Napoli cannot even defeat 10-men Parma. Conte foolishly froze Osimhen, their key player, out his squad and thought the unreliable Lukaku would be able to deliver.

Long may their woes continue.

I'm glad that ungrateful Napoli is losing today. Silly club. They don't deserve to win games after treating Osimhen, their best player, in this manner.

Without Osimhen, Napoli is just a mid club. Even Kvarastxuvwxyz cannot help them win games without the world-class Osimhen.

Napoli are so ungrateful.
Lol.... Napoli still won, with Osimhen replacement scoring grin

If not for Lovren's mistake dzeko was kept at bay for the most of the game. A Liverpool's team without van dijk would have been knocked out by city by cancelling out goals by sallah. We saw what sevilla did to them.

When you have a solid defence marshalled by a leader who ensured his mates keep shape at the back, kept his position, warding off threats from strikers, your team will have confidence to go on all attack.

Go and tell klopp or Gerrard or any sensible Liverpool fan, that van dijk has added nothing to their defence, if you will not receive a knock on your dumb head.

Anyways,

Attack

Felix - 60m
Neto - 52m
Dewsbury - 35m
Guiu - 6m

Defence

Veiga - 14m
Jorgensen - 24.5m
Tosin - 0
= 38.5m

What will you say now to where the club saw our major problem was?
Like I keep telling you, money spent is NOT the criteria to know where the major problem lies.

Read again what Enzo said in the image below. Pay close attention to the yellow highlighted part. Fixing a problem is only about buy buy buy buy... AI don't blame you sha, your football knowledge is limited so you believe that coaching is only to just enter a club, point players you want, club buys and you throw them inside the pitch to play football.

Enzo knew that defence was the major problem Chelsea had from last season that's why he discussed it with the players very early. And one way he wanted to fix it is highlighted in the image below.

There is NO record of him discussing attack with the players as a major issue.

Add the fact that our FIRST transfer of the window is a defender tell you all you need to know.

I don't even want to mention how you shamelessly added KDH as attacker grin grin grin

Gibberish.

We were discussing winning the Epl and not about a player signed first indicating the department where the major problem in the team, lies.

Stop muddling up the Convo in order to cover your stupid logic - the player a team sign first, is the most important.

Below is the amount spent on each department and one could see the department we concentrated on between the two. Your stupid logic died on arrival.

Felix - 60m
Neto - 52m
Dewsbury - 35m
Guiu - 6m
= 153m

Veiga - 14m
Jorgensen - 24.5m
Tosin - 0

Who gave you the right to choose which discussion to reference Arsenal? If you don't want Jo.dera to mention Arsenal in your discussion, do well NOT to mention it in other arguments too.

We had same number of big chances as Arsenal and they coverted 15 more than us last season.

There's a reason we have spent over 150m on our attack and we didn't spend more than 40m on defence. We conceded less against City at home this season as against 4 last season, and we scored 6 against Wolves as against 1 we scored last season at molineaux.

The only painful thing is that we didn't upgrade from that wasteful Jackson. Every other thing I asked for in the attack was done.

You claimed that a team's first signing indicates where the major problem lies.

Jodera used Arsenal to school you the need for supporting cast. Arsenal do not have a prolific striker but they were able to score 5 goals plus consistently last season. Na Saka, Trossard, Havertz dem score the bulk of Arsenal's goals. Same way Chelsea can be fine with Jackson and a good support cast... Your response? This👇

The board knows the major problem that's why they made defender their very first signing. Priority. Coach came out in public to tell us topic of his earliest meeting with the players. Priority.

Leaving the pursuit of a CF till the very last day of TW should tell you what the board/coach sees as the major problem in the squad.

Support cast signed all over the place like nateevs recommended. As usual, you are against this opinion.

There are now 36 teams, and the preliminary phase is in league format. Each team plays eight matches in the league phase (4 home, 4 away; you get to play each team either home or away, instead of the usual home AND away). The graphic I posted had the fixtures for Pot 1 teams. Same was done for teams in Pot 2-4.

After 8 games played by all 36 teams, the top 8 move to the round of 16 automatically. 9th to 24th engage in a double legged knockout phase (kind of like a round of 16 before the main round of 16) to determine the eight teams that will complete the round of 16. From there, the competition assumes it's usual format.
Interesting.

It looks like this format will make sense.

League phase, after it ends, top 8 get to the R16, 9th - 24th (16 teams) play a two legged knockout tie to determine the other 8

So the League format now, everyone will play everyone?

that's solid reason why we don't need Sancho, when we already have immature Mudryk. If Felix and Neto turn up every game we don't need Sancho, if they flop it means we would have 4 big problems to move next summer to create space for Estevao, Paez and George

I don't understand the plan I will just be watching because we should be signing a striker if Felix and Nkunku wouldn't be playing 9, Jackson can play left wing and getting Sancho just takes the number of players who can play said position to 5
Jackson play LW? Na wao... Some takes here sha.

Sancho will actually cook on the left wing which is his best position but he has not had the opportunity to play there for Manure

If Sancho is the price we have to pay to get rid of Sterling then so be it. But Nkunku and Mudryk should also be sold so as not to crowd him out. Between Sancho, Neto and Felix, we are good on that left wing, not to talk of Carney
With or without Sancho, Sterling is already gone.

We don't need another LW....Just get in an experienced CB and a CF.

Trim the squad down and we are good to go.

Lol, then why are you guys after him if that's the case here?
This type of your contract is mostly for young upcoming players or players at a lower club not top player and top club like Osimhen is who has already made name for himself.

Arsenal aren't really serious for Osimhen. Most I'm seeing is just rumors and stuff. If we're after Osimhen, we won't be offering him at least 150k wage at this his stage he is at his career. It's insulting na.
Osimhen doesn't want to gamble on a season long loan deal without an obligation to buy because there is every tendency that he won't perform this one season, and if that's the case, Chelsea will withdraw from the deal. It's very understandable because if that happens, he is going back to Napoli which means looking for yet another club or riding bench.

But if he truly believes he can come in here and perform well, what stops Chelsea from offering him a new lucrative deal? Palmer played just one season and got a bumper new deal.

If Chelsea is cutting down on their wage then let them sign strikers willing to sign 10 years contract and take peanut for wages . Let them leave Osimehn and his agent to worry about his future .

There are several European players that have been frozen out and still managed to get a good club afterwards.

Worse case scenario Conte will freeze him out this few months and by January he will make a move to any top European club that can afford his wages in the January transfer window .
You did NOT answer my question. Maybe you have to read it again, with an open mind. We are not arguing. I just asked a honest question, expecting a honest reply from you.

Is this what was agreed on or what you're thinking?

If the situation is that he'll earn his "at least 150k" then from the seasons upward he'll have his normal wages, then it's acceptable (and that's only valid if it's obligation to buy)

But if not, then he's putting himself at risk financially cos nothing is guaranteed. I don't think Chelsea wants to pay him anything close to what he's earning presently
So you want Chelsea to take the risk of paying him his present wages and sign him for 7 years (as this board normally does) then he flops and be stuck with Chelsea, abi?

Why didn't Arsenal sign him? I thought you guys were interested in him? Have you signed a number 9?
