afrodoc2: [/b] I did not say Ole should play all the youth players. A few of them have been putting in good to great performances at youth and reserve level and have been identified by the club as players with potential. They should be given the opportunity to prove themselves.
The same SAF gave Luke Chadwick 25 EPL games before sending him away. He gave Ronnie Wallwork almost 20 EPL games before sending away. Jonathan Greening got over 10 games and even made the squad for the 1999 UCL final but within 2 years he was sent packing.
Fletcher got so many games despite struggling, with people claiming SAF was using Scottish quota to pick him before he came good.
Frank Lampard struggled initially at West Ham with people claiming that he got into the squad because his uncle was manager and his father was assistant.
If you say you believe in a set of youth players it is nonsensical to claim that after a few minutes of football they are no longer good or should be discarded.
I don't know which of this set (if any) will make it at United but so far this season they have not had enough opportunity. But OGS hasn't binned them yet. The season is still young and there are a lot of games to play. So don't conclude yet. I'm sure we will see some of them in the last two Europa League group matches. So don't be an alarmist just yet. |

For me , j believe a player like Rashford will come good eventually. Even it took Ronaldo some years at Man UTd before he started being productive. And Sir Alex believed in his abilities that is why he kept faith with Ronaldo. Ronaldo started having end product and high goal return in his last 2/3 season for Man utd. Ronaldo was like Rashford during his early days with dribbles and runs with no sense and end product. Even Giggs said it in one of his interviews that they used to complain about him , that he doesn't have good team work. But when Ronaldo got better, it now turn to be s case of just getting the ball to Ronaldo and he will do his magic.
So Rashford needs time. More so, his goal return this season will be better than last season. He has 8/9 goals in all competitions already despite being wasteful and will probably get btw 15-20 by end of season if he keeps his heads down and take his chances as they come, which will be an improvement against last season.
My own is that A proper striker should be bought to give Martial some competition, since Ole doesn't want to Rush Greenwood into first team football, which is very understandable for the young boy.
I guess the coaching crew don't want to make the mistakes that our former coaches have made concerning easing young players gradually into the team |

elampiro: You want us to sell the way Mourinho sold Salah? One thing is sure, No matter what any coach says, the club is not selling Martial or Rashford anytime soon. Any coach that comes to Man utd will have to work with them or buy his own players and make Martial and Rashford squad players. |

eph12: Gomez has not done anything for us to believe he's better than what we currently have and he's had a couple of chances And it seems Ole is done with Gomez and Chong. He has given those youngsters enough opportunities to asses them. It's only Williams and Greenwood that passed the test, that is why they are still in the team. Garner is presently undergoing the same test, and I hope he also takes his chances |

Comparing us to any African country is even an insult sef, because it will be a Mutually assured Destruction (MAD) |

. And as long as dstv has the right to the EPL,losing the broadcasting right of CAF tournaments won't be enough to make them lost customers to start times...
na CAF go suffer am If they acquire EPL rights, they will spoil market for DSTV because they will give it out cheap just to acquire market share. Even without EPL, look at the leagues that they have right to and check the price. Do you think DSTV will give u such service for such ridiculous price? Oga, even DSTV themselves can't say what you just said. They know that it just takes one major Bleep up for Startimes to swoop in All in all, Startimes still have a long way to go and those chinkos are working tirelessly to take a bite of the pie. And as per CAF, they can't suffer shit, cos DSTV is not the only TV that has broadcasting rights. Las las, Companies like Startimes or Kwese will buy those broadcasting rights from CAF for the Sub Sahara Africa region. |

They need more dribblers that will complement Brendan Rodgers style of play. And to people asking that who will he bench? Football can be funny. He might get to Leicester and become an integral part of the team. A certain Young Daniel James was bought to man utd as a squad player, it then turned out to be a first team player and one of the best forward in the team. larride: It seems our current run of wins is making some fans blind to our this team set up to play. We still don’t have any creative midfielder bar Pogba. We can’t be deploying joint defending and counter every match day. We practically surrender possession to our opponents and try to hit on counter. This issues are still there and must be worked upon.
We need technical creative midfielders that can break down defenses with a pass. Direct players like KDB. I said it during Mou’s time that if Pogba wants to go, he should be allowed to go and use the money gotten from his sale to invest in 1 or 2 solid CM and AM. It doesn't take away the fact that pogba is overrated. I as a person always wished OGS had bin him instead of Lukaku. Lukaku was still giving his all, despite his deficiency. OGS could have bin him and bought 2 correct Midfielders with the money. But it seems the Man utd management still wants pogba around |

I still pity the deluded British man united fans who thinks he is better than lukaku I'm sure most man utd fans knows that , they are only furious that Lukaku wasn't upgraded with a replacement. Infact rashford wasn't expected to play as a central forward, because he's a winger. Martial was the man that was suppose to play the no. 9 position, but unfortunately, that one spends more time in the sick bay than on the field |

My stance remains that Rashford is not an average player but is slightly above average and a fine talent. Believe me... The lad is not as bad as some make him out to be. He is no where near world class but he is also slightly above average at least. Tammy Abraham should just fasten his seat belt in the England bench. He won't displace Rashford in a long time to come. Even if Rashford doesn't score, his work rate and versatility is what will always give him an edge over Tammy. He can dribble and create too |

darkelf: I don't need him to score goals. At least an assist every two matches isn't a bad idea. Iwobi is inconsistent and unreliable. The reason I am hammering on this is because he seems to be our only AM at the moment and thus when he has his bad days, it affects the whole team. This isn't good for the Super Eagles. He does his job as a 10 well, which is to create chances and carry the ball to your forward players as quick as possible. He might not be a fancy ball hugging kind of player but he's very efficient. Modric that is a balloon d'Or winner, how many assists does he have ? But modric is rated because he does the simple things efficiently and transition the attacks very well |
