I look at our Central midfield options and I’m gutted at what we have at our disposal. A crocked one, a passenger, a soon-to-be out of contract one and of course the poor Ecuadorian who has become a shadow of himself.

Luiz is literally the engine behind Villa’s solid performances. Man is dominant. Having such ball playing, imposing figure in our midfield will definitely get some weight off Caicedo’s feet while giving Enzo the freedom to take his showboating to another level.

I’m sure Gallagher will be sold and I can’t even trust Lavia to stay fit. We’ll be literally left with Caicedo and Enzo as the only two available CM options in a matter of months. Ugochukwu is a goat.

Comparatively, the defending champions' goal tally stands at 7 goals conceded in 6 matches, while giants like Real Madrid also conceded 7 goals in 6 matches. This prompts the question: Is it fair to label Madrid and Manchester City as teams from a poor league too if they can concede 7 goals each in 6 matches while PSV conceded 6 goals in 5 matches?
