I'm having serious issues with Amazon. They took down 3 of my books and even blocked my account.

Their reason is that the books contained pictures that can be found freely on the net.

Where else do they want me to get pictures for illustration if not from the internet

- Your book is ranking #1 for its main keyword "Asking for help"
- The cover art looks nice

Bad
- Your book is ranking #1 for a unprofitable keyword with no demand
- The title on the cover is barely legible (white font color on a white/green background is horrible)
- The subtitle too is barely legible (brown font color against a brown/green background)
- The price point is too high considering your book has no social proof (i.e. reviews)
- The book description isn't compelling (there is no emotional appeal to make a purchase)
- The book has no preview (when a customer clicks into it, they don't see any sample that'll help them get a feel for what they're buying)
- The sentence "Give this book to a child and you have given him, and you have given him an edge." looks like a typo
- The structure of the title/subtitle isn't maximizing exposure at all

It's not expensive compared to the value of the information you're getting. People can learn from their own mistakes (with the loss in money and/or time that comes with it) or they can learn from other people's mistakes.

I've made a lot of mistakes in my publishing business and my mentees get the privilege of avoiding those pitfalls that befell me.

Besides, with the mentorship, I'm exchanging my time for money which is why it has to be at a premium considering what I earn and the value of my time.

The Blueprint, in addition to the newly released keyword research video, is much less expensive because it doesn't involve me exchanging my time for money. In those resources, I'm just giving out my knowledge.

There's a limit to how many people I can sustainably mentor at any given time and still run my own publishing business..I only have 24 hours in a day

Followed up with one of my mentees today. He has only one book at the moment and in the process of publishing a second book. He recently made $125 in audiobook royalties from his only book and I'm confident he'll surpass that with his second book.

Oh ok..if you're writing yourself then there's not much you can do. Just try and publish in a keyword that doesn't have much competition so you can atleast rank on page 1..the more people see you the more likely you will sell (assuming your book cover and description is good)

You need to first of all take a step back and figure out what didn't work out with the other two books, learn from it and them implement better in the next books....otherwise, you'll just be making the same mistakes with future books and eventually run out of money or lose motivation and the will to continue.

I think the problem is low exposure as I can't afford to run ads for now. And I write the books myself. Maybe quality may also be an issue.

I discovered few ways to increase exposure, but the books must be remodeled and republished for the method to work.

If they have been there for a long time maybe..but if you only just published them a few months ago I'm not sure. It's best to email KDP support and confirm..they're ultimately the people that make the decision on what's allowed and what isn't

Okay. They're just about two months old and haven't made any sales.

Maybe I'll just leave them and make new books since it's only two books.

Is it okay to unpublish your books and then republish them again?

I want to unpublish and republish all my three books because they're not making sales, so I want to remake them.
