The truth is that most Igbos bordering other states have intermarried with the neighbouring tribes which led to the language deviation (dialects) from the core language.
U lied, u can't categorically call those clans you mentioned as not Igbo since you can't really provide proof of their ancestry.
Most of the places that Igbo language, being it the dialects are spoken, understood, bears Igbo name, with cultural similarities are majorly of Igbo ancestry.
The much spoken language dominates the lesser spoken ones.
U will notice the ancestry with the ease at which these people from those clan you mentioned switch to Igbo izugbe, the central Igbo fluently when they are conversating with igbos from different states.
