Paint job complete.

I bought a used car two days ago, Acura MDX 2003, before paying I took a good look at it, test drove and after two days I test drove again before paying, I have used this car with no issues, the only thing I was to replace was the AC compressor and condenser, which I planned to do onsaturday, the mistake I made was that I didn't test drive it on the high way, today I is the first day I drove it on the high way and noticed it doesn't go pass 90km/h. I have called the seller today, but he was driving I'll have to call him later to talk with him though but I need advise from the house, please help out.

Check how high the RPM gets when throttle is depressed.

Pic4: Repaired and functional disc loader/ player. Previously disconnected front right speaker and tweeter were reconnected.

Turn around maintenance for Lexus ES300 going on. Trying to upload pictures, but having issues.
Pic1: Faulty radiator cap was emptying engine of coolant on pressure rise, causing overheat. Reserve tank would be full to brim while engine will be empty (no coolant).
Pic2: previous rear crash wasn't fixed properly leading to gap between booth and rear fender when locked. That has been corrected.
Pic3: 6 disc loader was stuck. Had to be taken out and the loader mechanism fixed.
Pic4: car has been primed, preparation for painting in the oven. Oven is in the background of the picture.

I think "stick to recommended oil viscosity and service interval" should be #1 on the list.

Oil filter - each engine service.
Brake pads - when considerable drop in brake oil is noticed.
Stabiliser linkages and sway bar bushings - noise while driving on rough road.
Air filter and cabin filter - when too much dust is on the surface.
Serpentine belt - when name and specs start rubbing off and cracks are noticed.
Drive shafts - noisy clicks at bends suggest wear of the joint.

What you did is as good as killing a cockroach with a sledge hammer.
Charging current is usually 10% of energy battery can store.

I noticed people have been ignoring 50% DOD rule which will make their batteries die out within a short period of time.


@ teamsynergy get a multimeter to see the voltage value of your battery at full charge. Don't rely solely on the charger indicator.

I need more explain why choosing the option

Corolla has cheaper spare parts than Rx300.
Corolla has smaller engine size, therefore it consumes lesser amount of fuel that an RX300.

There is no basis of comparison between the two vehicles. You can't compare a sedan with a SUV simply because the purposes they serve, maintenance, fuel economy and drive patterns
are not the same.
If you need a sedan, then start thinking corolla, c-class Benz, Altima, Audi A4 or any Mazda in saloon form. However, if your goal is SUV, then Acura MDX, Honda pilot, Nissan xterra or Toyota Highlander of the same year should be the options to Rx.

Im having some trouble with my gear. It stalls and revs as far as 3500 rpm before changing gear. Its a v6 engine which didnt used to be like that before.

I observed that just before it changes gear, it roars as if im revving the car and the change is rough as it comes with a jerk.

I have observed a flashing d light on two occasions while driving but it goes away once i put the vehicle in park, turn off and turn on the engine again.

I recently drained the atf and replaced it with mobil atf but there has been no improvement.

Please help salvage my transmission before it requires a total overhaul
