Politics › Re: Judgement Day: Tension As Presidential Election Tribunal Delivers Verdict by tishbite42: 8:13am On Sep 06, 2023 |
Nightwolf1: I'm suspecting that Tinubu is not going to win @ the tribunal and, for that reason, there won't be massive outrage and protests against the court or the President. This is a ploy to subdue tension.
Thereafter, the outcome of PEPT would be dragged to the Supreme court where eventually he would win. In that circumstance, if those who lost @ the PEPT didn't protests, then those who lost @ the Supreme court are not expected to protest too.
This is how I feel. True talk But that's drawing a straight line graph Tinubu wouldn't risk that |

Like you said, OP is using the picture of G-20 member leaders which us different from visitor. He is doing that because Obiediesent are generally ignorant. They don’t even know the meaning of things they post. They just regurgitate nonsense without even checking what they post.

LegendHero: Ogade that was before civil war.
Stop mixing historical dates. Pick a book and enlighten yourself.
Civil war started 1967, Awolowo got released almost a year before. read my post again you surely have comprehension problems go and consult the brighter grammar series |

Cappoditutti: This account is not accurate: what actually happened was Dikko slapped Ojukwu in the house during the session and people prevailed on Ojukwu thereby making it impossible for him to respond during the session, after the session, Ojukwu waited for Dikko in the parking lot and did not just slap him but gave him real boxing lesson before he was rescued.

Politics › Re: What Ojukwu Said About Releasing Awolowo by tishbite42: 6:34pm On Sep 05, 2023 |
LegendHero: Normally I shouldn’t respond to your ignorance.
—Awolowo was released in August 4 1966. That was before civil war, almost a year before. We saw the proof Gowon released him. Ojuku had no supreme control of eastern region by this time.
So you know, it wasn’t Awo alone that was released on that day, Gowon released multiple people at once and it was fully gazetted.
—Col. Banjo was released May 1967 when Ojuku proclaimed Biafra. We all know Ojuku released him because by then, he had control of the Eastern region.
So why will you now equate both occurrence? You better go back to your history books and stop saying nonsense on public forum. gowon had no power over the east at any point in time before the end of the civil war. if he could release awolowo, then he could have imprisoned ojukwu i fully understand the plight of the yorubas |
