Thats heavy, took the whole Engine off for a N500 Seal ahaha, I wish tehre was a different way to fix this.

Its been abt 6months i used yhe ac last
Jus replaced a compressor and condenser yesterday.
The battery light eventually comes on when i power the ac to level 3.
Like the load too much.
Alternator was changed early this year
The battery was replaced is abt 1n a half years old.
Before the compressor was fixed
Never had any ish .no engine issue and has never had engine issue.
Whe in motion my battery suddenly shows drained at dashboard.
Ibhad to slow down
Park.off ac then start engine.
It repeated same thing 5mins later.
I felt so embarrassed
Humiliated
Restless
Angry
What is going on.

If in Ibadan, I can scan and diagnose vehicle by Thursday.

Compressor and condenser were replaced.
Now you feel vibrations while driving and battery charge is low.
For how long have you been using the car without AC?
How old is the battery?
Is check engine light on?
Is the battery light on while vehicle engine is working?
I have to see vehicle to run a proper scan and diagnosis.
You may have engine performance issues and a dying battery or your rewire might have disconnected the alternator in error of a dead alternator too.

Took engine and tranny out to fix this #500 seal today.

Hello auto gurus, I would like to seek your expert opinion on these 2 issues I have with my Toyota camry 2003:

1. I observed recently that the car jerks whenever the gear is engaged and I completely press the brake pedal or when I slow down to a stop during motion. The jerking continues as long as I have my leg on the brake pedal but stops when I put the gear in Park. Some times the engine will go off after jerking for a while.

2. I checked my engine oil this morning and discovered it's almost halfway between full and empty. I serviced the car about 2 months ago and since then I've done about 1000km. What could make engine oil reduce without leakage?

1. Is the check engine light on?
You need a scan and diagnosis to confirm the exact cause of the problem.

2. Oil shortage could be due to oil burning up in the combustion chamber. Please, always carry some oil in your booth to top with until you can provide a solution.

Good day.

Car is a a 2000 toyota Camry, I drove with the thermostat stuck open for more than a year. I changed the thermostat less than a month ago and I bled the system and filled with total coolant. I noticed that the coolant overflows from the coolant reservoir, I saw the mark on the container. Should I be worried , could be a case of system overfill or a more serious underlying issue.

Your pictures are 2 identical cars bearing 2 different logos, and none of them bears 2 logos in one car.

Don't you think the 2 bolded sentences contradict each other? Your 2nd assertion rhymes with what we are saying. The engine takes a shorter time (than in colder climes) to attain operating temperature (88°C for the toyota sequoia V8). Without thermostat, the water constantly coming in from the radiator is about 50°C - 60°C, gets to the engine and rapidly rises to 88 degrees before moving on to the radiator.

On the average, cars operate within the 88°c to 97°c temperature range. This means that at start up when cold, the thermostat is shut till vehicle reaches 88°c. This ensures the coolant temperature rises rapidly.
Then the fan only works when the upper temperature range of 97°c is attained and it goes off when temperature drops to lower operating limit of 88°c.
But when the thermostat is out and fan works at all times, the temperature takes longer to rise to minimum limit and never attains maximum limit.

The recommended refrigerant is R134a, check around the bonnet and engine bay for recommended quantity the system is to be filled with.

what could possibly make a car(Ford fusion 2013 model) to vibrate when the A/C is switched on. Sometimes, the engine goes off.

Low RPM could be responsible, do a throttle body service.
