Rubbish. Why not comment on the igbo coup and how it was unfair of then to have slaughtered politically exposed people from other tribes whilst safeguarding their own.?
So because some igbo soldiers did something wrong, the entire Igbo race is culpable as well. In order words, u r justifying the actions of those that slaughtered innocent Igbo solidiers and civilians for no reason. Sad.

Google is your friend my broda.

You don’t have to take everything I said. You can make your own research and then counter what I said.
I haven't seen it anywhere that's why I asked. Besides stating dat Nigeria is the largest rice producer in Africa is bad interpretation f statistics. Rice production per capita is a better stat to work with. Nigeria doesn't produce enough rice; which is why it's the 2nd largest importer globally.

Debaiz:

Hate him or love him that unity and promotion of local content is the handwork of OBJ.

I remember back then when he(through NBC) banned foreign musics and movies from Nigerian airwaves. B.C.O.S Ibadan used to show Indian films on Friday, Chinese films on Wednesday and American films on other days. They all stopped and were forced to show Nigerian films. AIT started showing English(Igbo) films. Then we also started hearing the likes of Olu maintain, Hedris abdulkarim, tony tetuila, plantation Boiz, tony one week etc.

He didn’t stop at that he encouraged comedians like Alibaba and the likes by constantly having a comedy slot on FGs public programs. These actions gave rise to Nigerian entertainment industry but the music industry exploded far more than anyone could’ve imagined given the advancement of the US music industry then.

The idea may not be his(originally) but kudos to him for the courage to implement it and follow through.

I can’t help but to bring the other things he banned that we are now enjoying massive local production.

Cement importation was banned.
Dangote, BUA Group and Larfarge took advantage of it and became what they are today. Today, we not only export cements, but we export cement companies as a whole(dangote cement company). Jobs for Nigerians and savings on forex. Higher foreign deposit. Stable currency.

Importation of vegetable oil was banned
Now we have mamador, Sunola, Grand oil, Power oil, Devon kings oil etc produced locally. Jobs for Nigerians and savings on forex. Higher foreign deposit. Stable currency.

Importation of Poultry products were banned
Now we have Zartech, Tuns, Obasanjo farm, Ajanla farm and scores of businesses in either small scales or large scale. Jobs for Nigerians and savings on forex. Higher foreign deposit. Stable currency.

Pasta was banned which gave dangote and flourmill the opportunity to produce spaghetti locally. When last did anyone saw a foreign produced spaghetti in any Nigerian shop.

Same goes for noodles. We now have dangote noodles, Indomie noodles etc produced locally.

Obasanjo went as far as arresting shop owners and supermarkets that still displays and sells those banned products then. A lot of people went bankrupt through poultry products seized and destroyed. Today we are the ones enjoying the long term effect.

PMB came in he banned importation of rice. Today we are the largest producers of rice in Africa. We are also the largest importer of rice in Africa. Meaning we are not yet there but we will get there.

Again they have restricted access to forex for milk importation, enemies of progress have started antagonizing it.

If you know what is good for you as a Nigerian, start your own RUGA on that your family land. That 2million you want to blow on a wedding that may crash after two months, go and buy 10cows and let them start producing 100liters of milk each per day. That’s a total of 1000liters of milk per day, 30,000liters per month and 360,000liters in a year. Get a company to sell them to and start expanding.

If you have N2million you’re not using come and borrow me o. I have RUGA to start in my fathers compound.
Nigeria, largest producer of rice in Africa? Do you have sources?

So a white foreigner called Lord Lugard decided who you are and your forefathers who ensured you came into existence come second?

In other words, you are first a colonial creation before being an indigenous son of the soil?

Even the British that are responsible for making you a Nigerian, a Scottish man will never say he is British first before being Scottish

You people should stop peddling this stupid falsehood. We are, and always will be, first our ethnic identity, before we become whatever identity the white man gave us through the barrel of the gun
indigenous?... Lol. Not like u had the opportunity to choose your ethnic group. Your ethinic group was an accident, same as your nationality - a strong reason why saying bad stuff about other tribes (in favour of yours) is unwise. Not like your tribe is visble at the skeletal level.

gringringrin... Your username says it all. It's so sad that millions of Nigerians believe this lie. This is the same man that endorses men who loot; goes on random trips that bring zero value to the country.
Since 2015, has the lives of average Nigerians improved? Electricity? Access to water? Enabling environment for doing business? transport? Or do u think things will magically turn out well in his 2nd tenure? Yet u come online to show support for a morally and intellectually bankrupt politician.

This! That's why Nigeria is where it is today. Why does everything have to be analysed from an ethnic point of view? Who benefits? Not like the Emefiele guy (or any other public official) cares about anyone else but himself.
The funny thing about ethnicity is that u had zero say on what tribe to belong to at birth. That means if u were born into another ethnic group, your stance on Emefiele would be different. So sad. Why not analyse stuff from an ethic-invariant point of view?

Really? But they've still got our billions of pounds (or trillions, considering it was a 70 year rule). Why should we forget that and ''move on"? And now they're giving us advice? Dude please, don't annoy me this evening. The least they can do is STFU. They're in no position to criticise corruption in Nigeria while still holding on to their loot from this country.
Annoy u? Lmao. Without colonization u would have still been in the bush. You'd have been using leaf to clean ur ass. Malaria and other diseases would have been your relatives.

Colonization and slavery are things of the past. Did he colonize you? What stopped ur forefathers from laying the foundations for a better world for you? Rather they took part in enslaving one another. Fighting senseless ethnic fights.

Who is HE to talk about corruption in Nigeria??

He should ask his fellow British colonisers what they did with all the billions of pounds they made from 1897 to 1960, exporting our cocoa, rubber, tin, palm oil, groundnuts, coal, iron ore, timber, aluminium, etc etc, such that at independence in 1960 we were an underdeveloped bush with mass illiteracy, no major power station, no expressways, no major industry, and near zero infrastructure. In fact as late as the 1950s, our national football team travelled to England on a tour and played BAREFOOT because the colonial regime had starved them of basic funds for everything, and they'd never seen football boots...

The audacity of these people....

That's history - you move on. Some foreigners would laugh at the situation; but from his words, he sounds concerned and sad.

I am yet to see the gender equality proponents fight for the rights of the female gender to shed their blood for their precious "one nigeria"!!!

If more women decide to take participate in the military, would u now start supporting gender equality in politics?

When everyone in the society is given an equal chance of participating in nation-building, everyone profits.
That there isn't talk of more women joining the military shouldn't be a reason for people not to voice their concerns about women's participation in politics.

Maybe you should focus on the message here , rather than on the messenger.
Defrauding people of their hard earned money is a crime, and using slave trade or colonisation as an excuse doesn't justify it, cos the are not scamming the people that benefited from colonisation like the Queen of England and her family ,and other Families who made their wealth from the slave trade, but ordinary working class Europeans who are just trying to eke out a living.
The whole slavery reason doesn't even make sense.

How about you? Some folks openly defended a crime and u r criticising those who criticized them.

It's either u r for yahoo or against. From your response, it sounds like u r for yahoo. It's only criminals, that when caught, say stuff like - "why me?", "am I the only one?", "the politicians are also doing bad things."
