Good morning everyone please I just want to ask a question, someone said I should be massaging my baby's neck( you know that hole between the neck and the shoulder) that its not good for it to be completely covered with flesh O. I asked why no logical explanation that ermm cold,co vulsion. That I should be pressing the hole so it will be visible she even said it will pain the baby but I shouldnt mind, a 1 year plus baby.

I even said the hole can never be blocked its still there just that the fleshier the baby the less visible it might be.

You know when even in adults a slim person the hole is more prominent than someone who is a bit chubby same as babies which is the norm.

I just said okay because I didn't believe or agree with the person, I don't think there's any logical reason to do that and I didn't want to argue.

I have heared differnet things but this seems to be the strangest and I am not even a first time mum.

Later on pressed mine and hubbys own the muscles there pained for a long while, my husband now said shey you see how painful it is so someone wants you to do that to a baby for no logical reason.

Just curious has anybody heard of this before.

Nothing wey musa no go see for gate am a ftm thou have not heard of this but seriously all this myths are annoying my baby will be a month old in some days since we got to my in-laws place after delivery they have been massaging his nose I asked why o they said so his nose will be soft if it's not massaged it will stand like plastic am still wondering is it everyone that massage baby nose anyway if it won't harm the baby I will just accept like that but if I see it's something that might affect in future I reject with style.It is well

Am doing exclusive too o,although sometimes it's tiring but seeing my baby's face I can do almost anything for him.I guess that's what's called mother's love
May the Lord strength all mother's and make us not labour in vain

My sister it's really sweet and easy.Thanking God for the opportunity,am I the only one my baby can suck in the night like almost every hour or one and half hour.That part self is a real vigilante.

U can buy molfix,but that outgrow stuff that depends on your baby most babies outgrow it in months o just buy few o cos u will still collect as gift

I quickyl bought the tape rule and started using it to measure her belle every weekend... I thought its just for bumps measurement ni o

Yes it works...three days after delivery I started coughing, I used syrup and almost all the home made natural remedies I know they didn't work. But when my mum suggested the palm oil and sugar it worked. Although I added lime to mine.

Yes lime works too but I didn't mention it because the mama I suggested it for is pregnant and I don't think lime is good in pregnancy so I used only palmoil and sugar then while still pregnant

Moderation should be the key if u want to use it. just mix palm oil and sugar in a plastic,let her lick it

Insomnia is part of the package for some people use that medium to pray and read any of the holy book according to your faith.
For cough I also had cough in my second trimester but I used home made remedy sugar and palm oil and I was free. Maybe u can try that too

There are cravings and there are cravings o, I read about one woman who craves to smell 'farts', another craves to flush toilet (by hand, with bucket I mean) anytime anyone defecates in her household.
So, if u shit & flush by yourself, its a trouble with a capital T from her.

It took your tummy 9 months to stretch, you just gave birth the other day. Continue breastfeeding exclusively and allow the uterus to go back on it's own.

You should be glad it is just pressing the stomach with hot water. I had to sit on hot towel when I had my first child.

Sit on hot towel mother's are trying o my own my mil will put hot towel in between my legs till it reach the vg but since the stitch healed I no gree again o that thing is painful mehn

Thanks mama I did it o the pressing of back chest breast and have stopped since 8 days am asking is it too early to stop

The uterus will go back to it's normal position on its own, forget all this pressing and punishment things.
Although my mum has been doing it for me o and I have been enduring it because she won't agree with me

Like when will one have flat tummy back o cos am still having one small tummy like am three months gone again

Have been doing sit bath too and it has healed,but am still doing the sitzbath to avoid future stories,but I need to ask o this pressing of the stomach with hot water March mamas how many days did u do it o.Hsve been avoiding it since my baby's naming but am thinking hope am not doing myself like this cos my belly has not gone back totally to its former shape

Hi mamas how long is bleeding after child birth?. I noticed water coming out of my vag this evening I thought I was bleeding at first is this normal?

I also stopped bleeding five days after birth but have been having brown watery thing on my pad I stopped using pad yesterday and it stopped gradually.Maybe u should give it time till tomorrow maybe it will stop of not u can check back at the hospital
