Since the ratification of the SUG High court judges and SUG Supreme Court Justice, the court has been busy with the suit instituted by Thompson Jotham against the Electoral Commission and 2 others seeking among many other reliefs an order directing Electoral commission to conduct an election between the claimant(Thompson Jotham) and the 2nd Defendant (Samuel omokhudu) for the position of the member representing the Faculty of Physical Science Department of Computer Science at the Student Representative Council.
And AAU online news was on ground to know the stage of the proceeding. We have the opportunity to speak with the Claimant Counsel E. O Dibofu Esq. Principal Counsel of the Jakpor Law Office Campus Chamber, Attorney General of the Union O. S Olayiwola (SAA) and counsel to the 2nd defendant.

DEAR CLASS MATES�
Some of us didn't further our education after secondary school some of us further to university some of us got married yet some of us are not married. Some of us are still struggling with life, some of us are already settled �.

Some of us are still finding it difficult to eat two square meals in a day. Some of us have traveled abroad.

Some of us went back to village, some of us have seen real hell and still facing hell n some of us the last time we sat in a classroom was the last day we wrote our secondary school exams, in Short life is not cool to everyone.�

The fact that u are settled and doing well doesn't mean others are in the same page with u when ever u call or run into ur old classmate, let the conversation be simple!! That we are still alive should be a thing to celebrate ✌.
Stop making ur friends feel less valued because u are married, Engaged or done with school.

Life is filled with ups and downs.
Life can turnaround�
Never forget that you once had a best family in the local government of secondary School, remember how we all used to be.. remember who used to help you out in exam Hall..
Remember that most of the exams we wrote back then was not just about your intellectual effort but the collective efforts of your fellow classmates.

Just remember how we used to fight for each other and even answered present for each other in our absence in class.

What about how we helped one another during the compound work days?
This is the time you have to pay and show your classmates some love now that you are in a better position.
You can stretch your hands and be a blessing to your fellow classmates instead of mocking them simply because you're in a better position than them..
Life is not predictable.

Something has really been bothering me for a while now.

Guys, how do some of you even cope with dating a broke girl?

I mean:

A girl who doesn't have transport fare to see someone who she claims she loves every damn time.

A lady who can't get you a birthday or a Valentine's day gift, but expects you to bring down the world for her during hers.

Someone who can't comfortably call you on phone for 5mins. Always flashing and complaining she doesn't have airtime.

I mean how do you guys cope dating a lady who thinks relationship is an occupation; where she is supposed to be paid and taken care of?
Even if it's an occupation, what services is she actually offering to be privileged to receive such benefits?
Or is she a ghost worker?

(NB: sex is not a benefit ONLY to men)

How do some guys manage to date such ladies?
No wonder suicide and depression victims are mostly men.

See guy, don't ever date a broke girl no matter how gorgeous you think she is. They are serious liabilities.

Rather date a lady who adds something beneficial to your life. Things like emotional intelligence; financial intelligence; spiritual intelligence and other intelligence.

Date someone who's capable of calming the storm within your soul (an average man has enough storms); and not someone who adds stress to your life.

And most guys are still dating these broke ladies just because they think they're so gorgeous or hot, and they're so lucky to be dating them, and would probably not find another woman as gorgeous and flawless like their broke girlfriends.

Forget that yehn yehn talk, don't tolerate any woman's brokenness or stupidity just because of her physical beauty.
They're actually a lot of extremely gorgeous and beautiful ladies with common sense.

So don't ever think of settling for less brother.

One thing I've realized about all these broke girls is not that they don't actually have money...
Most of them do; but it's just that they're mentally broke, which is way worse than not having money.

Ladies please don't be mentally broke.

A Federal High Court sitting in Kano State has dismissed a bribery suit against Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, for lack of evidence.

The suit was filed by a Kano-based lawyer Bulama Bukarti.

The lawyer asked the court to mandate the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to investigate Ganduje for allegedly receiving a kickback from a contractor.

The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu, has suspended the rally of a faction of the All Progressives Congress scheduled for Benin, Edo State, on Friday.

The faction is loyal to the National Chairman of the party, Mr Adams Oshiomhole.

The IG’s letter suspending the rally was communicated to the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Philip Shuaibu, about one hour ago.

The deputy governor showed a copy of the letter to reporters in Abuja.
