Once upon a time! Time - time. I was in primary school, some cousins came to spend holiday with us and we shared the same bed. Upon resumption from holiday I had a head full of lice which I must have picked from them shocked! One fateful day, my class teacher had to beat me for an offence I cannot remember and when she was not looking I pretended to want to submit my notebook and having removed one louse from my head I discreetly dropped it in her full hair, because she did not know I continued doing so everytime she was marking my notebook I would just remove one louse and drop on her head, I wonder why I was never caught huh. I watched her weeks later when she started scratching her hair! Now am so, so sorry cry but was so mischievously excited then! grin
FamilyRe: Who Should Be One's Next Of Kin ? - by titilaelae(f): 10:01am On Jun 26, 2012
In the case of bank stuff and investment or anything that has to do with who claims your lot in case of your demise, the man should use the wife or the eldest (or the most trusted)child as next of kin. The wife should use the child as well. The bottom line here is using someone who will naturally, and all things being equal, succeed you, that is, a younger relation by blood. Children should always use either parent as next of kin until they marry or have children.

My husband and I used each other as next of kin until I saw a form my boss filled some time ago where he filled in his 10yr old only child as next of kin, I curiously asked him why he did not use his wife and he said 'not that he did not trust his wife, that of course it is the wife that will still act on the child's behalf (being a minor) anyway. But that 'what happens if something happens to both him and the wife at the same time?' That was when I decided to be using my 3yr old child as next of kin but my husband is not convinced yet, he still uses me as his undecided.
I wish lawyers on this forum could come and share from their legal point of view.

Oh, I later found these: https://www.nairaland.com/973039/should-ones-next-kin#11213019 and https://www.nairaland.com/806841/right-person-choose-next-kin the topic is extensively discussed there

@Poster,
I feel your pains! Now I remember that Wednesday rain shocked, it actually rained in the early evening but the badly flooded roads made it impossible for people to get back to their homes in good time. Some of my colleagues later told the story of how late it was when they got home angry If you have tried all the above suggestions and they failed, why don't you get that your friend/neighbour he insisted on speaking with to also send him a mail or call him, chances are he will want to respect her and give her audience. She can corroborate your 'rain' + 'bad traffic' story and placate him on your behalf, and who knows, that might soften him wink. All the best!

Thank you jare, my brothers. I have other networks (though with their own palava lipsrsealed) and losing N200 is no big deal, I was only angered by their deceit and the way my fellow countrymen were taking sides with them.

They shouldn't have sent the message to me at 7pm Sunday. And I still insist that they shouldn't have wiped off my legitimate credit, what the heck is 'promotional' in that!
PhonesRe: This Etisalat Promo is It For Real? by titilaelae(f): 12:09pm On Jun 12, 2012
Etisalat is fraudulent. Below is what they did to me grin

https://www.nairaland.com/961049/hoodwinked-etisalat-promo-offer#11077585

Imagine if I'd loaded up to N1000 worth of credit? Man, I would have shot somebody! (lol)

The only place where they are credible is giving subcribers a percentage of amount recharged in the course of the month.

mikolo80: WHEN YOU REFUSE TO READ THE FINE PRINT.THATS HOW STUDENTS FAIL EXAMS
I guess you are on Etisalat's payroll and you 'eat' the money unscrupulously gotten together. Fine print or no fine print, what they did is fraudulent and criminal.

HealthRe: Pregnancy Are You Pregnant Or Going Through A High Risk Pregnancy,,lets Talk by titilaelae(f):
maryswags: @ Agiboma thank you and God bless!

@ Titilaelae...thanks a lot for d info about ur experience with crystal hospital. Ironically someone referred me to one of their consultants @ crystal hospital, although I met him @ his private clinic, and he told me I have no other option than to operate it (kind of surprised cos none of them is inside my womb, just in the sorrounding muscles and d largest is about 3cm)...I actually ran off for my life! I'm really confused now cos each doctor has his own story 2 suit himself. Pls what injections and drugs were you placed on during your pregnancy? Because I just met another doctor that says he would place me on progesterone for bout 4 months when I'm preg again...just want to be sure!...thanks dear
The injection was 'Primolut N' but I can't remember the name of the tablet. I wonder who that consultant was that did not even give you a chance! shocked shocked shocked Like I said, it was their MD I consulted. Anyway, you go and try County as suggested by mogbomoya. May the good Lord see you through.

I congratulate all the new Mummies in the house, wish all the 'bigi belles' cheesy safe deliver and send baby dust to the rest of us. One love.

bamboke: I am 33, going to 34. About to get married. I am scarred to remove the fibroid cos of scarring and I do love to get pregnant. Quite big and gives pain during menses. Do
I try for children first or do I go for surgery? I know there are stories of women who still have children despite fibroids. What is your candid opinion, please?
@Bamboke, so what did you eventually do? You must be married now going by your post above. How did you manage the fibroid? Surgery? Carried pregnancy with it? Can you share your experience pls?
PhonesHoodwinked By Etisalat Promo Offer by titilaelae(op): 11:28am On Jun 11, 2012
About 7pm yesterday I received an sms on my etisalat network viz:GET DOUBLE OF ALL YOUR RECHARGES! SEND 'ON' TO 356 NOW & START RECHARGING WITH N200 AND ABOVE FROM 6PM ON FRIDAY TO 11.59PM ON SUNDAY TO GET DOUBLE OF ALL YOUR RECHARGES. I did not see through this as a scam so I subscribed, got a confirmation sms and recharged (luckily) with only N200 (All this I did around 10pm, that was when I was able to get recharge voucher). Shortly after, I got this sms back: DEAR CUSTOMER, FOR RECHARGING N200 YOU HAVE RECIEVED AN ADDITIONAL N200 BONUS OF N200, BOTH VALID TILL 11.59PM ON SUNDAY! That was when it struck me that I might have been scammed but who would I start calling at 10pm? lipsrsealed No qualms, I thought 'dem no born them papa well to remove my N200, if them like make them wipe their bonus' Alas, this morning when I had time for them I checked my balance and behold, it was all Main Balance: 50 (which I had b4);Promo: N0.00; recharge now and get 30% bla blah huh

I am totally dissapointed in etisalat. I used to think they are more faithful in deliverables than mtn and airtel but Ive been proved wrong now! It's not the value of what I recharged that makes me feel bad but the fact that I was swindled by a network Ive been loyal to, the promo lines were ambigous, they should have specified the Sunday they meant. They had no right to tamper with my credit if they had to wipe off theirs, I am very very angry sad.

Ehn, spiritual, even at that, if he wakes up and pees hourly or even 2-hourly, making it serious business, which 'spirit' grin will make him pee on the bed?

@bengold, by what method please? Why don't you spill it here for ALL OF US to learn? Who knows, there may be others in the house with similar condition! undecided
HealthRe: 40 And Bedwetting by titilaelae(f): 11:54am On Jun 05, 2012
Too bad. Let him set hourly alarm to wake him up to pee until he gets over it. Prayer does work too but he should take practical steps as well.
