I say (write) it again, Brendan Rodgers will do a far better job with this United squad than that scam of a manager. Still love him though as a club legend, he should do us and the club the honor and resign asap.
Fact

Ole's appointment was done based on emotions instead of Merit. He didn't merit the Job, they just gave him based in emotions during the winning streaks If Ed had waited till the end of the season, may be we would have appointed someone better

I won’t waste my time if it was Fred he was comparing with Ndidi because I will know it’s effect of the weed.

That Matic comparison is just getting me annoyed as if it’s not the same Matic we watch.

Look at the screenshot below, it is Kante stats for 16/17 season when he won PFA Player of the Year. Matic ko, machine ni.
I swear. Some people are just funny.

In my own opinion sef, Ndidi is still very underrated

@weedtaker, you deserve cane for comparing this current Matic to Ndidi.

Nonsense.
Bros you get time o.

All those people that talk Ndidi down whenever he's been classed as a potential world class DM are just doing so out Inferiority. May be because Ndidi doesn't bear the name Ndidinho or he's not European, that is why grin .

A lot of people that rate Ndidi highly or even class him as a top player are not even Nigerians/his own people but Foreigners and football analysts that knows the game wella. So I'm not even surprised anymore when they start bringing up some names to compare the guy with.

The straw that broke the camel's back is the Fred and Ndidi comparison. Like WTF. Comparing Fred to Ndidi tgat hàs been on top of his game since the first day he came to the EPL 3 years ago. For crying out loud , that slow poke called Fred can't even trap a single pass played to him properly. They are now comparing him to Ndidi. That Fred comparison shit broke my heart I swear. it just shows the level of inferiority complex in some people's head, and how lowly they rate him just because he's our own. Well, they usually say that a prophet is not always respected in his hometown
EducationRe: 2018/2019 UI Postgraduate Discussion Thread by timay(m): 3:39pm On Oct 26, 2019
lilliesboy:
This BIAS, particularly against postgraduate students coming from OTHER (African) universities and/or NON-Yoruba has been going on for MANY years in the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They only PRETEND about it. If you ask (postgraduate) students/graduates of the University of Ibadan that came from OTHER universities, many of them will confirm what I am telling you.

One major and popular thing they use in identifying and differentiating THEIR own University of Ibadan alumni/first degree holders from OUTSIDE or NON-University of Ibadan graduates is the MATRICULATION NUMBER: all THEIR Unibadan products carry Matric Numbers that begins with number "1," while OUTSIDERS or non-Unibadan (postgraduate) students carry Matric Numbers that begin with "2". Once lecturers/staff see a student's Matriculation Number that begins with "2," they QUICKLY hold a stupid BIAS against the student and begin to NEGATIVELY judge their intelligence/academic performance based on that.

Records have shown that many Nigerian postgraduate students who came from OTHER universities had OFTEN outshine their so-called ONLY "best/brilliant" University of Ibadan alumni/products academically and otherwise. Thus, many lecturers and non-academic staff feel insulted and threatened like they are not good lecturers since it invariably means so if their students are not better than those coming from other universities or NON-Yoruba ethnic group. To justify this, they OFTEN score non-Unibadan or OUTSIDE students very LOW in exams but give their (dull) students/alumni BETTER (unmerited) grades and advantage. They also complement this injustice and systemic corruption by ALWAYS talking DOWN on non-Unibadan graduates or making a caricature of them in comparison to their own (dull) students in order to DEMORALIZE them (OUTSIDE students/NON-Yoruba) by making them feel TIMID or like they do not know anything and never merited their (first) good degrees. This is clearly a form of PSYCHOLOGICAL warfare and should be punished if Nigeria was an advanced society with a high rule of law.

These systemic corruption and injustice are the MAIN reasons why so MANY (Yoruba) students in this part of the country, most of them DUNES, are awarded Ph.D, made professors, SAN etc., than the rest region of the country. It is because they are in CONTROL of the (educational) system, NOT because they are the most intelligent. I tell you, SO MANY of them with Ph.D. and Professorial degrees/tiles know very little or NOTHING compared to those in the Niger Delta and other areas. I and others who have lived here KNOW what we are talking about. Na DASH dem dey DASH many of dere pipul here wit dos (UNMERITED) degrees and awards.

Imagine "postgraduate" students who cannot speak neither write a simple good sentence; some of them in class even talk in YORUBA when presenting seminar paper since they cannot speak in simple English. Their papers are full of many grammatical blunders and misspellings; I and others even help them to edit their works. Yet, whenever results comes out these set of (Yoruba) students ALWAYS score HIGHER - 60% and above, than many of us who are NON-Yoruba and/or NON-University of Ibadan alumni. So much injustice, corruption and so-called tribalism here. Hypocrisy of the highest order!

I will NEVER relent concerning those poor seven (7) results! Let them do their usual gang up and manipulation to subvert justice and cover up their evil tracks; I will not relent. This matter may go very FAR if they do not do the right thing! Those are NOT my real scores and can NEVER be!
Oga Calm down.

UI has records that is why when you finish UG in UI, your use the same matric number during your UG for your PG whether masters or PG. That is why graduates from other unis and UI products usually have different matric numbers. If you don't know something, you should have asked and stop being ignorant

I understand your sentiments man, but be that as it may, we can all see the progression; from the Super Cup loss to the United loss and then to our players gassing out every 2nd half of match day and others plus our rusty defence tactics, there is serious improvement and that’s what the whole celebration is about.

I for one attacked Greati.ihex when he compared Zizuo to Lamps style and opined that Zizuo was lucky to win his titles. Lampard is still a work in progress and he knows this and a better portion of we the fans acknowledge this as well that’s why there is no pressure whatsoever for him to succeed. We just want to play very well and if the win comes, beautiful.

The Sarri Foundation BS gist is DOA. Lamps is tweaking formation to suit each opponent and play his games. Hazard was the only bright outlet in Sarri system and most of us feared for the worst after Sarri and Hazard left... but see what Apostle Lampard has done to the church building...

It’s nearing its completion stage. cool

Buyout clause don't mean shit. Clubs only make buy out clauses to be high so that the players won't be priced for peanuts when big clubs come for them.
They do it so that they can have an upper hand during negotiation. If Chukwueze wants to move, Villareal can't see more than 50million.

Thank you

A good quality player from the Championship will not struggle to adapt to the speed and physicality of the EPL.

A player coming from the European top leagues not all may take time to adapt, Pepe comes to mind.
Look at Daniel James, Abraham , Tomori, Mount and a host of other championship players coming into the EPL including the ones that promoted with their clubs have all hit the ground running, meanwhile, the ones from other leagues that came into EPL are still struggling to find their form.

This is the reason why any decent players in the championship is always rushed by EPL teams, whether mid table or top table

I have said that the Championship is the most competitive and financially buoyant 2nd tier league in the world.

Top strikers in the Championship can cost in excess of £30 million. This is something the mid to bottom section of the top 10 leagues in Europe will struggle with.

It's not uncommon for Championship sides to beat EPL sides in the FA cup.
True

that is why a lot of EPL clubs are more comfortable buying players from the championship, cos it's more like home away from home, as the players don't struggle to adapt to the EPL

All those trolling idiots saying Ferguson won't win trophies in this era are jokers.

Do you know that the reason why man utd is struggling immediately after Ferguson left was because they couldn't do anything meaningful with the players he left?
That old man knows how to make ordinary players look like world class, because he knows how to use them according to their strength.

The subsequent coaches came and they couldn't utilise those average players again to do shit.

People say that Ferguson was outspending his rivals, I will say that it's total bull shit. The man even rarely buys world class players. He just buys above average players and use them to their strength , thereby making them look world class. He also buys players with potential, e.g Rooney and Ronaldo , and turns them into beast.

The people that started big money spending in England was Chelsea and Man city. Those two clubs started that virus. When other clubs saw that it gave those clubs success, they followed suit too The outcome is the over inflated transfer window we have today

With the right selection and offensive strategy, I have no doubt we would have caused Brazil problems. A flash back goes to the first half against Ukraine and the second. On the offensive, we caused them loads of problems and in the second half, we looked ordinary with negative play.

I still believe we can cause lots of top teams problems if we adopt a more offensive strategy and build on it. Reduce the comfort of our opposition with the ball and attack spaces with pace when we win the ball.

Abeg let's stop using this height thing to condone the shit Onuachu has been giving us. The guy is simply not eagles material and worse he doesn't fit into the eagles style of play.

You don't have to be a pole to be a good striker. I'm sure a lot of average guys are taller that Aguero , yet he's tearing EPL apart as a striker every season. Even Osimhen has a decent height , so it's not as if Osimhen is short. If we are to get someone that will deputise Osimhen, let it be someone that can equally do damages like Osimhen, and not someone that has only one useful part of his body

People do not understand the importance of Ndidi... Brazil were not slicing up through the middle. Ukraine was. That is the difference.
His positional discipline was the reason why Brazil wasn't slicing any ball through because he was solid in the centre. He was the reason the Brazilian Midfielders went to the wings. because that was the only option for them. No wonder all Brazil chances came from crosses came from the wings.

If we had Ndidi against Ukraine, may be we would have defended our 2 goals lead or ended the match on 2-1 at least
