Jonathan was really desperate to win this election. Where he is now, and reflecting on the past I am sure he must be a sad man for his action. The sad aspect all these saga is knowing that these people he gave the money where only near him for what they can get for themselves. They did not do anyhting to help him win the election.

One thing is clear. Ngozi did not deny she did not remit the money to Dasuki. What is clear is that she knew the money was to be used for political campaigns and cleverly passed the bulk to Jonathan to monitor the use of the money. The South South people with oil in all elections in Nigeria had been voting the same hausa man execpt when Jonathan came on board. Nnamdi Azikiwe contested under NPP they voted for Shagari.
