afrodoc2:He's obviously a badly raised person. It's now obvious that his arrogance on the pitch also translate to his lifestyle off the pitch |
Maximilan:But why does that shit always happen whenever it's Tunisia playing ![]() Tunisia sef get spiritual problem. ![]() |
That Collins Fai of Cameroon would have had like 5 assists in this tournament. The guy's crossing has been the difference for Cameroon in this tournament. |
zuchyblink:Dribbling is part of the game that can open up defence and these guys also cross the the ball too, the difference is that their crosses are always terrible. Liverpool play ghen ghen football, incorporated with a lot of crosses. That's why when you watch Liverpool's game playing against a stubborn defense, where Mane or Salah cannot break their defense, you start seeing Henderson, Arnold, Robertson will start spamming dozens of crosses into the box. By the time they do so consistently for like 10-15 minutes, it's either they score directly from one of the crosses, or indirectly from a rebound when the opposing team is trying to clear their lines and they make a mistake. After that first goal, flood gate usually open, because that stubborn team will end up stop defending and come out, from there, space will open up for Salah and mane to feast. |
Joezinho:It's the oldest, simplest yet effective tactic to implement., yet over the years, we find it difficult to do. The frustrating thing about it is that you don't need a lot of technically gifted players to implement it yet we somehow can't use it even against minnows. |
darkelf:Honestly. It's a waste. Even the full backs that crossing out to be one of their duties are even worse at it. Terrible something Imagine having Onuachu, Osimhen and co in your team yet we don't score headers regularly. After Cameroon broke the deadlock, look at how space is now start to open in that Gambia defense just because Gambia don't have a choice than to come out now. |
A good cross can always break the tightest of defense. Just look at how Cameroon scored from a good cross. So far in this tournament, Cameroon has scored a lot of goals just because they have good crossers of the ball. Our own wingers and full backs are terrible at crossing the ball despite the fact that we have abundance of CF who are good in the air. What a waste for us |
mostob:fair enough |
mostob:100% Impossible. Even Arsenal won't do it , if roles were reversed. |
mostob:No way in hell Man UTD will allow any player move to a top 4 rival on Loan. |
Devvy4:All these, including camp Nou Naming Rights for a paltry 60m per year? WtF!! They are cheating Barca o. |
do4luv14:I won't take that serious. This same Senegal has only scored one goal in the tournament so far , coming from a penalty and hasn't scored from open play. Senegal is that bad at the moment ![]() |
metodman:Surprisingly we didn't loose control, despite removing Fred, a midfielder for an extra attacker. The thing shock me. LoL. It seems RR is beginning to get through to the boys. |
Bbbwings:LoL. The guy doesn't know that all Animals are equal but some are more equal than the other. It's the reality of life unfortunately. |
WoundedLamb:And the USA almost invaded Cuba, until last minute negotiation breakthrough happened. Because it also happened that the soviets too don't want to start another world war. If Ukraine joined NATO, I'm sure Russia will Invade them and it's either NATO withdraws or they respond with force as well leading to a full blown world war. |
WoundedLamb:The conditions Russia gave are more than reasonable. USA and not should respect themselves too and follow it. They will do more than Russia if they were in Russia's position. The Cuban missile crisis already set that precedence. Imagine, Russian establishing an international organization like NATO and countries like Mexico or Canada willingly accept to join, you think the USA will just fold their arms and watch it happen? Don't be naive bro, USA will also threaten those countries including an option of invading them. |
WoundedLamb:You mean the way the USA dictated to a sovereign country like Cuba when they independently accepted the soviet's to site a missile base in their country and US almost invaded them because of it. Keep deceiving yourself. Imagine Mexico accepting to have a Chinese or Russian military base in their country. You think the USA will not fight tooth and nail yo stop it because they will feel it threatens their security? Afterall, Mexico is a sovereign country and can make their own decisions ![]() |
Amoto94:I don't know why some coaches fail to understand that an 100% fit average player will always be better than a burntout or half fit prime maradona in the pitch. An unfit player is evenore detrimental to the team. |
AndSunGorilla:So if Ghana had drawn that Comoros game, they would have qualified. ![]() That Ghana team is just foolish and useless ![]() Modified: Nope, a draw won't have been enough ![]() |
Papi85:To be fair, I can count on one hand up to 3 to 5 local coaches better than Rohr and those substandard foreign coaches we usually hire. Their problem is that they always lack sufficient backing from the NFF,as well as the fact that they sometimes work against themselves by calling up low quality players ahead of better ones because of peanuts they'll get from players agents, thereby hampering themselves in the process. I don't know if it's village people dey cause am. if these guys can give themselves brains and reduce their corruption small, we won't need to hire any washed up white coach for the next decade. |
Nyanabo:Trust me, if the case happened in UK and not US, they would have buried the case in house. No be today them dey cover up royal family scandal in the UK. But it's difficult in the US. Infact they've tried to cover up the shit unsuccessfully for sometime now, that's why the case has dragged for this long. They had no choice than to sacrifice him. UK is not saint when it comes to corruption too. So make uba rest. |
SadiqBabaSani:it can only mean one thing, the case against the prince would probably be a slam dunk one in court They probably would have done their own in-house and Private investigation on the case and saw that there's no way the man won't get bagged in open court, so they just saved face by stripping him of his titles now before the shit gets worse in court and make the royal family look like some sort of no - nonsense place. SMh |
mirinder:LoL. Iceland that has regressed as fast as they went up , after the world cup. Iceland is no more different from the shitty average European team presently. I wonder what happened to them |
daveP:I won't be surprised if that happens. Afterall, the Useless FIFA has already laid the groundwork with the recently organized FIFA Arab cup |
CornOak:The rope camera can be installed in any stadium, covered or not. The only difference is cost. It will cost less to install in a covered stadium compared to a low and open stadium where additional things will be added to allow for it's installation. Cameroon as a whole just did a shoddy hosting job. The weren't prepared for VAR usage. The decision to use VAR was taken by CAF less than few months ago. Both CAF and the host country just did a shoddy job |
Stormtrooper11:A lot of people have said it here before, a lot of African teams do themselves a lot of disservice by hiring shitty and sib standard national team coaches , whether indigenous or Foreign for their national teams. See senagal with good players but will still struggle against mid European teams for world cup because they have a terrible technical department. |
Android22:Abegi Which other team dem get apart from this one. Them be Man City? ![]() |
Android22:Lil. May be it's not Mourinho, may be Roma just have some combinations of bad luck, spiritual problems and village people factor ![]() |
Lana1:I know football is that way. But come on, it's Mourinho team na ![]() It seems the talk of Mourinho not throwing away leads is now a myth and it's now dead and buried ![]() |
Android22:Like wTF!!! I just checked live scores now. And I was shocked. They were leading 3-1 and the thing don turn to 3-4. Like how do you go from leading 3-1 to conceeding 3 goals under 10 minutes. Like WTF!! |
Searchingvictor:If they offered him 500k truly, then I'm sure he'll extend truly. Normally, no club on earth will give him that kind of money. Not even PSG because they already have a lot of overpaid players on their books. Pogba and his agents won't have a choice but to sign. God, the people running the club are so foolish. |
Trevor012:Gbam!!!! Short and simple It's the "let's give him time to turn it around" talk that made an incompetent mofo like Ole to spend 3 years at this club. And I should also add that those useless people running our club should stop giving coaches 3 years contract. 2 years should be the maximum. It helps to keep the coaches under pressure and not get relaxed. So a shit. coach can be easy to sack without thinking twice due to cost implications. Also they should be ruthless with recruitment too. Underperforming players should be sold or loaned after 3 years at the club. That way, you will have players that will give their all to impress every time on the pitch so as not to get loaned into obscurity |
