coldFLARES1: Unfortunately, if you're man with some conscience, in these type of situations, there comes a time where you'd rather be jobless than keep asslicking to keep a job that would not be worth it when the day of reckoning comes.
The security situation of the country really scares me, yet it keeps getting worse because government are now openly acting as enablers. I hardly do interstate travels because I can't imagine being caught in a hostage situation, a terrible situation whose probability seem to have risen to like 3%.
I would be doing a bit of farming this year with the hope to be substantially invested in farming next year and you know what? With the security situation currently, procuring arms and ammunition seem to be as important as getting improved seedlings and farm equipment.
It's that bad! Real talk. I'm just surprised that sane Southerners e.g Sagay and the late Tam David-West believe in Buhari. It seems Sagay has seen enough. |

tsspsolutions: That Yoruba are two face and duplicitous is the greatest conspiracy against the Yoruba Nation by the Ibos. And I've come to understand there is an outfit tasked in ensuring this fallacy is sustain because looking at the content of the trend that started this whole hullabaloo doesn't even warrant it at all. Gani clearly stated his new outfit will compliment the efforts of security agencies and not to establish an independent militias so no basis for comparison with ESN.
Firstly, nobody is stealing Kanu's initiative, when he announced the launch of ESN, he said he's starting a security outfit like Amotekun, the official name is Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) and Hisbah in the North.
Secondly, majority of Yoruba comments online, the punch, Sahara reporters, the Cable, have always been sympathetic to ESN, I know some of our people will always have something to say about the fact it wasn't legally constituted but personally, I've always known Nigeria's problems can never be redeemed through legal means and those that created all the mess knew the fact that's why they always advised people to seek constitutional solutions. Story!
Finally, I want to believe there are some people on Nairaland who pretend to be Yoruba and Ibo just to cause trouble between the two groups. Maybe Sowore was sympathetic because of what MNK did for him. The Afenifere supported too. But we knew the real thoughts of the Yorubas towards us when the military came to Orlu. It is simply unfortunate that after your smear campaign against ESN, you guys are shamelessly stealing the IPOB template. As for the 'conspiracies', I rest my case. The life and times of Awo will suffice anyone who is sincere. |

Oshigun: Are you dumb? Is ESN legal to begin with before we even begin addressing the issue of them carrying guns? Any normal adult will of course criticize ESN because it is a militia the Government will have no choice to crush sooner or later lest others like it begin springing up everywhere.
You guys never change. Declare Biafra illegally against the Nigerian constitution to then blame Yorubas for lives lost through your own irresponsible action.
Same way Igbos swung behind illegal ESN to want to now cry Yorubas did not wish ESN well. How can anyone wish ESN well knowing how things will end and also in view of the inaction of your irresponsible Governors, the worst in Nigeria, derelicting their duties. Did you Igbos not indulge and ignore their misrule and incompetence in preference for foaming at the mouth about Sanwo Olu and Tinubu.
Hard to wish Igbos well if you dont know. You people are very difficult and unreaosnable. You expect the automatic backing of others for all you do whether legal or illegal. nobody needs your 'well wishes'. You won't wish me well more than Awo did! Stop being treacherous. Say one thing today, do another tomorrow. |
Politics › Re: New South-West Security Network To Be Launched Soon – Gani Adams by tishbite41(m): 3:08am On Mar 07, 2021 |
Oshigun: ESN shot themselves in the foot with their videos taunting the Fulani-led FG that was already cranky at the treatment of Fulanis across the SE and SW.
Blame SE Governors, very greedy and corrupt Fulani asslickers , for putting Kanu in that position in the first place. With Amotekun in place, no way the FG can reject any move by SE governors to initiate a similar South East security outfit.
The bottom.line is that your greedy leaders don't want to fund it and prefer for Igbos to continue dying. Not a fan of Kanu or his method but SE Governors put him in the position where Igbos were happy to welcome and embrace his effort rather than question it as illegal.
Your Governors are wicked and worthless. This is why I am amazed Igbos prefer to use their time attacking Yoruba leaders when their own leaders are by far the worst in Nigeria. this incoherent epistle does not answer the question: Why are Yorubas duplicitous and two-faced? |

But you guys were running amok when MNK set up ESN. God will have mercy on you guys. Yorubas are like that. They can't help themselves. Kanu should stop working with them. |

randytt1: But according to some stupid sets of Nigerians, Igbos are not united.
Tell me, when IPOB issues sit-at-home, which shops open in the whole Southeast? Markets, schools, factories, businesses even banks are closed and deserted till sit-at-home duration is expired.
This one even said his means of livelihood is affected just for one week of not selling beef - and that's why North and South should remain one Nigeria (even if Fulani Herdsmen are wiping out his family). If Nigerians remove illiteracy or is it hypocrisy from their eyes they will learn that Igbos are the ones that love themselves the most and the ones that are united more than anybody and that's why Biafra or Igbo Republic will be an instant success (unlike Nigeria that practices fake love). What foreigners call lack of unity in Igboland is democracy. Democracy is not lack of unity. United States of America vote 50/50 for Republican and Democrats but when it comes to fighting terrorists that threaten the life of their citizens, everybody unites. This is exactly the opposite in Nigeria even among some of the tribes. Following shady characters like Tinubu or Buhari and doing everything they say without asking questions, voting anyone they bring is not unity. Igbos don't worship politicians and rich men and don't believe in herd mentality. If you are wayward and rich and become the richest king in the world, Igbos won't listen to you. If you speak the truth, if you like be as small as a 5-year-old, Igbos will listen to you and consult your opinion in the scheme of things. That's why Nnamdi Kanu is the most respected and most popular man in Igboland today. you have said it all. |

Rugaria: Whether his surname is Irabor or gidgiddy is not the issue. If he says he's igbo and comes from igboland irrespective of zones, he IS DEFINITELY igbo! If he says he's not, then he's not! We have to keep it like this in order to play safe! Two funny looking brats named Chubuike Amaechi and Nyesomghosa Wikevie are from the same ancestral family in ObiaAkpor LGA of Rivers State. One said he is igbo, (though we still remember his infamous outburst;"are we Biafrans"?), The other says he walked down to Port Harcourt from the ancient Benin kingdom while in a trance! The same family, two different takes! It's confusing, but we will still find ways to pick the grains and leave the chaffs for the convulsing zoo... Thanks for this insightful talk. |
