So we now have different types of goals?

Chai..... Only in Nairaland sports section!

So na those single winning goals we go use boost our goal difference if we level on points with any of the other top 4 contenders, or those extra 3, 4, or 5 winning goals?

So Ronaldo and Messi wey dey clock 40+ goals per season, na single winning goals dem dey score? Infact hattrick is useless in football grin

Lemme go back to my reading mode sha....

Man utd to play City, Chelsea, Cardiff and Huddersfield

Arsenal to play Wolves, Leicester, Brighton and Burnley

Spurs to play Brighton, Bournemouth, Westham and Everton.

Which team has the easiest fixtures?
I will focus on winning Europa.

We will drop points in the Watford and/or Man Utd games. Leicester is tricky too.

Please how many teams are in UCL right now? Who else had an away win?
Stop complicating matters for yourself. Accept that your first comment about away win was wrong because you never added "this week" in that comment.

Now you have made that bolded above. If I give you a team in UCL right now with away win, you will again add "this week" to prove yourself right.

So it's okay for Eruditor to make offside excuses....

Eruditor:
Losing to United was a freak result even though he gambled as well- that is not why they lost. They threw chances away (Sterling was chief in this) and got complacent. United got a break, got 2 goals but then got their winner of an offside. Afterwards, it was about impressive saves from De Gea, close calls and bad refereeing.

Pep made a mistake against Liverpool in the first leg. He said so. But as great as Liverpool played their first goal came from an offside and the 2nd goal was a long range shot from Oxlade. In the second leg, City not only deserved to win the game, they were cheated by bad refereeing. They led 1-0 in 5 mins and then Sané scored a LEGITIMATE goal which the ref ruled as offside (even when the Liverpool defender played the ball to him) which would have meant they led 2-0 going into the second half. The game was poised for City to win but that goal was ruled out. Pep was banished to the stands for complaining and Liverpool took initiative, then scored in the 2nd half after catching a break from the referee in the first half. At this point, City needed 4 more goals to qualify. There was nothing to play for again and Otamendi made another mistake towards the end of the game which gave the game to Liverpool. There is nothing tactical to discuss there.
....but others are not allowed to.

Eruditor:
If Wednesday is upon you, then wait for it. I already said City will knock Tottenham out. That one is not even arguable to me. I also said I am not making any bold predictions about the scoreline so asking me to bet is just clout-chasing. Those who watched the match then should not give excuses about watching this one. I don't want to hear, Aguero was offside, Sterling's penalty was soft and other hogwash that people on here have said before.
Wow!

Just wow.

And the same is happening here as soon as Morata left. 2 matches, 10 goals conceded. Who is responsible for this 'badluck'? Definitely not Morata because he left us in top 4...and he never lost with a 4 goal margin in a Chelsea shirt.

Lies are all i saw in this post of yours but i have no time to dwell on them.

Let's assume Falcao actually scored the 19 goals (which is a lie), is it not obvious that Falcao actually had enough time between January and September 2006, to get his full recovery?

Falcao didn't score the said 19 goals until May 2008, which is more than two years, after his second injury. Belotti had his second injury in December 2017, what's today's date?.
Lol.... Google is your friend cheesy cheesy cheesy

So you expect Falcao and Bellotti to spend same amount of time out injured? What is Bellotti's injury again? ACL?

You are wrong. Morata as usual missed couple of chances that would have upturned the result, so we can blame him for not scoring the chances they gave him. Griezmann was obviously not happy with him. So that point is invalid.

How many months were between the time he was rushed back and the season he scored 19 goals? Let's see if it's less than 2yrs, so that the rushing back excuse for Belotti, will be put to shame.
So it's a sacrilege for someone else to score and win the game for Atletico? Oh I see, since Morata is in the pitch he must be the one to score and win the game. Why then didn't Higuain score 5 goals to win that Bournemouth game for us?

Lol..... You just keep digging a hole for yourself in this Falcao matter. Just admit that Bellotti is fraud. Falcao case has proved that injury is not an excuse for Bellotti.

Time line of Falcao injuries...

November 2005 he injured his right knee ligament.

January 2006 after being rushed back, he injured the same knee.

September 2006 he returned to the pitch for the remainder of the season.

August 2007 the very next season started. He finished this season with 19 goals in 39 apps.

Now to answer your question above in bold, 1 year and 7 months. Don't forget the 8 months he spent sidelined.

Any other question? cheesy

N.B: Even if he spent 2 years before scoring that 19 in 39, what are you trying to prove? Do you want to compare Falcao's injury to Bellotti? 'rushing back' get levels bro...

Was he rushed back from injury like Belotti? It seems you are just here to waste my time.
So you are now making excuse for Higuain but not for Morata? Was it Morata who habdled the ball in the 18 yard box that resulted in Real Betis penalty, the only goal of the game?

If Morata's presence in the pitch caused Atletico's lost, then Higuain's presence definitely caused our first 4 goal margin lost in 22 years.

Actually Falcal was rushed back from injury cheesy

Read this and pay close attention to the bolded and colored text...

Suffering one ACL knee injury during a career in football is sheer rotten luck. Spare a thought for Radamel Falcao, then, who has sustained no fewer than three serious knee injuries – to both his right and left – during his career so far.

Falcao first injured his right knee while playing for River Plate in a game against San Lorenzo in November 2005 and then exacerbated the problem when he attempted to return a couple months later, eventually missing 10 months of action.

The Colombian front-man bounced back emphatically from that setback, becoming one of the most feared centre-forwards in South America and then the world during spells with Porto and Atletico Madrid.
His first full season after making a full recovery, he scored 19 goals in 39 appearances. How many have Bellotti scored a year later after injury?

I don't type gibberish. I give you facts to debunk your Bellotti excuses.

Belotti isn't good enough honestly but I would also not consider Monaco a big move for Falcao after failing in the EPL,abi is Monaco a big club?
His big move was Porto to Atletico. Between 2010 and 2013 Falcao was one of the hottest strikers in Europe.

Notice that by then, he has already suffered 2 ACL injuries on one knee. That's the point I'm trying to make to Air.mark..... He still bounced back after career ending injuries while in River Plate.

Yes.

I mentioned those clubs because he was still able to make the move to a big clubs despite all his injury woes. Why can't Bellotti make a move from Torino if he is that striker airmark wants us to believe he is? Injury is no excuse for Bellotti.
