Must Africa be backward in everything?
This edition of the tournament was initially planned to be the third since 2019 to take place during the Northern Hemisphere's summer, in order to reduce scheduling conflicts with European club teams and competitions, however it was postponed by CAF to 13 January – 11 February 2024 on 3 July 2022 due to the adverse summer weather concerns in Ivory Coast, whilst retaining the edition's original name for sponsorship purposes. This followed the 2021 edition in Cameroon also being moved to the Northern Hemisphere's winter season for similar reasons.

There's a question in the post you quoted. By answering the question, the conversation would have flowed better. Not asking a question to reply to a question.

That shouldn't be the only thing you should see here bro. Investigating these institutions and closing those found wanting will definitely save future students from making the mistake of schooling there.
I never said they shouldn't be investigated. We already have investigative institutions. We don't need new panels that require millions to seat in the name of investigations. Federal government panels are usually expensive and often times without positive impact.

Why travel in a wooden boat at Night.

RIP to them.
Unfortunately, it's not their first time doing night travels on those waters, after all that's the only thing that connects many of those communities. Truth however is that, the more times you do something dangerous, the closer you are to getting seriously hurt or in this case dying.

This won't stop others in those communities from doing night waka on the waters. They'll simply feel these ones were unlucky.

Na our way

Alway reducing our age to fit in and then burning out at lightening speed when the world is expecting us to be at our peak.

Isn't it curious that Messi and CR7 are still playing the round leather game whilst their African pairs who participated in age grade tournaments with them have retired many years ago?
African footballers falsify age not because they want to but because they have to. For most African countries, other than the top league in the country, there is no structure for lower leagues. This is different for the developed countries. A child's path in Europe through football can easily be mapped out once he enter the academy before 10 especially if he is talented.
The average African child may be more talented but there's no sure path to professional football for him
While after 10-12 years of amateur football, you can tell wether a footballer gets into a pro team in Europe, in Africa, a footballer can play passionately at the grassroots for 20years without being seen by local scouts let alone international agents. I'm sure you can testify every other neighborhood have one or two guys or more that played a lot of grass roots football and you can boldly say they were good and deserved to play professionally. But it didn't happen.

So it turns out the African player has played for so long despite being talented but he has not been discovered. Yet this is all he knows, this is what he has dedicated himself to yet he is already 30. Meanwhile if he gets lucky to be noticed, the foreign scouts only want someone below 23. It becomes inevitable that these guys reduce their age to take this once in a lifetime opportunity.

If we had the same level of sports development and opportunity as it is abroad, we wouldn't need to.

This is not a brief in support of age cheating, it's just to say I understand why it happens.

if the enemy wanted to stop his career they would have targeted him at club level, that is where their money, fame and career is being made, his injury is just a coincidence, it would even make more sense to say he feigns injury that to blame it on spiritual powers.
No mind dat person. E no too understand football. Players often fake injuries to avoid international duties and retain their spot in the club side. It's not uncommon to see a player under 25 retie from international football just to focus on club. Tammy Abraham despite not being called by England refused to play for Nigeria. To make matters worse, those wey dey play for Nigeria no dey ever give those wey miss the games reason to regret. Nigeria had a collection of mediocre players currently. Na who no like him money go bet on Nigeria. undecided

TravelRe: NIWA V LASG: Supreme Court Affirms FG’s Exclusive Control Of Inland Waterways by Timoleon(m): 3:23pm On Jan 08, 2024
The federal government in Nigeria exists against the people. It is designed to siphon resources from the states on a federal government that is responsible only to itself. The federal government is designed in such a way that corruption is inevitable. This corruption them of course trickles back down to the state and local governments.

Local communities have no say on resources under their territory wether it's land or water. Yet the federal government continues to lavish on the proceeds from resources gotten from the impoverished communities.

As long as we continue in the present structure and constitution, this country is on a continuous backward trajectory.

Signed DAMA. I wonder why. Isnt the National Hospital reputed to be among the best and most importantly free?

Why would the relatives want to take him away?
1. A clergy might be telling them he'll fix the situation with prayers.

2. A person on the family might have suggested taking him abroad for the procedure

3. Fighting within the family wether or not to waste money on treating the 'old man'.

4. Offer of a free operation by a private individual or hospital in a different hospital.

It could be any reason. These are just guess work from my head.
