I need your advise and possibly affordable help to repair the gear of a car. it's a Nissan altima 2001, auto. the gear doesn't exceed one, without having a very high rpm, once it crosses to gear two it proceeds without hitch.

it selects normally between drive , reverse and all other added gear options. but that persistent issue of not changing from gear one after a very long time.

is that gear totaled? is the gear workable? it's a car for my mum and I don't want what will give her stress. if workable could such be done reliably with a guarantee for longetivity? are the issues so much that it requires a total change.

you have helped me with advise here many times and I appreciate that. do help me with this too. the car is at iju ishaga axis, so if need be based on advise, it could be driven down to your end for better analysis.

VIN means vehicle Identification Number, also called Chassis Number. It is on every car and usually included in details posted when a car is put up for salvage sale on any auction website. Therefore if being sold the link to the advert will appear to give an insight what happened before the vehicle left the country it was sold branch new.

I once tried to copy a VIN number off a car i wanted to purchase at a dealer along Kubwa expressway. Immediately I pulled out my pen and paper and located where the number was, the dealer told me it was "against the company policy to run a VIN check". I simply walked away.

Mad people, that's like saying checking ingredients of a product is against company policy.

Good afternoon house a family friend is having issues with his truck a 2008/2009 Toyota tacoma ..He recently purchased the truck and after registration travelled from Jos to Abuja with it ..on coming back to Jos the engine knocked ..the mechanics that opened it told him it was the bearing ...so they bought a new bearing and the engine started working again ...that weekend he travelled again to Abuja and on coming back again the engine knocked ..according to the mechanics same bearing issue ...another bearing was bought but this time the crankshaft had to be cut to 020 ...now the engine has knocked again and this time his mechanics said the the bearing and three con rods have been affected ...this whole events occurred in less than a month ...he is considering still repairing the bearings and conrods still as he said his mechanic says he should buy direct tOKs crankshaft and bearing ( couple back)as his mechanic calls it ...I told him to just change the engine ...but he said a new engine would eat up his pocket and he needs the truck up and running again ...pls experts is there a solution asides an engine change.
