Pennywise: This so called Iris Foundation is a fraud. In better climes the owner will be in Jail serving a long sentence. He took his enterprise to Ghana and he was promptly kicked out. He has found active collaboration with Nafdac officials who have ready licenses for products he has not even made yet. Their excuse for the licenses is that the product (like pure water) is safe and will not kill you which is doubtful.

Not all fibroids require surgery anyway and pain is not a hallmark of presentation. You may safely disregard the occasional mortality that is associated with its removal as it is extremely rare. Remember pple die from malaria. If your relation lives in Lagos she can have the surgery done in at least 3 places within 20 mins drive from her home

Talking about Iris Foundation, I was one of his lucky victims! Lucky in the sense that I did not part with my hard-earned money in exchange for his fake treatment.(Oh well, the man, Dr. Ojei is dead now) Having watched the man on TV trying to promote his (fake) drugs, I visited his office to complain of fibroid and he rejected the scan report I went with insisting I should go and do another one at his own recommended Scan Center (they worked together I guess). Fortunately/unfortunately I couldn't go there that day so the following day when I did I forgot the paper he gave me at home and just walked into the center on a neutral ground without referral. While carrying out the scan, the guy (what are they called?) chatted me up and was almost pleading that I should opt for surgery considering my age and the size(s) of the fibroids. I asked him if herbs could eliminate/reduce it but he said that no herbs could give me the desired result within a short time. I deliberately asked him if I could go to a place like 'Iris' and he said 'my sister, let me not deceive you, go and do surgery! I got the message fast-fast and needless to say that I did not go back to the office/clinic till today.(And Ojei has BOASTEDDDD!!!, If any one ever watched his telecast you'd know that the man dey mouthed no be small!) It's obvious that if I'd gone to the scan center/lab with Paul Ojei's referral, the man who did the scan wouldn't have been able to open up that much. And I'd have been scammed like other unsuspecting victims!

@nnnanaaghogho, eeya, the Lord will see you through. I've been through it before so let me ask the following questions:
How old is the pregnancy? Are you having pains (I started having pains from 6wks)
Are you spotting? (Spotted up till 6 months)!
Whatever your answers to the above questions, go and register for antenatal at a good hospital quickly for proper management. I lost several pregnancies to fibroid growth and I don't wish you the same. Good news is I eventually carried one successfully and delivered a healthy child at term. The challenge with this condition is that fibroid and the foetus usually compete for space thereby leading to premature opening of the cervix and eventual miscarriage. Please go and register at a good hospital with an experienced gynaecologist. You shall carry your baby at the fulness of time as the Lord lives!. Cheers

Dear maryswags, So sorry about your loss(es). Thank God for the bible says in all things give thanks. I said to 'give thanks' for the ability to conceive in the first instance. I had huge fibroids (intramural and all sorts). I had uncountable miscarriages within 3years of marriage until I met Dr. Adeyemi,a renowned Gynaecologist, the MD of Crystal Specialist hospital. I actually consulted him with the intent of undergoing surgery but he encouraged me to give pregnancy another try which I did and God used him to manage it successfully. I was placed on a weekly injection and daily dose of tablet for the first 4/5 months and I had a healthy baby at term though throuch CS. He consults on Mondays and Thursdays, feel free to contact him anytime you are ready. Hospital is located along Egbeda/Akowonjo Road (quite popular)(believing you are resident in Lagos). You can, but make sure u're using the original Olive Oil if u dont want to eat poison. Some of them smell like engine oil!

I have 2 accounts with CSCS, one in my maiden name and the other in my current name. I bought 2000  units of shares at the last public offer of First Bank in my two names respectively i.e I filled 2 forms simultaneously.

In a bid to subscribe to e-allottment I erronously  wrote on one form the account number (with my stockbroking house)  instead of my CSCS number while the other form was properly filled.  Now,  one was okay, as in I got the certificate in good time but the erronous one has been hanging only God knows where.  I physically complained to FBN Registrars orally and in writing  abt a year ago but nothing has happend since. 

Does anyone in the house know what else I can do? 1000 units @ N39 = N39,000 and I can't afford to lose that much oh . Thanks  y'all
