Please keep the contributions short and sharp. There is a larger purpose here.

The crux of the matter is what is the extent of your allegiance to Bola Ahmed Tinubu?

1. Have you knowingly assisted in defending corrupt practices?

2. Can you allow fair prosecution of BAT if he is found guilty of corrupt enrichment or misappropriation of funds? (particularly if these acts took place while you were Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Lagos State)

You both are terribly amusing, like a friend said: I can't make you understand what you're paid not to understand. (However, if you both are doing this for free then....)

Jaideyone:
keep focusing on other people while ibos are the clowns entertaining the whole country already. at least the Yorubas had someone to rally round and play opposition. your ex-governors are already jumping ship to the Islamic ewedu party and you are here worrying yourself about another region. the joke is on you grin
BTW mention one ex governor in the south east that has remained relevant like tinubu 10yrs after leaving office. we know the kind of leaders the SE has produced. we know ohakim, okorocha the clown, the two failure orjis, ikpeazu the drama queen, peter obi the con man, etc. we know the kind of leaders the south west got through BAT and how well they are doing we know the way Lagos has left the whole country behind, how Ogun is now the most industrialized state in Nigeria, how Oyo has been rescued from the hands of PDP cankerworms like Akala, how Osun is building schools and roads. keep hating on people that remained in the opposition and developed a blueprint to move their region forward while your region is busy playing catch up.
bonus: don't you dare mention obingo and his three flyovers. Amosun built at least 7flyovers in his first term in office and we didn't worship him
You're talking about leaders! do you know the irony? the Igbos allegedly don't have leaders but they have developed their people. The Yorubas have leaders but have developed their leaders to the detriment of the people. Which do you think is better (use your normal mind oh, not 'office' mind).

PS: I am not Igbo, so obviously in spite of your personal conviction, you are not clairvoyant.

LexngtonSteele:

You are already the butt of jokes. Using GLO maybe, GTB maybe, and definitely registering on NAIRALAND owned by a Yoruba.
Enriching the Yoruba with your stupid posts grin You are a comic relief NOW. Not even the "not distant" future you wrote! tongue
You that are listing Glo of all companies what have you contributed to Nigeria eh? Mr. smarty pants?

Stop name dropping and leaching off other people's success, it just means you don't have anything to bring to the table.

PS. if I ask you who owns Glo now you'll tell me Mike Adenuga.... undecided

When you feel a compulsion to always politicise everything along the lines of PDP vs APC, you end up exposing your own ignorance. Since you claim the power crisis makes APC a failure, let's go down the road and determine who the bigger failure is.

PDP spent over $24 billion on power between 1999 and 2015 ($16 billion by OBJ and $8+ billion by GEJ). But what did PDP handover to APC with regards to power supply?

1327mw was Nigeria's exact power generation figure on the week when PDP was handing over to APC. Your statement of 4000mw is either out of ignorance or a deliberate attempt at misinformation. So now that you know the truth, and since you want to play the apc vs pdp game, kindly tell us who is the bigger failure?

I backed him DAT u can't blame fashola but Jonathan.Fashola thought d privatisation was a true one and then expected that things should have been easier since government no longer runs d sector.Little did he know until he gets to power that d Jonathan's privatisation was a fraud and mere arrangement to make more billionaires like he boasted. When Buhari came and made a move to scrap d privatisation,u guys were d ones shouting, now enjoy ur shambles.
Fashola was aware of the dodgy privatisation when he made his criticism

How do you criticise a person only to get into the person's shoes and do exactly what you criticized that person for doing if not that you are;
A. A career hypocrite
B. Bereft of honour and good conscience
C. As clueless as the person you criticised ab initio
D. A reckless individual with verbal diarrhea

Fashola on getting to office after flagging the fact that the privatisation is dodgy now categorically states that he WILL NOT cancel the contracts

“The Federal Government will respect and uphold the contract it has been committed to and inherited from the past administration.
“I am not in charge of power sector to revoke the privatisation agreement signed three years ago,” the minister said.
According to him, the government has nothing to gain from sending investors in the power sector parking, following calls from some quarters asking for revocation of privatisation of the sector.
“If those calling for revisiting of the privatisation of the power sector meant to say improving the governance, performance and efficiency, then, I am here for that.
“If revisiting it will mean that Distribution Companies (DISCOs) should open up and investments should come in, I am for that.
“If it means that the entire power sector will become very efficient, I will support it.
“But, I will not support cancelling of the contracts we had with them.
“If we revoke privatisation of the sector, investors will carry their bags and go, they will tell others that Nigeria is not reliable for investment,’’ Fashola said.

The last three sentences in bold show the acute hypocrisy of the man - sacrificing present integrity for future integrity (I hope you get this)

You can't categorically blame Fashola because GEJ sold all PHCN asset to politicians and his cronies. They have not invested one naira into the old failing Nepa Facilities and their contracts cannot be easily terminated, until the present govt find a way to terminate that contract and work on their own ideas,if they now fail you can start blaming Fashola.
You CAN categorically blame Fashola because this scenario was the status quo when he offered his criticism.

That he's now unable to perform shows him up as one who has a character deficit, one who grandstands at the expense of those who can't provide for themselves and one who but for the semantics of serving under a different platform is THE SAME as the people he criticised.

Who does this back and forth with FOREX favour?

Clearly not me or most Nigerians

Question of the day: Which rate did Buhari use to get FOREX to travel?

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ... 70 71 72 73 74 75 76 77 78 (of 101 pages)
