Sportsweb: Is to tell you why it's illegal.
If Arsenal can bribe their way, nothing is stopping Man City from doing same. You don't get me. Be it City or Arsenal doing the paying, my question is, is it illegal to pay someone to win a match? I only used Arsenal as the guys whose destiny is not in their hands. Man City just need to win and lift the trophy. But Arsenal need help from Westham to lift the trophy. |

Meanwhile, our women are cooking! 4-0 against Man United at Halftime. Mayra Ramirez has been fantastic Five zero now. |

Sportsweb: What if Man City pays West Ham to lose?
Or pay Everton to do everything possible to get at least a draw?
That's why it's illegal. Because Man City are also capable of bribing as well.
Heck, City could even pay Paqueta money in advance. Bolded is illegal. Paying someone to do opposite of what he is supposed to do is illegal. Spot the difference. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 3:48pm On May 18, 2024 |
Is it illegal for Arsenal to pay a West Ham to beat Man City? Would that count as bribery? Ordinarily, West Ham would want to win the game. Arsenal's money would serve as more ginger to do all they can to win the game So is it wrong to encourage someone more to do what he is supposed to do? What do you guys think? |

Mention our attackers that scored the 2 goals in the 2-0 against Spurs?
You argue blindly as usual. If I ask you how many goals Arsenal or City attack have scored this season, I'm sure you will start going through all the goals and seive out the ones Gvardiol, Rodri, Kovacic, Stones, Dias etc scored because they are not attackers, abi? When you were showing us Serie A table with how many goals Inter have scored, shebi you removed the goals Bastoni Barella and other defenders/midfielders scored because they are not attackers, abi? Okay, let's reverse the role a bit. When Chelsea defend a corner and it's Mudryk or Jackson or Madueke that soaked the pressure and nodded away those deadballs and Chelsea finally kept a clean sheet, who kept that cleansheet? I'm truly sorry for you. What agenda has done to you. |

airmark:

Sheffield that our attack should have pounded 4 or 5 goals like Newcastle and others did. It was even a defender, Silva, that scored one of our 2 goals while Jackson fired blanks.
If we had relied on Jackson yesterday, probably we would have lost, with his 2 big chances missed as usual.
For the umpteenth time, Jackson is not ripe yet for Chelsea he should go on loan and improve. We need to challenge for league title with better finishers. Our defence conceded 2 or more goals in 7 consecutive matches to throw away points that could have helped us climb the table. Our attackers scored at least 2 goal in each of those matches. Do we have any business conceding 2 goals against a 10 man Burnley team, the worst attack in EPL? Remember the 4-2 loss against Wolves where we were leading at some point in the game? Remember the 2-2 against Arsenal where our attack went 2-0 up comfortably? |

City have Haaland and Alvarez. Newcastle have Isak and Wilson. Arsenal have Jesus and Havertz now upfront. I am not sure he can bench all those 6 in their teams, today.
Jackson doesn't look like someone who will improve from the bench, he needs games to play regularly. Loan and not bench, will help his development. I thought a EPL winning team parades four CFs. Where are the four CFs in this title contender's teams? Shebi Chelsea parade Drogba, Shevchenko, Anelka, Sturridge to win EPL? |

WhoDeyHause: Colwill has mistakes in him but not up to badiashile and Disasi. We both know James is one of the best defensive full backs in the world if not the best and he's also part of a back 4 not a front 4. Colwill is just there. Nothing spectacular. Colwill cannot have the Palmer effect in our defence. The good thing about James is his attacking output. So while he is superb defensively, we still miss him in attack too. It took him less than 5 minutes to assist the much maligned Jackson. Who knows what would have happened if he had played more this season.... Could Jackson have been on 25 goals by now? Think about it... |

WhoDeyHause: That's why we need to get another striker until whenever he develops and decides to start cooking. A club as big as ours cannot be parading the young shall grow everytime. Evidently the direction the club hierarchy is heading to believes in "young shall grow" too much. If not, this total clear out and 24 years and below signings won't happen like this. Make we siddon dey look as things pan out. The team go cook, but when? That's the problem... |
