wenogodie2: There was nothing like propaganda. The world mounted pressure on Putin and warned him of deadly consequences. He knows he can't fight the world.
He has no choice than pull back. That is if he doesn't still attack in his usual stubbornness You mean the whole world will go to war because of a freezing wasteland in Ukraine? Seriously? You do realize every country has their shit to deal with right now. Even Germany who is the biggest EU member and France to some extent had shown sign of not joining any war for Ukraine and have always insisted on dialogue. And these are the big guys in NATO that vetoed that Ukraine should not be admitted after they applied, because they don't want a conflict with Russia in Europe |

jstan360: The door is still very much open for Ukraine to join NATO if they so wish...the US keeps stressing that every nation has the right to choose its own path - that's freedom, that's democracy Tell that to Cuba. Afterall they had the freedom to choose their own path by aligning with the soviets, but it will threaten the security of USA , hence USA almost invaded them without giving them freedom of choice |

afrodoc2: Was that his point? Did he say he was a bad player?
He said they chased him for 50m and you are now comparing him to McTominay.
The fee is the point he was trying to make not whether he is better than any specific player? For the record, Longstaff is not better than Mctominay, despite the fact that Mctominay is still shit. Now imagine buying Someone that isn't better than your academy product for 50m. That is how ridiculous Ole's transfers were in 2019. The same way they bought Wan Bissaka for 50m and a lot of us knew from the onset that he's an offensive liability who isn't better than Dalot or some of the fullbacks in the U23 |

And those ones already legally did Referendum before that to join Russia. Ukraine just refused to let them go and Russia took it by force in 2014. |

afrodoc2: Still suspended pending the outcome of the police investigations. I have read that his contract stipulates the maximum duration of suspension as 2 weeks but United are going to find a way to extend the suspension until further notice.
Unless he is completely exonerated he is looking at either worst case scenario of jail time or best case scenario of his contract being voided and moving abroad to start afresh.
Either way if he is not completely exonerated he has probably played his last game as a United player. However what he is fighting for right now is his freedom cos jail time is a real possibility. Jail time if he's convicted of rape. But for normal assault, I don't think he'll get jail time for that. He'll get suspended sentence or at least a fine, since he's a first time offender. The Rape case is his main issue |

They usually has out after 60 minutes Max. Well, they've played drab football for 3 years, so their lungs aren't used to playing high intensity football for 90 minutes just yet Also adding the odd individual errors from some of our useless players as well, which has been plaguing the team even under Solskjaer. |

His current tactics is good in the long run. He's making the team play more as a team. His team have been on an Upward trajectory right from they 1st day and hasn't shown any sign of decline. FIFA ranking is the best metric to determine that and they've been climbing without dropping for the past 3 years. With this AFCON win , they will enter top 15 in the next ranking, cos they were already in 20 before. |

pahars: What this nations cup as shown is that to win a major competition you need atleast one class player in your team. Mane and Salah have not been that spectacular in this competition but they have been very crucial at vital moments for their team(with goals and assists). Nigeria lack such star figures, that's why we will struggle to win major tournaments. LoL I beg to differ. In cup competitions, you need a lot of luck as well. Infact, after playing good football, luck is the next best thing you need in cup competitions because it's not like league , where you can always remedy the situation with other games. Remember, Senegal could have easily been chilling at home with Algeria after the group stage, no thanks to the last minute penalty in their first group game. It's a fact that they were really poor in that group stage, and could have easily been sent packing, if not for mother luck |

afrodoc2: Yeah that is one point i also raised earlier. The Glazers will not waste time in dumping him to avid social and financial backlash. The other thing is the dysfunction in the club would be worse if he gets to share the same dressing room with team mates that dumped him like a bad habit when the going was tough for him.
This is relevant only if he is not in jail however. The police most likely allowed bail without charging him cos the girl has refused to co-operate with them, which makes the job much harder for the cops. What they will be trying to do right now is gather enough evidence with which they can charge him WITHOUT the girl's help. @Your last sentence, The police will find it hard to do that part. Their only chance of doing so is from the audio clip, but it seems it wasn't much of use because they have released him without any charge yet. They probably must have listened to the whole clip, and it seems not adequate Enough for conviction. Because from that audio, it was 15 minutes long and only a snipet of 50 seconds was posted online by the lady. The 14 minutes of the remaining clip probably changed the contest of the the whole incident, during which the recording was made |

afrodoc2: Very dicey. The truth of life is that talent will grant you 2nd or 3rd chances that will not be afforded to other less gifted people. His major problem is with the criminal justice system. If by some miracle he escapes them he might still have a decent to good career but likely not at Man Utd if the reports of his team mates unfollowing him are true.
It is just a pure bloody mess and there are no winners to be found, just losers all around. Man United is a publicly traded company, so PR matters to them, because of their share market movement. That's the only reason he won't play at the club again. He would probably move abroad after this, if he manage to scale through the mess. Probably Italy |

The photos posted were taken in May 2020. Around the period he stopped getting England call up despite playing better than those that were called up ahead of him. And whenever the Press asked Southgate about him not getting call up, he always gives shitty reasons that are not football related |
