Nigeria Arise (Part 2) Case study-Ghana Ghana' total land area is 238535kmsq compare to Nig 923763kmsq Ghana' debt profile is $213b compare to Nig 26trn now. Ghana' population is 30.4m compare to Nig estimated population of 200m + Crude oil produced in Ghana is estimated at 203000b/day compare to Nigeria 2.5m b/d Agriculture remains a major economic sector, providing income for nearly half of Ghanaians. The country is endowed with rich natural resources. Timber, gold, diamonds, bauxite, manganese, and oil contribute to making Ghana among the wealthier nations in West Africa. Unlike Nigeria, Apart from petroleum, Nigeria's other natural resources include natural gas, tin, iron ore, coal, limestone, niobium, lead, zinc and arable land. The oil and gas sector accounts for about 10 per cent of gross domestic product, and petroleum exports revenue represents around 86 per cent of total exports revenue. What's Nigeria' problem? Ghana has Nana Addo, Nigeria has Buhari Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician currently serving as the President of Nigeria , in office since 2015. He is a retired major general in the Nigerian Army and previously served as the nation's head of state from 31st December, 1983 to 27th August, 1985, after taking power in a military coup d'état . The term Buharism is named after his name, ascribed to the Buhari military government. Buhari has stated that he takes responsibility for anything over which he presided during his military rule, and that he cannot change the past. He has described himself as a "converted democrat". The country called Nigeria is under serious strain and if it is to survive it needs a leader that has the integrity, trust, patriotism, and a positive experience to lead. That servant must be selfless; firm but decent; talented not an intellectual; a person that has seen us through a life of despair and yet hope; an achiever and a team player; a person with the vision to take the country out of the deep seas of trouble brought about by an uncaring leadership in Asorock. Dr. Abubakar A. Muhammad on PmB Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- born William Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ; 29 March 1944 is currently the President of Ghana . He has been in office since January 7, 2017. He previously served as Attorney General from 2001 to 2003 and as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2007. Nana Akufo-Addo is high on energy, drive and purpose. He has demonstrated his humility and readiness to deny selfish interests. Two Great Leaders with great attributes. What's Nigeria' problem? Ghana GRDICO celebrates 10 years in operation for efficiency in power delivery and sustenance in power supply despite the growing demand for electricity on Aug 16, 2018, can we say the same about PHCN, NERC and so on? In 2018, the unemployment rate in Ghana was at approximately 6.71 percent of the total labor force While Unemployment Rate in Nigeria averaged 12.31 percent from 2006 until 2018, reaching an all time high of 23.10 percent in the third quarter of 2018 and a record low of 5.10 percent in the fourth quarter of 2010. So what's the problem with Nigeria considering its vast human and mineral resources? If you ask me, I think our major hindrance to economic growth is Human Resources. I can be the change, you can be the change. change begins with me.. Nigeria survival begins with me. Future Leaders!!?? We do not have a future leader in Nigeria. The younger ones to take over the mantle of leadership are not even thinking of tomorrow. They are stucked on social media with explicit content, cyber crimes, planning to travel abroad at any given opportunity. The present leaders are not ready to relinquish positions to competent personnel with technical know how of what leadership entails, who can question or challenge their deeds. Nigeria will survive from aje gudu jera, Nigeria will be great again... One day !!!!! Timothy Taiwo(Financial Consultant/Political enthusiast) |

I don't have a problem with Buhari winning the 2019 general election A victory for Buhari means the north have decided to vote massively for Buhari. ( ATIKU will win the South) My point is that, the insecurity ravaging the country shld stick to the North Ezekiel 18:20 says: The soul that sinneth shall die Gal 6:7 Whatever you sow you shall reap |
Nigeria is crazy Truth is that collectively we are going no where Everybody must rise individually and fight for himself In a sane country, Opposition parties in Nigeria don't need to campaign to oust this hungry and deadly blood suckers away from government Some people in an attempt to secure thousands of acres of land for their kinsmen released mayhem on farmers in order to justify their demand Do we need to tell people in Benue, Plateau, Kogi, Kwara, Nassarawa, not to Vote APC? They voted for this party in 2015, they have experienced change beyond imagination, why shld we convince them again not to vote APC? Let them vote for whatever they feel is right... Who will lose eventually and who is losing? Somebody said Nigerian youths are lazy, shutdown our schools for the past two months with no remorse on a way forward, do we need to tell Nigeria undergraduates and educated, not to vote APC? A lot of Nigerians lost jobs in 2016, 2017 due to a poor economic policy that led to recession, a lot of companies shutdown, rendering a lot of employed/underemployed youths jobless and hopeless, adding to the number of jobless youths increasing at an alarming rate. Do we need to convince these people not to vote Buhari again? Do we need to tell MAN note to choose APC? NLC, ASUU, still need conviction on who to support? Borno, Yobe, Zamfara is presently on fire, bandits, Boko Haram have destroyed virtually every good thing existing in those places, rendering many homeless, hopeless with a lot of our gallant soldiers killed, due to lack of weapons, inadequate funding and corruption by our service chiefs, yet the President has not taken any major step. What we hear now, is deployment of the Nigeria Army all over the country for elections. Anybody needs to tell the good people of Zamfara, Yobe, Borno, not to vote Buhari again? Everybody shld go to the poll and choose their leader in 2019.. Whatever happens eventually, we accept it? Sell your vote to highest bidder, enjoy the moment.. But remember, their is a price to pay Some of the prices we are paying for our indecision in 2015 includes: Recession Hunger Inflation Fuel hike Insecurity Kidnapping Bandits Fulani Herdsmen Marginalization Unemployment Poor education Bad governance Harassment Lawlessness Unlawful detention Nepotism Corruption Homelessness Depression Today, basic things in the market, are not affordable. Kerosene, gas, rice, beans etc are very expensive.. What was Buhari' contribution to the entertainment industry? Yet, secured their endorsement. Where was Buhari in 2015 2016 2017, when we had fuel scarcity Election year is around, suddenly scarcity disappeared Where was Osinbajo in 2016, 2017 during recession when there was a crazy hunger, to distribute #10000, launch market Moni and house to house visitation? Suddenly 2018 became the year of infrastructure. We did not need infrastructure in 2015, 16 or 17? Go ahead and vote whatever you desire in 2019, but remember, There is a price to pay...... Go ahead and vote whatever you desire in 2019, but remember, There is a price to pay...... dre11:Nigeria and Politics of Bitterness Sometimes I wonder why Tinubu and Saraki can no longer have a handshake, why Oshiobaba and Rochas Okorocha have become enemies The party in govt really don't want anybody to checkmate his performance? Awolowo never dragged Muritala, Balewa and Azikwe never fought once. They sacrificed their all for the well being of the nation. What's wrong with our today's leaders? IBB, Gowon, OBJ, Abdulsalam nd co, still laugh and party together even though they all share different political interest. Please today's leader, let's live a life worthy of emulation, no matter our political differences.. Opposition is not assassination Opposition is here for a better democracy Nigeria must be great, Nigeria will be great ~Taiwo Timothy Truth Advocate, Religion Enthusiast. |
[quote author=lightblazingnow post=74288638]Poor man and The Church The church used to be the place of refuge for the poor The church was a place of solace for the vulnerable The Church was the hope of a poor man since the acquisition of jeweleries, expensive items, cars houses was termed Material things and things of the world But today If you are poor, you cannot go to Church Even when you manage to attend some services, you will be downtrodden From the Pastor's message, which is all about what you can give to the Church (Prosperity), to the different choices of offering they request for, one might lose his balance, feel dejected, rejected cast down and cast away The rich have taken over the Church, change the message to suit their ears. Why are we then complaining of high rate of kidnapping, money rituals, robbery, scam among the youths? Tell me one place you will enter today and money is not the subject of discussion!! My pastor boasted on the altar, of buying a shoe worth a million naira while I was there in the audience, hungry nd praying on my small offering for blessing. Nobody preaches salvation anymore. When was the last time your pastor told you, Jesus is coming again? When was the last time, you were told Heaven is real? I can bet that the message you listened to today, was all about keys to acquire material things. However, God is Alive.. He is coming again! One day. He will reward everyone according to the work of their hands I pray for everyone striving, struggling and working hard to succeed, 2019 is the year of breakthrough, God has not forgotten your sacrifices, your reward is here... Happy Sunday ~Taiwo Timothy Truth Advocate, Religion Enthusiast. |

it is very embarrassing to see ur Igp so confused. his transition nd transmission from cp to igp is disheartening... wat can I do wen Buhari cannot do anything |
God has vindicated him. I am not surprised though. If God be for us, who can stand against us? Yahaya Bello never won an election so he does not understand who God love and who the people want. Buhari victory was by luck and he's a president for a duration. God is omnipresent... Congrats to Dino_melaye Na GodWin... Abasi ayaya o ayaya o abasi ayaya o |
one truth is dat , the senate led by Dr. Bukola Saraki is useless and d NASS is disregarded. if not, how did d president appoint Magu without senate approval? why is d NNPC paying subsidy without approval ? why wil Buhari withdraw a huge sum worth $463m without approval of d NASS? all Buhari cares is to molest d only voice of d youth in d senate neglecting his role to protect life and property...
