most recruitments that are less than 100 get a waiver from FCC which allows them not to publish to the public.

People here can be so negative about certain parastatals not considering that many people here have been job searching for years and sometimes it's not even about the pay but Job security government Jobs offer. Not everyone has the connection or money to enter Oil and Gas, Finance, or communications parastatals.

To you it might not be special but to others, remember that people are struggling hard to even get ordinary Npower.

some take three months to start paying and pay you arrears and some start paying immediately. You cannot really know until you enter because sometimes each year is different, entering is the most important you should not worry about this.

I did not want to sound like I am negative here with the restructuring going on with PEF and PPPRA that recruitment is the last thing on PEF minds. When they are going to retire some senior staff and will need time to stabilize for a little while before thinking of recruitment seeing that they took a lot of people (about 200) just the end of last year after not recruiting for many years. However, a lot of people here seem confident on a second list so I have just been watching. Guys while hoping and waiting, explore other options, my 2 cents.

Even with this explanation, I am sorry your analysis of the agencies is still very flawed and misleading, but again everyone is free to their opinion.

On another note, I miss days when Engr Briggs and Tammy Anybody were active on here they were very careful of giving information that is not verified. These days information on this forum I urge everyone to take with a pinch of salt and do their own research.

My analysis wasn't just base on take home salary but training and retraining of staff, capacity building, quarterly allowances, local running, 13, 14 and sometime 15 months allowances.

Some of the agencies you guys sees as A - list are actually surviving through corruption funds.

Your degree could place you anywhere with the right connections. If you don't have connections and are under 30 try and apply for the publicly advertised government jobs that come up, even if it is outside your discipline.

But if by chance you have connections with your degree look into Power. The Parastatals under Ministry of Power pay decently I am told.. heard Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading pay the best among them.

To get to be a voluntary staff you still need to know a senior management/ executive to bring you on but that will not guarantee getting retained as a staff. Even corpers do not get retained although I have heard of some corpers being kept on as contract staff in some government offices but you won't get allowances and full staff pay and privileges.

your list is very flawed once you put CBN above NDIC when NDIC earn more. LOL and you put NIMASA and AMCON as D list ? im so confused

its good for people to do their own research and not rely on this thread so you are not misled

have people not already said people have already been posted? It would appear people have already started receiving letters then...enough hints have been given that things there has been progressing in my opinion. Sometimes it's good to read between the lines on this forum.

Nigeria Deposit Insurance Commission - Great pay, allowance, and career progression
Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority - heard the pay is good, not sure of other things
Corporate Affairs Commission - Decent pay and allowances
ITF - Decent pay, and good career progression

Some people here will add FIRS but I personally would not because it is congested not good for career progression.

I am not familiar or know any people working in the others to comment.

New intakes resumed work from the 2nd week of August. If you are a hopeful follow up with your sponsor and ask what your delay is, cos you should have at least heard something since.

NDIC usually do medicals, then APL, documentation/ induction/training, posting, then resumption

New recruits have started resuming at NDIC I am told..

the original sellers are ministers, senators etc shei you know the actual owners of the slot they go through agents to stay anonymous. A List that you earn over 6M a year is not beans. They would rather give out the slot free to their friends and family than go through this route for peanuts..

I am also talking based on the experience of people I personally know who have gotten into top agencies in the last 2 years.I am not even saying this to discourage people or kill joy cos people also get into these agencies for free if they personally know someone. I am sharing this cos some people here tend to look down on B-D list agencies when that is all they can afford. if you have 500K to buy slot set your heights lower. Its better than nothing. Most people here who come to tell you their friend just got letter to some A list agency , most times the friend has taken a huge risk and paid alot of money.

See you will be shocked what the original seller put on this slots, the only reason A list slots are expensive is cos of too many indirect sellers adding their own share . Am talking based on experience

there is NO A list(NDIC, CBN, DPR, etc) slot going for 500k or N1 million may be it was a few years ago. if that was the case EVERYONE in abuja would work in A list agencies...

sure there are scammers out there but lets be realistic of the times we are in, these slots are even fewer than before. Scammers exist but also lets be truthful to others here...

Sometimes I do ask myself if buying slot from online can ever be a reality and d answer is not far fetched from the fact we only see adverts of slots here n hardly see testimonies from those who grabbed the opportunity.

Sometimes people come here advertise slot, tell u where to place u (probably an A-LIST agency)n get your money, at the end of the day, u find out it's one of those sick agencies that pay not more than 60k for a start yet u paid millions to get the job. NO-ONE! I REPEAT NO_ONE CAN BE TRUSTED in this present state of the country.


If you have a slot, give it to your families and friends for free. You will still benefit from them as time goes on.

Someone who works in one of A List agencies told me plainly that all this slots don't cost more than 500k if you get the right link(the issue is actually getting the contact). Say the highest you pay for a slot is about a million and u pay such to A LIST agencies that salaries ain't less than 300k for a start but scammers v really made things so difficult.

Imagine paying 2million for a 70k level 8 step 2 appointment. I wonder why the religion we so much carry in mind and parade ain't get to our hearts. Only God will help us.

A slot you can easily give out to a LOYALIST and get the favour back in fewest time is been preferred to be sold. SMH!

did you lie about your actual credentials? There is always screening of documents, and even if you join before you are confirmed they will still screen again.
