marry again. "I didn't want to be dominated by anyone," she told the New York Times . She had only taken on a full-time carer a couple of years ago - but had not left her small two-room apartment for 20 years. According to the US-based Gerontology Research Group (GRG) , the world's oldest human being is now Jamaican Violet Brown, who was born on March 10, 1900.www.blaksun3000..com

FlirtyKaren:See idiots, its like when you accidentally have money you don't work for you tend to loose ur brain |
LionDeLeo:I hate all divorce. The emphasis on this is because its the latest one, "northern", factor isn't the determinant. Some problem from a partner may be due to some underlying mental deficiency maybe as a result of stress or sudden loss of sense of security. Let's assume as the husband you suffer this kind of malady, will you justify your wife if she leaves you? Isn't marriage supposed to be for better for worse? |
LionDeLeo:My brother, separation is evil. Relationship is about sacrifice and perseverance for the greater good. Divorce poison the society. They have two kids remember-young kids-, what become of them? How do they properly develop with the sudden loss of their father to another family? Did he just realised she isn't compatible after this years. OK. Let's assume she suddenly started behaving irrational, isn't that a sign she needs help and support. My "northern brother" what is behind most divorce is SELFISHNESS and pursuit of "the easy way out". |
LionDeLeo:My "northern brother", its not really about the money, you may say it will serve as a deterrent, that stops him treating ladies like a property that you can acquire and dispose at will. It will make him consider divorce as really expensive and see that "when you want to send your half away, be prepared to cut ur life in half'. |
May God divide the family of anyone that want to divide Nigeria The former Central Bank Governor, and Emir of Kano His Royal Highness Muhammadu Sanusi the second , surprised guests present at the Muson Centre for the launching of the book of Sir Olaniwun Ajayi. Below is his unedited speech. “Let me start by saying that I am Fulani (laughter). My grandfather was an Emir also fulani my uncle and guardian was also the immediate late Emir of kano Alhaji Ado Bayero and therefore I represent all that has been talked about this afternoon. Sir Ajayi has written a book. And like all Nigerians of his generation, he has written in the language of his generation. “My grandfather was a Northerner, I am a Nigerian. The problem with this country is that in 2009, we speak in the language of 1953. Sir Olaniwun can be forgiven for the way he spoke, but I cannot forgive people of my generation speaking in that language. “Let us go into this issue because there are so many myths that are being bandied around. Before colonialism, there was nothing like Northern Nigeria, Before the Sokoto Jihad, there was nothing like the Sokoto caliphate. The man from Kano regard himself as bakane. The man from Zaria was bazazzage. The man from Katsina was bakatsine. The kingdoms were at war with each other. They were Hausas, they were Muslims, they were killing each other. “The Yoruba were Ijebu, Owo, Ijesha, Akoko, Egba. When did they become one? When did the North become one? You have the Sokoto Caliphate that brought every person from Adamawa to Sokoto and said it is one kingdom. They now said it was a Muslim North. “The Colonialists came, put that together and said it is now called the Northern Nigeria. Do you know what happened? Our grand fathers were able to transform to being Northerners. We have not been able to transform to being Nigerians. The fault is ours. Tell me, how many governors has South West produced after Awolowo that are role models of leadership? How many governors has the East produced like Nnamdi Azikiwe that can be role models of leadership? How Many governors in the Niger Delta are role models of leadership? Tell me. There is no evidence statistically that any part of this country has produced good leaders. You talk about Babangida and the problems of our economy. Who were the people in charge of the economy during Babangida era? Olu Falae, Kalu Idika Kalu. What state are they from in the North? “We started the banking reform; the first thing I heard was that in Urobo land, there will be a curse of the ancestors. I said they (ancestors) would not answer. They said why? I said how many factories did Ibru build in Urobo land? So, why will the ancestors of the Urobo people support her? “We talk ethnicity when it pleases us. It is hypocrisy. You said elections were rigged in 1959, Obasanjo and Maurice Iwu rigged election in 2007. Was it a Southern thing? It was not. “The problem is: everywhere in this country, there is one Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba and Itshekiri man whose concern is how to get his hands on the pile and how much he can steal. Whether it is in the military or in the civilian government, they sit down, they eat together. In fact, the constitution says there must be a minister from every state. “So, anybody that is still preaching that the problem of Nigeria is Yoruba or Hausa or Fulani, he does not love Nigeria . The problem with Nigeria is that a group of people from each and every ethnic tribe is very selfish. The poverty that is found in Maiduguri is even worse than any poverty that you find in any part of the South. The British came for 60 years and Sir Ajayi talked about few numbers of graduates in the North (two as at independence) . What he did not say was that there was a documented policy of the British when they came that the Northerner should not be educated. It was documented. It was British colonial policy. I have the document. I have published articles on it. That if you educate the Northerner you will produce progressive Muslim intellectuals of the type we have in Egypt and India. So, do not educate them. It was documented. And you say they love us (North) more than the south. “I have spent the better part of my life to fight and Dr. (Reuben) Abati knows it. Yes, my grandfather was an Emir. Why was I in the pro-democracy movement fighting for June 12? Is (Moshood) Abiola from Kano ? Why am I a founding director of the Kudirat Initiative for Nigerian Development (KIND)? “There are good Yoruba people, good Igbo people, good Fulani people, good Nigerians and there are bad people everywhere. That is the truth. “Stop talking about dividing Nigeria because we are not the most populous country in the world. We have all the resources that make it easy to make one united great Nigeria . It is better if we are united than to divide it. “Every time you talk about division, when you restructure, do you know what will happen? In Delta Area, the people in Warri will say Agbor, you don’t have oil. When was the Niger Delta constructed as a political entity? Ten years ago, the Itshekiris were fighting the Urobos. Isn’t that what was happening? Now they have become Niger Delta because they have found oil. After, it will be, if you do not have oil in your village then you cannot share our resources. “There is no country in the world where resources are found in everybody’s hamlet. But people have leaders and they said if you have this geography and if we are one state, then we have a responsibility for making sure that the people who belong to this country have a good nature. “So, why don’t you talk about; we don’t have infrastructure, we don’t have education, we don’t have health. We are still talking about Fulani. Is it the Fulani cattle rearer or is anybody saying there is no poverty among the Fulani?”, he said. This is a great message to our generation. In 1923, nine of the wealthiest people in the world met at Chicago's Edge Water Beach Hotel. Their combined wealth, it is estimated, exceeded the wealth of the Government of the United States at that time. These men certainly knew how to make a living and accumulate wealth. Attending the meeting were the following men: 1. The president of the largest steel company, 2. The president of the largest utility company, 3. The president of the largest gas company, 4. The president of the New York Stock Exchange, 5. The president of the Bank of International Settlements, 6. The greatest wheat speculator, 7. The greatest bear on Wall Street, 8. The head of the World's greatest monopoly & 9. A member of President Harding's cabinet. That's a pretty impressive line-up of people by anyone's yardstick. Yet, 25 years later, where were those nine industrial giants? Let’s examine what happened to them 25 years later. 1. The President of the then largest steel company (Bethlehem Steel Corp), Charles M Schwab, lived on borrowed capital for five years before he died bankrupt. 2. The President of the then largest gas company, Howard Hubson, went insane. 3. One of the greatest commodity traders (Wheat Speculator), Arthur Cutten, died insolvent. 4. The then President of the New York Stock Exchange, Richard Whitney, was sent to jail. 5. The member of the US President’s Cabinet (the member of President Harding's cabinet), Albert Fall, was pardoned from jail just to be able to go home and die in peace. 6. The greatest “bear” on Wall Street, Jesse Livermore committed suicide. 7. The President of the then world’s greatest monopoly, Ivar Krueger, committed suicide. 8. The President of the Bank of International Settlement, Leon Fraser, committed Suicide. 9. The president of the largest utility company, Samuel Insull, died penniless. What they forgot was how to "make" life while they got busy making money! Money in itself is not evil; it provides food for the hungry, medicine for the sick, clothes for the needy. Money is only a medium of exchange. We need two kinds of education: a) One that teaches us how to make a living, and b) One that teaches us how to live. There are many of us who are so engrossed in our professional life that we neglect our family, health and social responsibilities. If asked why we do this, we would reply that "We are doing it for our family". Yet, our kids are sleeping when we leave home. They are sleeping when we come back home!! Twenty years later, we’ll turn back, and they’ll all be gone, to pursue their own dreams and their own lives. Without water, a ship cannot move. The ship needs water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will face existential problems. What was once a means of living for the ship will now become a means of destruction. Similarly we live in a time where earning is a necessity but let not the earning enter our hearts, for what was once a means of living will surely become a means of destruction for us as well. So take a moment and ask yourself, "Has the water entered my ship?" I hope not! Hope the above story will drive all of us in a better direction in life. ''Alone I can 'Say' but together we can 'talk'. 'Alone I can 'Enjoy' but together we can 'Celebrate'. 'Alone I can 'Smile' but together we can 'Laugh'. That's the BEAUTY of Human Relations. We are nothing without each other. www.blaksun3000..com |
Lacomus:My thought exactly. Na those people. They really dey follow her bumber to bumber, even to the last meter. At 32? Just few hours to her destiny, then Devil showed up, that same Devil that as made her waist her time already. |
Well I didn't want to talk before...OK, it was way back in my primary school days, I think class 4 or so. I was a mummy boy, I was overprotected, i was only sorrounded by my aunts, i lackd any experience and coming from a very "serious" Christian background, I was somebody you could refer to as"Bolo". I even had an apt nickname, "Pomo riro". I became so timid around girls. I wasnt sure of the proper way to behave around them. Because of all this I didn't develop fast socially, I became carefree and had no sense of responsibility so to speak. Then this day in class, I was sitted and discovered my short is torn, and because I wasn't wearing pant, my "blokos" just came out hanging. Oops. I didn't know if I should stand up and go outside? What would I tell the teacher? I tried to code myself but didn't know how this girl Tope-almost the biggest girl when you consider physical characteristics, "she don dey develop breasts wey some " big" boys they handle inside our Lab locker-just found her way under my desk and with some funny gaze up towards me, she started handling with my balls!! I felt so embarrassed. I didn't know if I should shout and scold her? No! I thought this would only attract others attention or maybe make them burst into laughter if they have already noticed but just controlling themselves. I would occasionally look down at her and give her some measured stare. Well that was how it went. I can't remember how I survived. I am a Don now when it comes to socializing thanks to the "borden house" I later went to at Bussa, Niger state. TOPE if you are their, you are most likely married now, I just want to say you tried. |
Dothraki::oHaaaa, this is serious oo |
She is a mumu to have rejected those lawyers offer. She may be trying to play nice, like those wealth are not the reason she married Musa in the first place, and she may still be hopeful that things turn around eventually. But things don't work that way. She needs the money for her security, and to discourage Musa treating divorce lightly in the future . Moreover, when you are a virtous homegirl, and you are in competition with CALABAR ladies, based on logistics, you are DOOMED. |
CastedDude:This move by the bride might backfire. Cos, comparing her arse with her friend may make her husband to be have a rethink. She has the least attractive arse! |
Eyaa, I pity him sha...its just like some ladies that are still pained after years of breakup. This especially when they remember how they suffered with the guy but now they are seeinghim enjoying the spotlight alone. This Blackface might need help to move on. |
