Yes. The longer you play music the weaker. If old battery it may be too weak to start car.

What DTCs do you have?
What was engine temperature and RPM while running test?

The O2 sensor values are for
B1S2 and B2S1only
No B1S1 and B2S2.
Also, get fuel trims and MAF values too.

I think it's best you call Toyota for pricing & also try sourcing prices locally (eBay, breakers yard) etc etc. And compare cost

Not also forgetting workmanship and loss in value due to history (not unless you intend to use it till the engine drops)....

But her write up says Toyota Corolla, while posted picture is a Ford Edge...

Let a mechanic take a look when it arrives so you can get a proper repair invoice. Avoid cutting corners when the time comes.

We are a consumer nation that can't generate enough electricity to power industries...

In olden feudal and violent times all the societies preferred left hand convention. It offered various advantages if one was right handed. One could -

keep right weapon wielding hand closer to the opponent and scabbard away from him.
avoid inconvenience of bumping into someone else's scabbard
mount/dismount on horse easily. Since right handed men mount horse from the left (since scabbard is on left) keeping on left allowed one to dismount on edge of the road....

In short RHD originated from horse riding because it was easier, hence it was adapted to first generation of automobiles, but LHD is easier for automobiles, hence the switch later on...

Oga, you go buy engine oh.
On a more serious note.
First it was the Serpentine belt that was slipping off due to an imbalance which was due to the Crankshaft pulley key wear. The sprocket was broken by damaged Crankshaft.
This caused a timing reset which destroyed 8 out of 16 valves.
New valves were installed, old valves were ground (resurfaced to remove every carbon build up on them)
P1349 indicates Variable valve timing system malfunction: the oil control valve might have been damaged when the sprocket broke or while top cylinder was being worked on....
Now that the car doesn't start means atleast one of compression, Spark and right timing is absent.

Check the following:
OCV condition
Valves condition
Top cylinder and engine block for proper surface
Engine block if threads are still in good condition
Gasket
Timing chain
Timing chain adjuster
Crankshaft
Crankshaft pulley
Engine sump for metal particles...

On a more serious note, it will be better to have the engine replaced by a more reliable mechanic.
