I won't try to sugarcoat it. I'm 25 years old, she's 19. Still in university because of the endless ASUU strike.

I've been having unprotected sex with this particular girl for a long while now. We've been dating for close to two years. I practise the "withdrawal" and "safe" days method. I met her a Virgin too.

Just realised she's pregnant. She started showing a lot of symptoms. Darkened areolas, nausea, breast heaviness, headache, back pain e.t.c.

I asked her to get do a pregnancy strip test and it came positive. Two red lines.

Though it's not what I ever planned for myself, I won't really mind having a child at my age. People will so much insult me, including my family but I'm sure my family will take care of the child.

The issue is the girl. Her family (Deeper Life) are wahala, big wahala. Educated people that behaves as if they never went to school. Now, we detected very early, her first period is supposed to start tomorrow (which I'm sure she'll miss). She's still very young and about to start schooling. I'm sure her dad will disown her (he once sent her away from his home over a slight misunderstanding, refused to let her back in until it was shown she was innocent).

I told her we have two choices, keep the baby or remove it. I am confused too, but I didn't show it. Pls what do you think?

We're really considering ending the pregnancy. Since it's very early, I'm considered getting m...p......r..l. I need medical advice pls. Above all, I don't want to endanger the girl's life.
I've read about abortion pills. I don't know how to get them or their price. Or should we keep the baby? Her dad will surely disown her, might later accept her, but it will definitely end her Education. What do you think? Should we get the drugs pls. Or consider another option? Should we keep the baby?

If you've been politically observant, you would notice Emeka Ihedioha craves and has been making subtle moves to become PDP Atiku Abubakar's running mate. Could this be why he declined supporting his kith and kin, Peter Obi's or any other south-easterner's candidacy? A week ago, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal infamously stepped down for Atiku in the PDP presidential primary election. Tambuwal has been lauded, even getting a heroic reception in Sokoto for placing his region ahead of self and friendship in political calculations.


Yet, the jotter remains blank, no notes taken. Ihedioha is friendly close to Tambuwal. Could Ihedioha have been part of terms and conditions for Tambuwal's cooperation? If true, isn't this reprising the role of a pawn? To think Imo State's beloved bride in the 2019 election is (or has been) so eager to play second fiddle, when he could have supported his geo-political zone's cause for presidency nonetheless, reminds Imolites again how unlucky they have been since 1999.


A good number of persons from Imo State you see drumming support for Atiku online or offline are affiliated to Ihedioha. They do so not for a better Nigeria as their sermons claim but largely for personal gains. Their principal in Agodi House, Aso Rock would afford them access to feast as well, they think. Continued relegation of South-east in Nigeria is okay, as long as they are okay. Imolites, when they switch to plan B of seeking the state's governorship seat in the next election, remember these moments. Respond to them also in Ogun State Governor Dapo Abodun's words to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, "We have heard you. We will do the right thing."

Good day nairalanders. I want to seek your advice on behalf of my uncle. Pardon me for any typographical errors. My uncle has been married to this lady for almost 16 years. They have two kids. According to his narration, the first five years of marriage was wonderful. But things took a sudden twist later on. The wife has changed in both attitude and manners. The man is a civil servant and earn 70k monthly and his wife is a teacher. She earns 35k monthly. The twist is, the wife has stopped supporting the man financially. In fact, anything she buys for the family or for the children, she asks for the money, even as little as spice cubes. My uncle had to report the matter to my father, his brother, after several years of enduring her strange attitude. My father called her to table the matter. She admitted the accusations. In her defence, she said it is the responsibility of the man (husband) to provide for the family. what broke my uncle's heart was the day the rent of their house was due, he hadnt pieced together the rent and was going about to seek loans from friends and family. He asked her if she knew who to loan from and she said she didn't know who to loan from. To his dismay, he got wind from a friend that his wife was looking for a piece of land to buy with God knows how and where she got the money from. She even told him she doesn't have a dime to add to whatever he's able to raise. He does everything in the house from A to Z.

He needs advice on what to do. Should he file for divorce and hope things would get Rosy enough to start afresh with someone else? Or should he call for a meeting with her family and our family to try to mediate and make her see reasons why she should be supportive. Matured advice please.
