Ellexy: Tbf Dan James was sold for a decent profit. Whereas Ole gave us Maguire and AWB, let's not forget Mourinho also gave us McFred. Mourinho didn't give us MCfred. Mourinho gave us a decent squad player in Mctominay, who is an academy graduate and cost the club nothing. Mctominay is never meant to be a starter but a backup/ squad player to fill in from time to time Woodward gave us Fred to prevent him from going to Man city. |

Celtic was fined by football governing body, because their fans supported Palestine during the height of isreal onslaught in the Gaza strips
Mesut ozil was asked to keep quite and not bring world politics into football when he cried against the killings of Muslim in Myanmar.
But man city players were seen wearing flags of Ukraine's, zinchenko was given the captain band just to identify with the Ukrainian.
Other sport governing bodies have sanctioned Russia
My question is why bring world politics into the beautiful sport we have come to love DSTV didn't remove it intentionally though. RT satellite feed comes from a satellite TV provider SES in Luxembourg, in which all other TV company all over the world get RT news from. They are the ones that cut RT off. RT will probably move to a new satellite provider in the coming days or weeks |

Svlla: If Ukraine was so sure of its air dominance they would be sorties and taking out a massively compacted 40mile long column of Russian military hardware advancing on Ukraine That's because there's none. Russia bombed all the strategic Military Bases and airforce base all over Ukraine before starting the invasion. So they are depleted in that area. That's why they kept begging NATO to help secure their airspace since 2 days now , but we all know that those ones can't do shit for now |

TrueNigerian300: Now, this would have been the sensible things to do instead of the suicide path the foolish presdent has taken. Why not focus on joining EU first and be economically powerful and then focus on your military strength to fight later This is not anything bravery but stupidity!!!! Isn't it obvious that he's(Ukraine President) not in charge of that country? For all we know he's being heavily backed and pushed by the US. Who knows , he might even be a CIA agent. No genuine president who loves his people will subject his people to this kind of suffering and death just to please the west and ignore his neighbor with whom they have long time history with. Neutrality is the obvious way forward for that country , but for some strange reasons he's refusing to go that route. Na, that guy is a CIA agent whose first objective will always be to fulfill the interest of the USA before anything |

soojar: Fifa was forced to take that decision. They initially proposed neutral venue and under another name instead of Russia, but 16 countries made it clear they cannot play against Russia now under any circumstance.
Should Fifa then ban 16 countries for not wanting to play Russia or Ban Russia to save face? The feelings of the protesting country doesn't matter. According to the letter of the law written by FIFA themselves, any country that boycott will be banned, just like Nigeria was banned for 2 years when we boycotted AFCON 1996 in SA because of the Apartheid brouhaha then. Even though Nigeria's action was for a just cause. If the case gets to CAS, the CAS will look at it from a logical and factual POV, and not from emotions, which will make CAS to overturn the decision. The only thing they can do is to prevent CAS from hearing that case at all by postponing the hearing to a far date. Because once CAS hears that case, FIFA will loose |

Michaelbjune: some people are saying that, FIFA and UEFA are bringing politics into football . okay those that have ear should listen or those that can read should go and search on Google why UEFA or Eroupen football governing body place a band on all England team 1982
because fight Brooke out between Liverpool fan and Juventus fan in the European Champions Cup against Liverpool and Juventus.
Liverpool fan cause the fight
after losing to Juventus one nill in the final
and many people where killed and injured by Liverpool fan, so they now ban all England club for five years not to participate in champions league so if you don't know what to say go and sleep
anyway there's no time to check time 2:23 You just explained a legitimate reason for a ban which is not related to politics. Two opposing fans fighting and UEFA banned the country for a sport related fight . Are you dumb or what? |

This is ridiculous. When the USA was bombarding Libya, why were France and the USA not suspended?

Amodi470: Such actions are dividing the world sports community, which has always adhered to the principles of equality, mutual respect and independence from politics.
We reserve the right to challenge the decision of FIFA and UEFA in accordance with international sports law.
They right I hope they will win Their decision to ban Russia is contradicting the International Sport Law Russia will win that case at CAS. CAS is a court and the basis of their ban will be judged on it's merit and will be found to be nonsense. The only thing the Europeans can do is not to make CAS to sit and hear the case. Which in itself will be bad publicity too. |
Sports › Re: This Is Discriminatory: Russia Football Union Head To CAS Over Suspension by timay1: 1:43pm On Mar 01, 2022 |
rickpat: can CAS really do so much?..THE WORLD IS TOTALLY AGAINST THE ACTIONS OF RUSSIA..even if they are reinstated,no country would go to Russia to play them or allow Russia to come to their country to play and no nation would agree to host the game as a neutral view...the best bet is for dialogue and Russia withdrawing their troops from Ukraine Well, CAS is literarily a court of law for sports related issue. As we all know, courts deals with facts and not emotions. If the Russians present their case properly, they might win. |

It's now starting to make sense why China is developing alternative to western technologies and software. As late as 2020, China launched their own GPS satellites and developed their own navigation satellites.
Once the west disagrees with you, they just simply cut you off. But with a country like china , you don't have anything to cut them off from because they've developed their own alternatives.
The Chinese government are damn visionary.

donjazet: As I said earlier, one can rationalize and perhaps respect individuals who game the financial system to make money, using insider trading or political merit etc. Billionaires like Elon musk, bill gates, Jeff bezoz, warren Buffett, George Soros etc have all made billions by innovation, investments and gaming the system. No one can begrudge that because it's a norm. It's the only "clean" way we know, but criminals who make money from the blood of other Human beings don't deserve to be celebrated at all.
Just imagine that all Chelsea fans globally have been enamored with Roman Abrahmovic for decades, have loved the man to death for giving us what we love and virtually blinded us to the fact that he is a cold blooded killer and criminal mastermind, someone responsible for high level assassinations.. We never concerned ourselves with hearing from him. We just accepted it as a way of life and decided to be willfully negligent. I'm ashamed of myself. Sinner judging another sinner for sinning differently. The billionaires in the West who made money from gaming the system and doing insider tradings and a lot of wall street shady shits are no different from Russian billionaires who deal directly with murder and blood to get their own money. Both set of billionaires destroy lives of ordinary citizens that they exploit to make money. The difference is that western billionaires kill their victims gradually and they die a slow and miserable death due to debt the ordinary people (Victims) incure from their loss in the stock markets, while the Russian billionaires do their own killing very fast and direct. |

And they were even auctioning some of it off, that was why the west in conjunction with Russia had to step in before they sell nukes to terrorists. So it was easier to convince them to let the nukes go because they never seemed like they wanted to keep it in the first place |

Johnrake69: You're actually the one twisting the facts.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously asked for confirmation that Ukraine will not join the NATO defence alliance, however his demands have been rejected by the West.
Why is Ukraine not in Nato? Despite NATO being present in Ukraine, and Ukraine contributing towards NATO missions, the country is still officially not a member.
Upon the inauguration of US President Joe Biden in 2020, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his first question to the new US leader would be: “Mr President, why are we not in NATO yet?”
This was a direct quote of the Ukrainian president after Joe Boden inauguration. Apparently, sleepy Joe probably followed up on that question from the Ukrainian president. And now the country is in a mess, with the conflict having a potential to escalate into a world war. Joe ignored the fact that there's a reason the past presidents didn't give an audience to Ukraine as regards joining Nato. |

Ukraine was just the location where majority of the Nukes owned by USSR were stationed. The Nukes belonged to Russia. When Ukraine wanted independence, they had to give up those nukes back to Russia , as part of the conditions of the independence. It's just like Nigeria having most of its nuclear weapons stationed in Lagos. And one day Lagos decides that they want independence, you and I know that Nigeria won't allow Lagos to keep those weapons. They will be taken back from them as part of the conditions for letting Lagos go |

Trainee223: I think Putin should be more worried that the America CIA can read and predicted him exactly!! Someone within him can easily sell him out. Putin open ur eye before you get caught up Tbf, it's not hard for CIA to predict his moves, because Putin is just using their exact play book that they've used to invade countries in the past. America knows this, and there's nothing they can do about it for now, unless they want to risk a direct conflict with a nuclear power and a big military country like Russia. For now, I doubt the USA are ready to take that risk. At least not now and not for a country like Ukraine. However, the UsA will most likely support Ukraine by proxy via supply them with endless weapons to fight because they won't want to be directly involved. All in all, Ukraine will be the biggest loser , because Russia and USA will use their soil to test their latest military hardwares and will turn it into another Syria in the Middle if Europe |
