Politics › Re: Sheikh Gumi: Bandits Are Going Nowhere by Thunderfayayou: 9:52am On Sep 06, 2021 |
Authority1o1: Okay...
I object.
The proposition that Fulanis are stereotyped is wanton, but to a degree, it is true. But the unbalanced and lopesidededly bias defense which Gumi threw in favor of the Fulanis is pathetic. When one is given the proper gravitas about the origin of the Fulani Violence, one would find out that they are infact defaulters from adam.
Fulanis are immigrants. Before now, they were treated like locals; like full-blooded indigenes. They were allowed to trade, move goods and properties and livestock. Everyone, myself included, had no prejudicial resentment towards them, not withstanding their history in other African nations. Not withstanding that they are imminent conquistadors. One who isn't so good at history would think they were always one of us.
Then, the cattle rustling began. They understood that they were in a politically organized state. They understood the due process. They understood that they could always tender their aggressions at the feet of local rulers or petition to the government. Gumi could dismiss this claim by quipping that they were not literate. Nonsense. Fulanis aren't animals, they knew they could always do the right thing, of course.
But they didn't. Instead, they joined in the illegal act of rustling which the Sheik tried to justify. He further claimed that the rustling and the after effect led to the magic of self-defense and consequently triggering their fears which led to the violence they are known for today.
When IPOB formed an outfit christened ESN, the Federal Government stampeded all the way to the East to stall their activities and to kill the Terrorists off. The Federal Government expected the Igbos to follow due process. They didn't expect them to fight back in an illegal way. They didn't expect such self-defence— same self-defense being justified—the Igbos wanted to put up. They blindly encouraged decorum.
If IPOB's self-defense has led to their killing and arrest and intimidation, I don't see why the Fulani Terrorists can be dealt alike. You are right but Fulani's don't believe in too many grammers. They only believe in action. |

He should better find out who he's been talking to. It's either he soliloquizes or hallucinates and confuses it to be God talking to him.
For someone who communicates frequently with God, I can't believe God has not told him to chastise Osinbanjo for remaining quiet inspite of all that's happening. Daft Adam talking here. Even with PhD you will never understand what he said |

gidgiddy: You may remember Elvis Okafor. He went out to buy food for his sick mother in Orlu, Imo state, when he was accosted by security agents, accused of being IPOB/ESN, beaten and bundled to the Owerri, along with 20 other randomly arrested men. They were stripped to their underwear and made to take pictures with Biafran flags, arms and ammunition and drugs. The then Police Commissioner of Imo State, Abutu Yaro, gleefully paraded the innocent men as "ESN Operatives". Unfortunately for Abutu Yaro, relatives of the arrested men, including Elvis Okafor, raised the alarm on social media about how the men were framed, and this attracted the attention of mainstream media, including Punch Newspaper. As questions were raised about the legality of the men's arrest, Abutu Yaro was hurriedly transferred out of Imo State to protect him. Elvis Okafor has been released on Police bail and below is the report:

Militant30: As a Rivers Man I don't think this is our problem rather Ikwerre people's problem because they see this administration as an opportunity to conquer all land like the Fooolanis.
You don't need to demolish a market because of hoodlums,if that is the case it mean that all the markets in Rivers State will be demolished because their are hoodlums everywhere.
After the commissioning of Mile 1 market it's still under lock and key till today.

WowSweetGuy: Prince Kpokpogri has been on the news lately for allegedly cheating on the actress and complaining about the actress’s repentant behaviour in a voice note.
However, Kpokpogri and Tonto Dikeh have remained silent on the issue even after earlier promised to address the issue, making the rounds on social media.
A curious social media user had messaged Kpokpogri soliciting with him over the crash of his relationship with Tonto Dikeh and advised him to be careful when discussing with people via phone.
